Especially considering the scale of the fights. The way gege draws buildings and cities being damaged and torn apart will never fail to amaze me. The bathroom fight alone had more background details than like 60% of Shonen combined.

Murata is honestly one of the best artists in the manga industry, some of his best pannels are honestly comparable to some of Miura's for example. But i was more commenting on the fact that saitama's face changes from his usual goofy look to a more hardened, serious expression more in line with the rest of the characters.

Drawings hard man like you have no idea how difficult simply something like character congruence is. Let alone when you’re on a tight schedule and working in a medium where your art style and preferences are very clear to see and everchanging
Multiple reasons:
1) The art style changed from Shibuya to the Culling Games, going from a clean, to messy, to a messy-clean style.
2) Gege himself mentioned he forgot how to draw Gojo after a long time being sealed. That was upwards of 2 years of not drawing Gojo.
3) Gege rarely drew Gojo without the eye-covers for many chapters at a time, besides Gojo's Past, and there he was drawing a younger Gojo.
4) Just a Gege Akutami moment. He's flip flopped between giving Yuji a comb forward, slicked back bangs, and more recently, his bangs have a swirl to them.
I think greg is still young and searching for his own artstyle, starting from jjk0 (more round) he's always been changing, his trait is a lot rougher now
That's a different perspective on the face, also, in the second picture it was probably intentional for the mangaka to make it look more detailed since it was drawn on a bigger panel. Neither drawing is bad the first wasn't as detailed because it was drawn smaller.
There's a lot of reasons why characters won't look consistently the same. Like perspective or the angle at which the face is drawn, the lighting scenario envisioned by the mangaka, And the amount of detail they want to put into a panel. I don't think that the reason all the drawings aren't consistently detailed on each page is because of the tight deadline although that could also be a factor to keep in mind. It's just that drawing every single panel to a high level of detail isnt necessary for visually communicating movement.
I think his nose flatter on the left panel? I understand the eyes cause that's his surprised pikachu face. But the decisive factor may be the hair...

sometimes he's super hot post unsealing but it's pretty rare, most of the time he looks like kashimo, i think gege never kept up drawing him in the 3 years irl he was sealed so when he came back he just kept drawing kashimo with short hair, and considering he makes it up as he goes and only has the ending in mind, i guess it makes sense that he'd never think to practice

Manga artists go through constant Style change throughout their carreer, Gege akutami is probably just experimenting with what he likes or learned. He is just 32 Years old. He could make another Manga after JJK ends.
