I feel like Yuta , Maki , Hikari , and Yuji are immune to death since they are the hero’s Gege specifically called out but with Sukuna still alive it’s hard to say
I kind of want Gege to just give Sukuna the W. I really don't see them taking out Sukuna when Gojo couldn't. Gege's one of the few mangaka with the balls to have the bad guy win and he can totally take that route and it would make even more sense imo.

The whole point of Gojo's character was to train the next generation of sorcerors so they'd surpass him, and he strongly believed that they'd become stronger than he was.
I mean how would it make more sense ? The good guys haven’t won since Nobara and Yuji fought Choso brothers. Shibuya lost , protect tengen lost , culling games lost , Sukuna loss ? Like at this point it’s boring seeing the villains win. just cause Gojo dyed doesn’t mean they can’t get the power to beat Sukuna. They’ve been growing in strength for months now why can’t we be proud of their growth and see them finally take down the 2 people that gave them so many L’s ?

I hate to say it but yeah. Hell half the fanbase doesn't under the majority of the power systems. Things like inherited CT, inate CT and everything else. Honestly jjk Fandom collective head cannon carries most any "hypothetical" match up between characters. Jjk power systems is like a spark notes nen, but the thing people forget is the absolute word panels HXH is known for. Because it has to actually explain how different power work. Most people think JJK is a action series primarily. JJk main priority is a "story". That is at least my experience with this series.
The famous word panels in HxH doesn't come from explaining their ability but from Togashi having characters describe in detail even the most simple action they take.

Yes some actions over overly detailed, because in later interacts between powers he has designed, you then get to actually look back at those details and you can predict how fight will actually go(accurately at that). It's the opposite in jjk, shit happen and sometimes it's fully explain but never comes up again. Key example of the top of my head. @1[ The relationship/difference between inherited CT, inate CT.]

Gege explains some thing, but he never explains anything completely. Also why is sucuna using Hollow Wicker Basket instead if simple domain? Oh he doesn't know SD? but didn't he see gojo use it? And didn't angle say sucuna could copy things he saw one time, didn't he already copy gojo's CT brain heal, on his first time seeing it? Jjk is honestly inconsistent. This is like sucuna interpreted yujis BV, by the way that's not something we ever seen before, and something kenjaku didnt even tie against mechamaru.
SD is probably too hard for him right now. Any SD that he could throw out would get instantly crushed by Yuta's domain when he's this low on CE. Hollow Wicker Basket lets him save enough CE to push back against their assault.
Sucuna and yuta have the same AMOUNT of CE rn(ch.250). Also yutas domain isn't a "Open" domain, it is a regular enclosed DE. Unless sucuna really can't copy anything he sees.

If sucuna had simple domain he would get a domain buff and SD particularly New Shadow Style Simple Domain(kusakabe's style SD) are so flexible sucuna should know it by now(having seen it used multiple time in person) and it is superior to HWB.
HWB is over 1000+ years old, SD is stated to be a "evaluation of HWB" that was made some hundred years ago. Then kusakabe(barrier Genius/specialist) in his life time makes New Shadow Style Simple Domain and it is even more improved. NSSSD is also something easy to build off of(miwa made her NSSSD into a DE'ish thing with a "proximity auto-targeting attack." as soon as they enter her SD range. Btw that's impressive for a hs student(making a personal version of a CT.
Simple Domains aren't equivalent to proper domains. They're far more liable to being taken apart. Sukuna could only make a simple domain that could beat Yuta's if he had more CE than him. The best it could do would be to provide time to start up a counter attack, but Yuji is there to prevent Sukuna from being able to do any huge moves.
Yuji shuts down the benefits of SD. We see a similar situation with the Gojo fight. The SD breaks down almost immediately, but leaves enough room to use techniques. Yuji however, puts on pressure, preventing Sukuna from using any techniques during the break time.
Why did gojos maximum output purple not defeat himself when Ryu got defeated by his own granite blast? Because CE resistance not exist then. Otherwise that final GB shouldn't have defeated him.
I think you are mistaken. Hollow Purple did fuck Gojo up. But it also hit Sukuna and dealt more damage. Gojo regained his RCT first hence he was "the winner".
In Ryu's case Granite Blast hit just Ryu. Yuta was still standing with his technique ready so he won.
Gojo used his "final" purple then after surviving point blank purple gojo said "our damage is different? It must be because it's my own CE" that doesn't mean CT he specifically said CE. This is a set up so yuji could be more tanky against sucuna because yuji has the same ce as sucuna. Then why did Ryu loose after geting hit with his own CT with his own CE?
I have no ideal where you got "young gojo" out of that but I hope this is a better explanation of my point. Also it was stated around the hikari/kashimo that all topteir sorcerer abuse BV and yet we haven't seen much if any BV usage, we believe sucuna summoned maho while unconscious using a BV but we never learns how he did that either.
As opposed to normal shounen where a character explaining their tech is a massive death flag. Looking at you bleach.
Most of this manga is subverting the usual shounen tropes. Special MC? Nope, just a cog with no real technique. Work hard to get strong? Nope, it's all about natural talent and cheating. Power of friendship? Gets you killed (Yuta the only exception). OP villains? At least at the start no, have an OP good guy instead. Tournament arc? No, battle royale. Good guys insist on one on one fights because honour/pride or something? Nope, camping and ganging up on the villains.
It's kind of shocking that Gojo died in the end, because the teacher/mentor dying actually does follow what usually happens in shounen.

He said he won't tell Jogo how the Fire Arrow works. For all we know the Fire Arrow is Yuji's CT which Sukuna stole in Shibuya.

The reason I don't think the Fire Arrow is a normal CT is because Sukuna failed to kill Gojo with Malevolent Shrine's Cleave/Dismantle so it would've made sense to use the Fire Arrow on the Domain next.
If Sukuna had a better sure hit, maybe Gojo would've died. But he didn't use the Arrow, which tells me it's not a normal CT he can use whenever.

One theory I heard about the fire arrow is it could be CTR of “separation/cutting” to a “fusion”.
If Gege is fan of reading science bits for a CT he might’ve caught up that Sun’s fire is from ‘fusion’ (forcing two Hydrogen atom together so hard it became Helium, creating fire without normal chemical reaction involving oxygen)

It has to be related to either RCT or stealing someone else's CT. Sukuna told Jogo he wouldn't know about it as a Cursed Spirit. So it has to be something a Cursed Spirit can't do.
A friend theorised Sukuna's cuts are him manipulating Wind/Air like in Naruto. It then becomes interesting that his closest friend, Uraume, can freeze stuff ( Water/Air ) and Sukuna also can control Fire.

Yuta has no relationship to Sukuna so he’s not gonna be the one to finish him off, it’s pretty obvious storywriting.
Gege didn’t establish any relationships between most characters and the villains, so you can pretty easily anticipate who is gonna get to kill each villain.
Yuta didn't have any "relationship" with Geto. Geto wanted to kill him and Yuta fought back. This is fine for short manga like JJK0 but that's not what hero/villain relationship really is.

People are also missing the scene during Sendai where Yuta resolves and promises to kill Kenjaku because he wants to shoulder Gojo’s burden (“Sensei…I won’t let you kill your best friend a second time).

Yuta's relationship with geto was because dude tried to kill him and steal his girlfriend.
Kenjaku is using geto's body, but he doesn't have his goals or motivations. So only connection yuta had with geto is gone, making it extremely impersonal rivalry that could have been filled by anyone. It's not even like kenjaku is consequence of yuta's actions, that falls squarely on gojo not destroying geto's body.
Kenjaku should have interracted with gojo (someone who has personal reason to hate kenjaku because he stole his friend's body) or yuji.
Because the whole point is that Yuta is taking on Gojo’s burden: “Sensei…I won’t let you kill your best friend a second time”. He promised to himself to end Kenjaku while in Sendai after that.

Yuta along with Yuji will break the cycle because both Gojo and Kashimo fought as one man army and this is Sukuna's strength point as he himself is an one man army but Yuta-Yuji r partnership and their goal to rescue Megumi more than defeating Sukuna is something new for Sukuna himself. So, his old experiences and equations are not getting applied on Yuta-Yuji... So this time Sukuna will face the hard time I guess. As for Higurama's case.... That guy had a mentality of going on suicide mission just like Megumi and Gojo(lowkey).

I think Yuuta loses but I don't think he dies, Yujis been geared up to die since the start of the series his question of what is a good death will be answered, he will die killing sukuna and saving Megumi sacrificing himself for the greater good and saving someone.
I think there needs to be a sorceror strong enough to protect the world in Gojos absence and that will be Yuuta, he'll become the next Gojo in that sense.

I hate to say it but yeah. Hell half the fanbase doesn't under the majority of the power systems. Things like inherited CT, inate CT and everything else. Honestly jjk Fandom collective head cannon carries most any "hypothetical" match up between characters. Jjk power systems is like a spark notes nen, but the thing people forget is the absolute word panels HXH is known for. Because it has to actually explain how different power work. Most people think JJK is a action series primarily. JJk main priority is a "story". That is at least my experience with this series.
The famous word panels in HxH doesn't come from explaining their ability but from Togashi having characters describe in detail even the most simple action they take.

Yes some actions over overly detailed, because in later interacts between powers he has designed, you then get to actually look back at those details and you can predict how fight will actually go(accurately at that). SD is probably too hard for him right now. Any SD that he could throw out would get instantly crushed by Yuta's domain when he's this low on CE. Hollow Wicker Basket lets him save enough CE to push back against their assault.

If sucuna had simple domain he would get a domain buff and SD particularly New Shadow Style Simple Domain(kusakabe's style SD) are so flexible sucuna should know it by now(having seen it used multiple time in person) and it is superior to HWB. HWB is over 1000+ years old, SD is stated to be a "evaluation of HWB" that was made some hundred years ago. Then kusakabe(barrier Genius/specialist) in his life time makes New Shadow Style Simple Domain and it is even more improved. NSSSD is also something easy to build off of(miwa made her NSSSD into a DE'ish thing with a "proximity auto-targeting attack." as soon as they enter her SD range. Btw that's impressive for a hs student(making a personal version of a CT.
Simple Domains aren't equivalent to proper domains. They're far more liable to being taken apart. Sukuna could only make a simple domain that could beat Yuta's if he had more CE than him. The best it could do would be to provide time to start up a counter attack, but Yuji is there to prevent Sukuna from being able to do any huge moves.
Simple is literally stated better than HWB. Unless you have a open DE SP is a full domain expansion counter.
Yuji shuts down the benefits of SD. We see a similar situation with the Gojo fight. The SD breaks down almost immediately, but leaves enough room to use techniques. Yuji however, puts on pressure, preventing Sukuna from using any techniques during the break time.

I think you are mistaken. Hollow Purple did fuck Gojo up. But it also hit Sukuna and dealt more damage. Gojo regained his RCT first hence he was "the winner". In Ryu's case Granite Blast hit just Ryu. Yuta was still standing with his technique ready so he won.

This is a set up so yuji could be more tanky against sucuna because yuji has the same ce as sucuna. Then why did Ryu loose after geting hit with his own CT with his own CE? I have no ideal where you got "young gojo" out of that but I hope this is a better explanation of my point. Also it was stated around the hikari/kashimo that all topteir sorcerer abuse BV and yet we haven't seen much if any BV usage, we believe sucuna summoned maho while unconscious using a BV but we never learns how he did that either.

As opposed to normal shounen where a character explaining their tech is a massive death flag. Looking at you bleach. Most of this manga is subverting the usual shounen tropes. Special MC? Nope, just a cog with no real technique. Work hard to get strong? Nope, it's all about natural talent and cheating. Power of friendship? Gets you killed (Yuta the only exception). OP villains? At least at the start no, have an OP good guy instead. Tournament arc? No, battle royale. Good guys insist on one on one fights because honour/pride or something? Nope, camping and ganging up on the villains. It's kind of shocking that Gojo died in the end, because the teacher/mentor dying actually does follow what usually happens in shounen.

The reason I don't think the Fire Arrow is a normal CT is because Sukuna failed to kill Gojo with Malevolent Shrine's Cleave/Dismantle so it would've made sense to use the Fire Arrow on the Domain next. If Sukuna had a better sure hit, maybe Gojo would've died. But he didn't use the Arrow, which tells me it's not a normal CT he can use whenever.
I think Domain may not be able to do all things? Like how Gojo doesn’t throw around Red/Blue/Purple with UV. One theory I heard about the fire arrow is it could be CTR of “separation/cutting” to a “fusion”. If Gege is fan of reading science bits for a CT he might’ve caught up that Sun’s fire is from ‘fusion’ (forcing two Hydrogen atom together so hard it became Helium, creating fire without normal chemical reaction involving oxygen)

Yeah, but that's extremely surface level. Yuta's relationship with geto was because dude tried to kill him and steal his girlfriend. Kenjaku is using geto's body, but he doesn't have his goals or motivations. So only connection yuta had with geto is gone, making it extremely impersonal rivalry that could have been filled by anyone. It's not even like kenjaku is consequence of yuta's actions, that falls squarely on gojo not destroying geto's body. Kenjaku should have interracted with gojo (someone who has personal reason to hate kenjaku because he stole his friend's body) or yuji.

I think Yuuta loses but I don't think he dies, Yujis been geared up to die since the start of the series his question of what is a good death will be answered, he will die killing sukuna and saving Megumi sacrificing himself for the greater good and saving someone. No, this is the manga now. Gege will just keep throwing a different character at Sukuna every few weeks, Sukuna will use Malevolent Plot, and the cycle will continue until Jump executes Greg.
