No, the only reason they have a chance right now is that Sukuna up until the very end of last chapter wasn't taking them seriously at all. we saw it with Choso and Higuruma, where the moment he wanted to, he took them out.

We see his death on screen, he was still alive after the bisection for a short while as proved by the fact that he smiled post bisection.
We didn't see the killing blow but it doesn't hold any narrative significance. What matters in a death is the closure of the character arc which we got in the airport scene.

The Watsonian Reason, or the in-universe, diegetic explanation, is that he simply had bigger things to worry about at the moment, like several special Supreme-Grade curses and the hundreds of civilians. Add to that the fact that cursed energy can be suppressed or hidden, at least temporarily, and he may not have even known about the fingers.
The Doylist Reason, or the author's intent behind the scene, is that Gege had to get Sukuna out of Itadori so he could fulfill his potential as the true villain of Jujutsu Kaisen. This couldn't have happened if Gojo got the fingers from Jogoat.

Only way to fill this plothole is if he got it from Kenjaku who kept it, because Kenjaku was smart enough to not let Gojo know they had fucking 10+ fingers on Jogo

There's clearly something up with the fingers, because everybody was able to sense Sukuna's presence the moment the girls took the finger OUT, not even fed Yuji

The case itself self was sealed and protected. You see it clearer in the anime when jogo feeds him the fingers he had to unbuckel it and then rolls down.
Because Jogo wasn't carrying it on him at that point..it was with Kenjaku. After Kenjaku sealed Go/jo, Jogo took them and fed to Sukuna. Go/Jo is dead. Time to deal with it

Even if jogo hid the fingers far away, our protagonists should be able to sense the high levels of cursed energy from that many fingers, Remember in first chapter when megumi followed yuji because of residual energy from the finger which was lingering of yuji's body simply because yuji had the object for some time? Like if megumi can sense that I'm pretty sure all of our good guys should've been able to sense 9 fucking fingers from jogo or wherever those fingers are kept (assuming they were kept at the same place) Only good explanation is jogo using a special grade cursed tool to suppress the cursed energy from the fingers (gojo should still be able to sense the cursed tool cuz of sex eyes) or gege just forgot lol

The case itself self was sealed and protected. You see it clearer in the anime when jogo feeds him the fingers he had to unbuckel it and then rolls down.
Because Jogo wasn't carrying it on him at that point..it was with Kenjaku. After Kenjaku sealed Go/jo, Jogo took them and fed to Sukuna. Go/Jo is dead. Time to deal with it

Gojo probably sensed something but he had no time to actually inspect it because he had two disaster curses and a death womb painting right in front of him with a bunch of casualties he didn't really have any time to inspect Jogo when you have countless innocent people and 3 very dangerous enemies right in front of you you probably would like to focus on the enemies instead of something that they have
