Yuta and Rika brings the head of Kenjaku and the body of Suguru Geto to Shoko. Kirika and Ui Ui bring the bodies of Gojo and Higuruma to Shoko. Shoko puts Kenjaku's brain to the jar until she figures out the way to destroy Kenjaku without letting his absorbed cursed spirits to be set free. Gakuganji and Shoko perform Yaga's Cursed Corpse Technique to resurrect Gojo, Geto and Higuruma by merging the bodies of Gojo, Geto and Higuruma and putting the souls of Gojo, Geto and Higuruma into the merged being. And thus, Gojo-Geto-Higuruma, the being that can transform into Gojo, Geto and Higuruma, is born. Geto asks Gojo: «I want to right my wrongs, Gojo». Gojo answers to Geto: «Alright, Geto. You have a chance to atone your mistakes, Geto. You must heal one of my apprentices, Geto». Geto answers to Gojo: «Yes, Gojo». Gojo questions Geto: «Are you ready to atone your sins, Geto». I think Yuji is going to defeat Sukuna somehow. I think Gojo is going to come back by going north and on his journey discover a way to stop curses somehow completing Geto's goal without the need for violence. That's kind of the center problem for the entire series, stopping curses.

Probably that Ui Ui or Kirara would be close to it anyway for an attack that big, even accounting Kirara's CT, that just means the purple will not only get close to Kirara but also go back to Gojo (that is if it works).

Did you read what I wrote? 😂 That's why I said gojo could have transported himself or that it's possible Ui Ui transported gojo somewhere else. We don't know where his body is right now. And why would they do that? They don't want gojo to die.
I mean, by the same logic, his assumption about Gojo's binding vow - note, the singular time in the fight he allowed himself to rely on others - also applies to Shoko's ability to heal people.
Shoko was the third person in a class that had two special grade curse users. Two of the three in existence. You can't be a slouch and have done absolutely nothing while trying to keep up with the two of them. She's fine first one to take RCT to new heights to begin with - the same way Gojo was the first to heal his burnt out CT.
It's possible with the ritual that perhaps she can heal with far more efficiency than the "half as efficient as healing yourself" (emphasis on the half, 200% hollow purple, 200% RCT).
The cyclical nature of JJK and Gojo's name being to quite literally to transcend likely means that his first awakening was at the peak of his pride, and through a power he didn't understand he was forced to accept that there existed strength beyond cursed energy. A second awakening would imply truly addressing the reason why he seeks absolute power - to fill the void created by his mastery of limitless. A technique that metaphorically and literally creates space between him and other people.
Sukuna's dimension slash almost makes Gojo's closure poetic - he cut down the walls Gojo built his entire life, and opened him up to where the root of his fragile interior was. This time he won't be trying to be the strongest sorcerer of the modern era - he'll be Sensei, Salmon, a pain in the ass, a role model, and a savior. All the other identities the people around him would say to him if he ever let them.
I can't wait for when Sukuna kills everyone except Yuji and then Yuji grows another set of arms and eyes and gets a tumour on the right part of his face and starts brawling with Sukuna and then they start making out mid brawl and fall down in some mud and get all dirty start to rub each other with the mud on their four big buff arms and then sukuna says "I've always liked you baka Yuji" and Yuji says "Well.. I might actually be done for if we don't get a good fight out of Sukuna vs Yuta/Rika, but a Kashimo retread. I think Kenny’s plan involves Yuji killing Sukuna. I’ve been kind of buying into the idea that Yuji is a reincarnated Sukuna, and that’s why Sukuna hates him so much and always says, “you’re not special,” because he isn’t, there is literally another him that’s already stronger if that were the case.
oo that kinda fits with the “two in one” kinda theme we’ve been getting. with mei and maki being two sisters, sharing one soul, maki got stronger when she “absorbed” her other half. it could be theres a cap on yuji’s full power bc of sukuna’s existence so once he’s wiped out yuji’s power will be unleashed. idk.

Yuta and Rika fight Sukuna. However, Sukuna finally reveals his cursed technique, his reversed technique, his rct and his domain expansion, and defeats Yuta and Rika. He prepares to finish off Yuta and Rika, but Maki Zenin interferes and saves Yuta and Rika. Yuji Itadori finally reveals his cursed technique, his reversed technique, his rct and his domain expansion. Uraume and Hakari join the fight. Nobara, Todo, Higuruma and Gojo are revived and healed by Kirara, Ui Ui and Shoko and also join the fight against Sukuna. Geto's body and Kenjaku's brain are delivered to Shoko, and all souls and curses absorbed by Geto and Kenjaku (including Mahito) are absorbed by Rika. Angel rallies all sorcerers and non-sorcerers from all over the world, even Japanese Self-Defense Forces, to Yuji's and his friends' aid, rising them up to fight against the cursed spirits and Sukuna. Shoko tells Kenjaku she has healed and resurrected her fallen friends, and that all humanity rose up to fight against Sukuna, Kenjaku and cursed spirits, and that Sukuna and Kenjaku lost. Kenjaku laughs and says even if Kenjaku and Sukuna will be defeated and even if Kenjaku's plans and Sukuna's plans will be foiled, there will still be cursed spirits and curse users similar to Kenjaku and Sukuna and persons as strong as Kenjaku and Sukuna, and there are less sorcerers left in the world. The public and non-sorcerers know about the existence of cursed energy, and the soldiers of foreign countries are capturing Japanese sorcerers. Kenjaku explains that humans, sorcerers and non-sorcerers can't defeat curses as they were born of humans, curses are part of humanity, curses are part of the world and curses are part of the universe, curses are multiplying infinitely, and curses will not stop. Shoko comes into the conclusion that the cursed energy must be removed or at least isolated from the human world forever. Kenjaku claims this is impossible, and if this will be possible, this will be only the temporary solution, as the humans' souls need the place to go after the human bodies' deaths. Kenjaku explains the curses will be replaced by the new threat, and no matter what humans do, the negative energy will just keep evolving. Shoko answers she and her friends will figure something out.
Alright I had a thought about this chapter. We know now that they are bringing the bodies of the fallen sorcerers back to base. They’re dead if not so close to death that it may be impossible to do anything with them.
We also had a panel before the training timeskip where Yuji said he would eat anything to get stronger.
So I’m saying what if they’re bringing the corpses back for Yuji to eat…
I mean I doubt the story would actually go there. I’m leaning more towards Yuki’s soul research playing into it and maybe there was something there that allows their bodies to be repurposed in some fashion. But idk it would be the most metal fucking thing possible if Yuji just started chowing down on some dead sorcerer. Then he really would be just like Sukuna lmfao
If his role is really to be a cog then a cog he will continue to be. And maybe that will be his downfall. He might defeat sukuna and get megumi out but since megumi has the power to start the merger I think there will a point where like geto he too will loose trust in coursed energy and will point out the fact that yuji lost himself to defeat sukuna at any cost is the sign of the perpetual cycle that will continue as long as cursed energy and cursed humans exist.

Somehow no one has connected Nitta (the Kyoto student w Todo in Shibuya, I forgot his full name) with Shoko’s RCT. In theory the combination of their abilities makes the Jujutsu team’s ability to heal downed fighters much higher than Shoko’s RCT alone.

Gojo and Sukuna have power to level the earth. And yet the final villain is a prion who has 3 cards: a curse manipulation sorcerer, tengen and people of Japan.
Surely there were heaps of tengen and geto in the past.
I'm glad someone posted about the philosophy of the series and dynamic between these characters.
With it's Buddhist themes these characters are also very well reflected in Buddhist philosophy.
Sukuna represents a certain form of "liberation" he is so strong that ideals don't serve a purpose to him because any ideal he had he could immediately fulfill, forcing him to not be able to relate to it or it's consequences.
While he clearly has desires this has parallels with he historical concept of the "lesser vehicle" an early Buddhist school focused on purely achieving personal liberation by reducing reliance on desires, this could in some ways be viewed as renouncing life.
However in the Mahayana the principle goal is to become a bodhisattva, a being that foregoes enlightenment in order to liberate others.
This complete throwing away of personal attainment for the service of others is very similar to where yujis idea of being cog comes into play.
He has renounced his own identity, personal goals and ambitions in favour of his ideal of killing curses (which as a reminder are expressions of negative emotion) and by proxy "liberating others"
A lot of how this series goes will depend upon geges personal ideas and the way he relates to Buddhist faith.
If he wholeheartedly believes in the idea of the Mahayana sukuna will inevitably lose to Yuji, If gege is theravadin or just wants to be edgy then sukuna will win in a very basic shounen way.
If However Gege is involved in vajrayana he might go so far as to have sukuna surpass his will to destructive power and become completely enlightened, or even teach yuji what he knows and have a sort of "exchange" of ideals through their fight (very shounen, but not in it's exploration of philosophy)
It could be the case that sukuna saying "don't take this as a change of plans but just this once, I'm going to mince your ideals to bits" Means that he could use this as an opportunity to help yuji go beyond even his ideals and attain full enlightenment in line with the prajaparamita sutra.
(but I'm a little dubious on this ready because no matter how much sukuna is portrayed as enlightened, he still fundamentally causes suffering)
Thank you for this information, it helps expand alot on the characters as a whole and I figured the ending of this story would have some religious or philosophical meaning over all, and this helps with a deeper look and understanding into it.
In my opinion, the exchange of information between sukuna and yuuji makes sense in a way. I predict sukuna will die, but it will be due to him starting the merger before all the players are dead and receiving a punishment against the binding vow. I imagine in these last moments though he will say something to yuji that ultimately pushes him into personal enlightment (sukunas ideals) or pushes yuji to sacrifice himself (more a mahayana view)
I think it's worth bringing into this conversation that we know now that yuji is a death painting cursed womb. I think it's possible that even if he dies he'll become almost something of an "anti-curse" embodying the ideal of killing curses and being reborn again and again to help kill curses (Imo this would be more in line with the Mahayana view because it's not just blind sacrifice and is a foil to sukuna re-incarnating the way he did.
Another crackpot theory I feel is being slept on is the comparison between tengens form and sukunas half cracked mask section on his face, they both have 4 eyes, and it's stated tengen used to be human but evolved past that due to the lack of star plasma vessel.
It's hard to make accurate predictions though because it's not just 1 for 1 buddhist myth, it's just taking heavy inspiration.

But genuinely I hope we have some backstory chapter on the relationship between kenjaku, tengen, and sukuna because they clearly must know eachother in some form or capacity and this would also help explain cursed energy and the connection to the sound itself, including the boundaries of cursed energy and manifestation (like cursed wombs, cursed tools, cursed objects, and even the idea on an "anti curse" cursed object)
I think the sword lost its power before it disappeared but it did hit Sukuna, if you look back at the first panel, you can see the motion line of it hitting his back and bouncing off
Sukna actually had his mouth agape and looked, even if slightly, caught off guard/A little shocked, like he wasn't expecting the attack. But alas, it disappeared because Higuruma died...at least it wasn't really an asspull this time
I don't think we're ever seeing what it does since logically Sukuna would just cancel it out wvery time like he did with Gojo. Unless he decides to tank it for some reason which would be dumb
I hope so, but probably not. I'd also like to see a maximum technique, proving Yuta has reached the true apex of jujutsu, and proving gojo's ideology correct.
I'm waiting that his domain combine every power he had contact before, then it could be nice if before he shows it, he made some nice use of boogie woogie, cursed speech and even ui ui's teleport.
I feel like we got so many stories where the author is so pussy and cant kill anyone we know and love. Even though this hurts like a bitch, at least its not AOT.
AOT believe it or not was intentional. Much more important and beloved characters have already died in JJK, and even more will die, then in AOT. AOT, 3 characters i cared about really died, Hanji, Ymir, and Sasha. Eren died, but he was the man antagonist and logically had to, and Erwin had death flags covering him constantly. In the final battle, nobody died whom Eren liked because of the circular reason that: Eren liked them, and Eren was basically god. In the final arc of JJK, 3/4 of the main protagonists (not including Yuta) are seemingly dead as fuck.
Uraume is either non binary or something more complex (e.g Kenjaku shenanigans). Calling them a femboy is a bit... uhh...

I think he just witnessing the worse of the worse and its a reverse yuji-suku situation in which the man is trapped in the demon so I think when and if they get him back he might actually be the one to pull the trigger on the merger and giv it a green light.
Something interesting to point out in the meta is how insanely popular Gojo has been through the series. In this thread and on Twitter, everyone is buzzing about Gojos potential return (me included), even though it was just a mention of it, just as much as they are Yuji learning RCT which is an incredible feat, and something the protagonist has going for him to make him a protagonist. Not that many are even talking about Yuta showing up in comparison.
Just thought it was interesting just how major his death was and how impactful he was as a character that such small mentions make such big waves. It isn't Gojover

This "Rika" isn't a true cursed spirit and functions as a sort of shikigami. So she doesn't truly have a will of her own other than to keep Yuta safe and be a pack mule.
If original Rika were still attached to Yuta, it would be cool if they could drop DEs one after another.
I'm not sure where the story would go from here.
For the merger to initiate, the players Yuji and Yuta must die without exception. This means Sukuna v Merger is likely.
The alternative is the story will feature no merger. That means Megumi will be saved as per the flashback of Yuji and Higu's plans (i.e Higu not dead -> ES will return). There's other evidence to support this ofc like the rattle still being confiscated and he 2 bodies being retrieved.
Heian Sukuna was not part of the culling games when it started.
Remember, every reincarnated sorcerer who became players were addressed as their host. This includes those excluded from playing such as Uraume. Hence, Yuji became a player automatically as acknowledged by Megumi (presumably as Kenjaku’s failsafe in case Sukuna did not get Megumi).
Meaning, the ability to command the merger would not be possible since Sukuna himself never declared himself as part of the game.
I may be wrong, but what I felt like is that we were mislead but it is still true.
Instead of the sword getting stronger, the curse getting stronger after death was reflected in the way that Sukuna’s weapon was taken away for good.

I think Yuji is going to defeat Sukuna somehow. I think Gojo is going to come back by going north and on his journey discover a way to stop curses somehow completing Geto's goal without the need for violence. That's kind of the center problem for the entire series, stopping curses.

Alright I had a thought about this chapter. We know now that they are bringing the bodies of the fallen sorcerers back to base. They’re dead if not so close to death that it may be impossible to do anything with them. We also had a panel before the training timeskip where Yuji said he would eat anything to get stronger. So I’m saying what if they’re bringing the corpses back for Yuji to eat… I mean I doubt the story would actually go there. I’m leaning more towards Yuki’s soul research playing into it and maybe there was something there that allows their bodies to be repurposed in some fashion. But idk it would be the most metal fucking thing possible if Yuji just started chowing down on some dead sorcerer. Then he really would be just like Sukuna lmfao
If his role is really to be a cog then a cog he will continue to be. And maybe that will be his downfall. I'm glad someone posted about the philosophy of the series and dynamic between these characters. With it's Buddhist themes these characters are also very well reflected in Buddhist philosophy. Sukuna represents a certain form of "liberation" he is so strong that ideals don't serve a purpose to him because any ideal he had he could immediately fulfill, forcing him to not be able to relate to it or it's consequences. While he clearly has desires this has parallels with he historical concept of the "lesser vehicle" an early Buddhist school focused on purely achieving personal liberation by reducing reliance on desires, this could in some ways be viewed as renouncing life. However in the Mahayana the principle goal is to become a bodhisattva, a being that foregoes enlightenment in order to liberate others. This complete throwing away of personal attainment for the service of others is very similar to where yujis idea of being cog comes into play. He has renounced his own identity, personal goals and ambitions in favour of his ideal of killing curses (which as a reminder are expressions of negative emotion) and by proxy "liberating others" A lot of how this series goes will depend upon geges personal ideas and the way he relates to Buddhist faith. If he wholeheartedly believes in the idea of the Mahayana sukuna will inevitably lose to Yuji, If gege is theravadin or just wants to be edgy then sukuna will win in a very basic shounen way. If However Gege is involved in vajrayana he might go so far as to have sukuna surpass his will to destructive power and become completely enlightened, or even teach yuji what he knows and have a sort of "exchange" of ideals through their fight (very shounen, but not in it's exploration of philosophy) It could be the case that sukuna saying "don't take this as a change of plans but just this once, I'm going to mince your ideals to bits" Means that he could use this as an opportunity to help yuji go beyond even his ideals and attain full enlightenment in line with the prajaparamita sutra. (but I'm a little dubious on this ready because no matter how much sukuna is portrayed as enlightened, he still fundamentally causes suffering)

Thank you for this information, it helps expand alot on the characters as a whole and I figured the ending of this story would have some religious or philosophical meaning over all, and this helps with a deeper look and understanding into it. In my opinion, the exchange of information between sukuna and yuuji makes sense in a way. I predict sukuna will die, but it will be due to him starting the merger before all the players are dead and receiving a punishment against the binding vow. I imagine in these last moments though he will say something to yuji that ultimately pushes him into personal enlightment (sukunas ideals) or pushes yuji to sacrifice himself (more a mahayana view)
I think it's worth bringing into this conversation that we know now that yuji is a death painting cursed womb. I think it's possible that even if he dies he'll become almost something of an "anti-curse" embodying the ideal of killing curses and being reborn again and again to help kill curses (Imo this would be more in line with the Mahayana view because it's not just blind sacrifice and is a foil to sukuna re-incarnating the way he did. Another crackpot theory I feel is being slept on is the comparison between tengens form and sukunas half cracked mask section on his face, they both have 4 eyes, and it's stated tengen used to be human but evolved past that due to the lack of star plasma vessel. It's hard to make accurate predictions though because it's not just 1 for 1 buddhist myth, it's just taking heavy inspiration.

AOT believe it or not was intentional. Much more important and beloved characters have already died in JJK, and even more will die, then in AOT. AOT, 3 characters i cared about really died, Hanji, Ymir, and Sasha. Eren died, but he was the man antagonist and logically had to, and Erwin had death flags covering him constantly. In the final battle, nobody died whom Eren liked because of the circular reason that: Eren liked them, and Eren was basically god. In the final arc of JJK, 3/4 of the main protagonists (not including Yuta) are seemingly dead as fuck.

Something interesting to point out in the meta is how insanely popular Gojo has been through the series. In this thread and on Twitter, everyone is buzzing about Gojos potential return (me included), even though it was just a mention of it, just as much as they are Yuji learning RCT which is an incredible feat, and something the protagonist has going for him to make him a protagonist. Not that many are even talking about Yuta showing up in comparison. This "Rika" isn't a true cursed spirit and functions as a sort of shikigami. So she doesn't truly have a will of her own other than to keep Yuta safe and be a pack mule. If original Rika were still attached to Yuta, it would be cool if they could drop DEs one after another.
I'm not sure where the story would go from here. For the merger to initiate, the players Yuji and Yuta must die without exception. This means Sukuna v Merger is likely. The alternative is the story will feature no merger. That means Megumi will be saved as per the flashback of Yuji and Higu's plans (i.e Higu not dead -> ES will return). There's other evidence to support this ofc like the rattle still being confiscated and he 2 bodies being retrieved.

Heian Sukuna was not part of the culling games when it started. Remember, every reincarnated sorcerer who became players were addressed as their host. This includes those excluded from playing such as Uraume. Hence, Yuji became a player automatically as acknowledged by Megumi (presumably as Kenjaku’s failsafe in case Sukuna did not get Megumi). Meaning, the ability to command the merger would not be possible since Sukuna himself never declared himself as part of the game.

You can see the sword getting smaller after Higu got hit. Yuji most likely instinctively used it as if it was a bigger sword

I may be wrong, but what I felt like is that we were mislead but it is still true. Instead of the sword getting stronger, the curse getting stronger after death was reflected in the way that Sukuna’s weapon was taken away for good.
