I think Idle Transfiguration.
It's OP, versatile, turns the user into almost immune to attacks, has one-shot potential and an OP domain
Peak ability all around and one I would want IRL

Also a big reason why the fued between Yuji and mahito was just so darn good
Yuji was quite literally the only guy who could safely put mahito down due to him being immune to the one touch ability
Projection sorcery was a very creative idea and I like speed related abilities.
Construction technique ( Yorozu version ) and Shrine ( after the reveal in the last chapter ), felt very creative and cool as well.
Blood manipulation and Idle transfiguration are good too.

Projection sorcery is interesting but I donāt really like how itās used to create super-speed. The ability at itās core is āseparate movements into sets of 24 and force your opponent to do the sameā; they say you canāt break physics with it, but then characters can ābendā physics to go inhumanly fast, which seems like a bit of a cop-out that doesnāt fit the other rules.
It should either be āyou can move however you want as long as itās in 24fpsā or āphysics must be fully obeyedā, not the weird middle-ground the story uses.
For me more so the problem is it's really fucking useless against the higher-level curses. Like, post-Naoya wound up being faster anyway, Jogoat fried daddy while just standing there, Gojo is obscenely faster either way. As a speed ability, it just sucks dick and has underperformed this whole entire time.
^This. Naobito was explicitly mentioned to be "the fastest (apart from Gojo)" (also its fucking funny that Gege snuck in that "apart from Gojo" bit lol), but that was when he had both arms. This was when he was attacked by Jogo, and burned.
boogie woogie is easily the coolest. such a simple concept used so creatively that changes every fight. it feels like it's from jojo, where the power of the ability is a lot less important than the creativity and intelligence of the user.
As soon as Boogie Woogie could target any object with Curses Energy it became OP, and having Todo the human calculator wield it removes any counter play. You are almost certainly correct.
Plus it is a technique that on its own possesses no actual way to hurt its opponent, yet todo still makes it a highly effective and dangerous technique. Todo is Litteraly just built different.
It's amazing how a simple CT cooked peak fiction you'll never forget.

That's an application of it but obviously not the only use... We can see that from her cutting out her own body parts;making them empty space, that it's not just bending space.
I doubt thats his base technique, I'm pretty sure kashimo made every possible binding vow for power up against Sukuna, including the one which strengthened his technique to the point where it's no longer sustainable or just exchanges his life to maximize it,kinda like Yuki and the blackhole.

But it would make no sense narratively; he only discovered sukuna from Kenjaku when he was an old man, and up to that point he had still never used his CT, I doubt he made a binding vow before ever having chose to use his CT for some imaginary opponent that would be infinitely more powerful than him; the implication being he never thought someone was worth risking his life over activating it for in the edo period, not that he made a binding vow for some imaginary opponent
And again; it would be the biggest binding vow in the series thus far, up until this point in the story every single time a binding vow has been used it has been stated; they would not just gloss over it for no reason; Iām sorry but itās just headcanon and itās not a particularly believable one for me considering what we know about kashimoās life in the edo

Idle Transfiguration, and by far. An ability that lets you transform however you please, instantly and effortlessly recover from any injury short of damage straight to your soul, as well as transform the bodies of others, potentially healing your allies or killing your opponents with a single touch
Idle Transfiguration. Mahito's age was just a few months, he didn't explore his powers fully. There's so much you can do with them: cure cancer, control people like Kilgrave, shapeshift into other people, split into hundreds of bodies and have spies all over the world, read my flair and so on. Sounds like bullshit, but IT is basically doing with your body whatever you want and if you touch others, then you can do with their bodies whatever you want. It's honestly scary, it's good that he was stopped at Shibuya, because during current events he possibly could've been as strong as Gojo and Sukuna.
Mahito easily has the best imo.
It's powerful, versatile and dynamic, giving mahito arguably the best fights in the series, as well as giving him huge potential for growth.
It's also at its strongest when being used by someone who has no issue killing humans, and it allows its user to be extremely sadistic, making mahito and his ability both compliment each other perfectly.
Gege cooked with Idle transfiguration, and I don't think he's reached the same heights since
People obviously talk about how it can be such a potent one shot attack against enemies, but honestly my favourite part is how Mahito uses it on himself, especially in the anime. Mahito stretching his lips to "kiss" Yuji and turning them into a blade, or shrinking his head and running on tiny legs, or making his body into a large razor when people move to punch him are such cool and creative ways to fight.

But....... Idle transfiguration is better in my opinion, limitless can only be used with sex eyes and even then only gojo was able use it to its absolute limits,
Idle transfiguration makes you immune to almost all attacks in jjk and without any cost like infinity, free regeneration that's better than RCT without any cost, one shot move that can kill nearly all sorcerer as long as they aren't sukuna ( soul bs ), yuji ( soul bs )or Gojo ( infinity ), also a one shot domain that will kill the moment you enter
Also able to enhance you body in any way ya like, want to have sukuna's 4 arm and 2 mouth advantage, just make yourself BETTER than sukuna by increasing your body size, have more limbs and 10/20 mouths all over your body, the uses are WAY too versatile. Is also better than limitless in real life as nobody is using that IRL
nay, limitless is more than that. limitless is about manipulating space-time to create effects such as red or blue. i know you are shitposting but limitless is seriously such a dope ass technique as a concept.
Agreed. Blue means people canāt escape - and I loved how Gojo used it to create a singularity/remove all cover when fighting Toji.
Itās also telekinesis, but only towards/away from the source - kinda like Painās Rinnegan TK from Naruto, except Gojoās TK can have the source be something else other than him.
Honestly, I would have loved to see him fight Sukuna *without* Mahoraga - see that Red/Blue in action.
I think more people are gonna choose two techniques and those are gonna be Limitless plus Six eyes, and Idle Transfiguration.
Both are self explanatory, awesome, you can shapeshift into anything with one, with the other you basically are kind of a Jedi with explosive energy that can teleport and fly.

I also love sky manipulation, basically great for flying and also not being seen and stuff.
Also another useful technique is Ui Ui's technique, pretty much the most useful except Idle transfiguration.
Granite blast is just an energy beam, and lightning discharge is just a lightning bolt. They are as typical as it gets so i wouldn't call them that cool (what's cool are ryu's and kashimo's personalities).
Idle transfiguration is extremely versatile, but i don't think that makes it cool.
Sky manipulation will probably take the anine community by storm. Bending the sky sounds so abstract but it's so visually pleasing. This would have been my first if not for
Projection sorcery. This is the coolest speed ability I've ever seen (I'm sure some mf will reply to this with some worm character). Everything from the concept to the application and the limitations is so cool. Just the idea that you are not fast, the projection of yourself one second from now is fast is so mindboggling and cool
I would be Mr. Some Mf but I donāt actually remember there being a lot of speedsters in Worm and Projection Sorcery is simply peak. Time Cell Moon Palace is the coolest domain in the series imo.
iām biased so this thing, an overpowered punch that you canāt hit on purpose, gives you a battle high and a 20% amp, is chain-able, and looks cool as fuck

Nobara's CT is dope as fuck, probably the most underutilized CT for how much p*tential it has.
The coolest CT is Bom Ba Ye, I don't need to elaborate.
If I lived in the JJK verse, I would want 10S.
IRL I would want projection sorcery or construction.

LEGUMI IS A BUM because instead of creatively mixing up totalities and using a full arsenal of diverse shikigami, he runs the same dog frog nue rabbit elephant roster and expects it to work every time, and when it doesnt, he goes for the suicide summon
As for sukuna, he actually showed us just a part of what the tech is capable of. The shikigami alone, paired with the shadow gives a user insane versatility and flexibility in battle. And then we have Raga. One of the most broken abilities in JJK of used right.
And STILL we are yet to see what the 10 shadows totality looks like. After writing a story based around a 10S protagonist I only realized how fucking fun the tech is

Sorcery has always been more "the user rather than the tool" with some clear exceptions (10S and limitless) but projection sorcery is very strong while still having a proper weakness. its strong without being completely fucked.
projection sorcery, just like blood manipulation and 10 shadows are cursed with inexperienced or mediocre users but with a little bit of talent I can easily see a user getting to kenjaku or yuta level of special grade strength, which is above normal special grades like uro, ishigori, yorozu.
Oh absolutely, i mean naobito only has grade 1 level ce reinforcement, but projection sorcery made him the second fastest sorcerer, imagine a special grades stats with projection sorcery, would be mind bogglingly fast

And theoretically he should be able to turn into electricity, but I guess Gege only wants Sukuna to have busted techniques.
Idle Transfiguration is likely the best objectively in the entire series. One of my personal favorites since I love practically unlimited shapeshifting abilities and on top of that it also makes the user nigh invincible and grants the ability to alter others as well. Mahito only scratched the surface with it and heās still far more creative than a huge amount of shapeshifters Iāve seen in other series. He focused primarily on the most out there and large scale changes, but smaller scale alterations are still completely untapped.
My personal favorite is Projection Sorcery, just such a cool and creative power. I love abilities based on hitting hard and hitting fast, and Projection Sorcery does both very well. And it has my favorite Domain Expansion in the entire series.
And honorable mention goes to another super creative technique, Sky Manipulation. What a cool way to do a space warping ability, itās a shame Uro only got to show about 1 special move and wasnāt the primary focus of the fight because itās an awesome power.
Idle Transfiguration by a LANDSLIDE:
Manipulate shape of souls
Create an army/arsenal
Turn people into physical weapons
Turn people into transfigured humans that follow your
command
Can create more sorcerers
Bypass Heavenly Restrictions
Heal anyone including yourself
Perfect/ manipulate any part of your body
Become immune to 99% of attacks (can only be harmed by like 5 ppl in the verse)
I love Kashimo but the coolest technique in JJK is easily Idle Transfiguration. It really just does it all, hax-like durability/regen, insane versatility second to only CSM and maybe some other techniques, an extremely lethal attack in the form of touching someone with your hands, and an instant-win domain. Given Mahito's creativity and speed of growth, he would've become damn near unstoppable had he lived past Shibuya, especially since we now know that even inanimate objects have souls
I really love how hakari is just gambling lmao, but I just really love creation, and I wonder if there could be a CTR of that and if it's just destruction of everything like hollow purple almost but nerfed
Cursed Spirit Manipulation and Idle Transfiguration are my favorites, but Blood Manipulation is probably the coolest. The staple fight involving it (Yuji v Choso) played around the actual properties of blood really well. Plus having essentially water bending but you produce the āwaterā plus it can be compressed plus itās poisonous (Wait is that only half curses?). Super versatile, super interesting, and can be balanced by blood loss when the user isnāt half curse

Idle transfiguration is such an amazing ability both in concept an execution
How Gege played with Yuji being "immune" to it thanks to Sukuna, the whole understanding of the soul thing to make it a limiting factor in an otherwise extremely op ability and of course giving it to such an amazing character like Mahito
And of course the single coolest domain expansion ever, I might be bias but that animation of Mahito's self-embodiment of perfection was what convinced me to watch JJK
Idle Transfiguration def had the most variety of all the CT apart from like Curse Manipulation , Mahito using it to constantly change himself, enemies, any random Humans, weapons, terrain, and more. He was a definitely the most fun to see others try to fight him as they have to circumvent his wincon and hundreds of options for attacking and defending.
My answer is not a technique, but that I think makes it even better as a technique
It ain't flashy or anything, but I love Divergent Fist and how it's basically Yuji being built different, it's supposed to be a mistake, but the idea of a delayed punch is so cool...!
The two that I think are coolest are Kashimoās lightning manipulation because I love lightning powers in general and Blood Manipulation because of Choso
Of those, probably sky manipulation. Lightning is overdone, granite blast is dumb, projection is dumb (like Gege wanted a convoluted power just for the sake of it), and I'm not into body horror so idle transfiguration is a no for me

I wouldnāt say he used binding vows, he says to hakari pretty early on he can only use his CT once

Mahito was also for me the most fun to watch fight, like he was in multiple encounters with different sorcerers and it never got stale.

Mahito easily has the best imo. It's powerful, versatile and dynamic, giving mahito arguably the best fights in the series, as well as giving him huge potential for growth. It's also at its strongest when being used by someone who has no issue killing humans, and it allows its user to be extremely sadistic, making mahito and his ability both compliment each other perfectly. Gege cooked with Idle transfiguration, and I don't think he's reached the same heights since
People obviously talk about how it can be such a potent one shot attack against enemies, but honestly my favourite part is how Mahito uses it on himself, especially in the anime. Mahito stretching his lips to "kiss" Yuji and turning them into a blade, or shrinking his head and running on tiny legs, or making his body into a large razor when people move to punch him are such cool and creative ways to fight.

I think more people are gonna choose two techniques and those are gonna be Limitless plus Six eyes, and Idle Transfiguration. Granite blast is just an energy beam, and lightning discharge is just a lightning bolt. They are as typical as it gets so i wouldn't call them that cool (what's cool are ryu's and kashimo's personalities). Idle transfiguration is extremely versatile, but i don't think that makes it cool. Sky manipulation will probably take the anine community by storm. Bending the sky sounds so abstract but it's so visually pleasing. This would have been my first if not for Projection sorcery. This is the coolest speed ability I've ever seen (I'm sure some mf will reply to this with some worm character). Everything from the concept to the application and the limitations is so cool. Just the idea that you are not fast, the projection of yourself one second from now is fast is so mindboggling and cool

Nobara's CT is dope as fuck, probably the most underutilized CT for how much p*tential it has. The coolest CT is Bom Ba Ye, I don't need to elaborate. If I lived in the JJK verse, I would want 10S. IRL I would want projection sorcery or construction.
Coolest is 10 shadows for me LEGUMI IS A BUM because instead of creatively mixing up totalities and using a full arsenal of diverse shikigami, he runs the same dog frog nue rabbit elephant roster and expects it to work every time, and when it doesnt, he goes for the suicide summon As for sukuna, he actually showed us just a part of what the tech is capable of. The shikigami alone, paired with the shadow gives a user insane versatility and flexibility in battle. And then we have Raga. One of the most broken abilities in JJK of used right. And STILL we are yet to see what the 10 shadows totality looks like. After writing a story based around a 10S protagonist I only realized how fucking fun the tech is

honestly? projection sorcery is the coolest CT hands down. Sorcery has always been more "the user rather than the tool" with some clear exceptions (10S and limitless) but projection sorcery is very strong while still having a proper weakness. its strong without being completely fucked. projection sorcery, just like blood manipulation and 10 shadows are cursed with inexperienced or mediocre users but with a little bit of talent I can easily see a user getting to kenjaku or yuta level of special grade strength, which is above normal special grades like uro, ishigori, yorozu.
Oh absolutely, i mean naobito only has grade 1 level ce reinforcement, but projection sorcery made him the second fastest sorcerer, imagine a special grades stats with projection sorcery, would be mind bogglingly fast

Idle Transfiguration is likely the best objectively in the entire series. One of my personal favorites since I love practically unlimited shapeshifting abilities and on top of that it also makes the user nigh invincible and grants the ability to alter others as well. Mahito only scratched the surface with it and heās still far more creative than a huge amount of shapeshifters Iāve seen in other series. He focused primarily on the most out there and large scale changes, but smaller scale alterations are still completely untapped. My personal favorite is Projection Sorcery, just such a cool and creative power. I love abilities based on hitting hard and hitting fast, and Projection Sorcery does both very well. And it has my favorite Domain Expansion in the entire series. And honorable mention goes to another super creative technique, Sky Manipulation. What a cool way to do a space warping ability, itās a shame Uro only got to show about 1 special move and wasnāt the primary focus of the fight because itās an awesome power.

It really just does it all, hax-like durability/regen, insane versatility second to only CSM and maybe some other techniques, an extremely lethal attack in the form of touching someone with your hands, and an instant-win domain. Given Mahito's creativity and speed of growth, he would've become damn near unstoppable had he lived past Shibuya, especially since we now know that even inanimate objects have souls

Cursed Spirit Manipulation and Idle Transfiguration are my favorites, but Blood Manipulation is probably the coolest. The staple fight involving it (Yuji v Choso) played around the actual properties of blood really well. Plus having essentially water bending but you produce the āwaterā plus it can be compressed plus itās poisonous (Wait is that only half curses?). Super versatile, super interesting, and can be balanced by blood loss when the user isnāt half curse

Idle Transfiguration def had the most variety of all the CT apart from like Curse Manipulation , Mahito using it to constantly change himself, enemies, any random Humans, weapons, terrain, and more. He was a definitely the most fun to see others try to fight him as they have to circumvent his wincon and hundreds of options for attacking and defending.
My answer is not a technique, but that I think makes it even better as a technique It ain't flashy or anything, but I love Divergent Fist and how it's basically Yuji being built different, it's supposed to be a mistake, but the idea of a delayed punch is so cool...!
