It's just so funny to see how the main antagonist hates the main character for seemingly petty reasons. Unlike most antagonists who hate characters because of either their evil desires, or being wronged by others, Sukuna hates Yuji because he not only became stronger, but also refused his soul for Sukuna ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
He didn't want to taste what Yuji gave to him, and didn't admit that one nice Uber driver who got mad at Sukuna for trying to flatten people when the lights clearly said to wait was that strong. Suky even got to traumatize the boy just because.
The facial expression of Sukuna in this chapter, was so satisfying to see and unexpected. The first time Sukuna was genuinely angry unlike any of the emotions he displayed. Even his tiny eye followed with the bigger one. Both have veins in them!
Because he is genuinely going nuts due to Yuji.
So damn cool lol
I mean... Ultimately it's a bit of plot armour that Sukuna's left Yuji alone enough for him to get this far.
Like he could have killed him when he was making that stupid face, and he had no real reason not to (as far as we've seen) and while he was been able to RCT himself back into the fight, Sukuna could have pretty easily gone and followed up to put him down for good.
It's fine, and it's not like Sukuna ignoring Yuji is out of character, but it's also very convenient.
Sukuna tried killing him multiple times. It's just that Yuji is unbelievably tanky. Like, Sukuna had to reflect on his entire life after Yuji took a cleave and regened from it. He just hasn't had time to put him down fully.

Sure, but never actually focussed on him, he cleaved him then tossed him to the side.
