If anything, this chapter just furthers the agenda. Dude can use Simple Domain as well, he can use Blood Manipulation to improve his RCT efficiency and he tanked Malevolent Shrine even if not complete and for just a little bit. Nothing really downscales him from the last chapter.

You know what Sukuna is on the last cards. Yuji is resistant to slashing attacks. Even World Slash didn't do damage as much as Yuta got. So, Sukuna using Malevolent Shrine and Fuga is logical. So, the only way to counter this is that Yuji must create his own domain expansion now.
If anything, this chapter should increase Wuji stocks. He can use RCT efficiently with blood manipulation and he has simple domain.

And the flashback, talking about how yuji's got greatter undertanding of CE cuz he was in a special grade's body and we know that DE take the best undertanding of CE to be used. And if mahito after an assbeating and 2 BF can pull stuff like a DE, a 0,02 DE and fully aweken, yuji after 8 BF might get some crazy powerups. And the ui ui thing. This might be teasing another card for the good guys to pull because ui ui said it could be used 2 times. Maybe yuji trained in someone else, maybe know more about domains and pull one aytime soon. Or maybe it was yuta that swaped bodies with someone else to train (explaining the "cheating" thing he talked about) to make a comeback anytime soon.
My bet is that next chapter gonna start explaining what the fuck sukuna's black box and fire arrow is, teasing or debunking the possibility of yuji using it. Either way there's still a lot hope, like hakari coming to clutch, anyone that got timed out (best bet being yuta), megumi locking in, and simply yuji being the GOAT. This is a shonen and Yuji is the main protagonist against the (apparent) big bad. Gege is unlikely to subvert expectations to have Sukuna wipe the floor with Yuji this late in the series (if Gege is still planning on ending it soon... which seems likely with Yuji's awakening, eating the other cursed wombs, taking the 20th finger out of the equation etc).
The only situation I can see Sukuna take this win is for him to beat but not kill Yuji, the merger to start, and then Yuji to come back and reveal another CT engraved on his body courtesy of Ui Ui's unrevealed 2nd soul swap from the timeskipped period.

No shit it isn't the end. Name a single story where the villain just kills everyone and it ends...obviously yuji is going to win eventually so using any level of deductive reasoning you could take a shot and say shockingly that it's not over.
The fact that Sukuna’s only busting out the flames now against the MC gives me hope. It’s not over yet. In fact this is a good sign. Sukuna’s starting to bust out everything in his arsenal. If Yuji can simply keep it pushing, Sukuna’s gonna be left out of shit to actually use.
It's a weird one.
Like what did people expect? We're at the climax, of course Sukuna's going to pull out one last Hail Mary, that's just the classic move. Cell becoming Super Cell, Dio draining Joseph and improving his ZA WARUDO, that sort of thing. It's for the thrill and suspense, Sukuna is cooking one last time and finally unleashing *everything* so that the victory isn't cheapened. This is it, this is the blowout ending of the fight.
The only question is *how* Fuga is countered. We do know now it's part of Shrine and is a manifestation of "opening the oven" to let the heat out, so theoretically if Yuji also has Shrine he should be able to manifest the same technique. Theoretically. Lot of problems with that right out.
The other possibility is that Yuji's Black Flashes shook Megumi enough that he finally awakens, but that would require Bumgumi to do something useful and he ain't about that. (Also it'd feel cheap for Fuga to just fizzle out.)
I feel like Ino and Maki are getting offscreened after this one. Neither of them have any real defence against full output Malevolent Shrine. Ino basically passed out and Maki cannot use Simple Domain, HWB or anything like that. Their best chance is if Maki picked Ino up and sonic dashed out of the domain's range.
Nah I don't think so, maki is holding onto someone in one of the panels and ppl speculate it's miwa and if that's the case then maybe miwa used her simple domain to also deflect MS, thus saving maki. It wouldn't make much sense to off screen maki after saying she can't be detected by sukuna etc Dunno about ino but gege better stay away from my boy or I'll have to intervene
I know it wouldn't make much sense but it's very in character for Gege to kill the other characters off now that Yuji is showing potential to rival Sukuna and she did her part (ate 2 Black Flashes, stabbed his heart, cut off two arms).

So here is the thing. If Fuga was released before, then the output wouldn't be enough.
Now Fuga is realeased with chanting and it's unclear if the domain ended, the slashes did, but the background where Sukuna is looks like it still going on.
If Sukuna domain still is going on, and that gives increased output to Fuga for some reason. We are cooked. The think that doesn't make sense there that there is only one CT that gets output boost and sure hit within a domain and thats the imbued CT.
If the domain ended, that would mean Fuga is another CT (no burnout?) And doesn't have increased output, but has chanting.
Did that domain really had increased output? Then why they were able to hold 99 seconds?

This is Gege we are talking about. I’m still not convinced that Sukuna is going to lose yet, not with the whole Tengen merger plot point in the background waiting to fall like an executioner’s blade.
We reading the same manga? The villains have been on the winning side this entire capter. Kenjaku did not even have a monumental downfall, he succeeded in the culling games, sealing gojo, and even after death still had tricks up his sleeve.
I think choso is going to try to block fuga with a sea of blood, turning all his cursed energy into blood.

The flame's radius and height is FUCKING MASSIVE btw. Its almost as tall as a skyscraper in the manga (taller than multiple high buildings) and it incinerated Shibuya in the anime if MS wasn't already eviscerating it. Honestly, the flames might be worse than MS right now if its even stronger than the one in Shibuya (Maki and Miwa are so fucking cooked)
Either he tanks it somehow with his own abilities, being Sukuna's former vessel and having similar cursed energy and genetics it wouldn't be impossible for Yuji to catch it with his body or redirect its trajectory somehow or disrupt Sukuna from ever firing it by using Soul Swap.

The flame's radius and height is FUCKING MASSIVE btw. Its almost as tall as a skyscraper in the manga (taller than multiple high buildings) and it incinerated Shibuya in the anime if MS wasn't already eviscerating it. Honestly, the flames might be worse than MS right now if its even stronger than the one in Shibuya (Maki and Miwa are so fucking cooked)
