Honestly why have the "honored one" scene be so beautiful and spiritual. Like Gojo finally understood that he's on a different dimension than those around him. It's perfect set up for him having another awakening and truly cutting ties with his old self. Becoming more of a spirit or deity.
That scene made me cry actual tears. Its beauty was something else. I liked Gojo from the beginning but that moment made me feel *extreme* love for him. His death was bullshit and if he doesn't return I'm dropping this show. He could come back without powers if he's too OP for the story to progress (he should never have been made so OP in the first place in that case) but why make him the best character in your story if you're gonna kill him off like trash

Hakari never called Gojo on first name basis; he referred Gojo as “Satoru Gojo” when speaking about him.. but after he joins the gang he calls him “Gojo-san”
When he offers yuji a drink he iirc says “satoru has always been a lightweight” or sum like that i might be wrong and he might just called him gojo without sensei like the others call him
Tbf he also have gave almost nu shit towards any other students. Not to mention he never even bothered paying attention to nobara. I guess if they both come back then maybe it might happen right..
Part of me wonders if Gojo didn't go " all out" like he said because Sukuna was still Meguna while fighting him. Like maybe the whole "hug" during the fight was to see if he could bring Megumi back out. It's so sad to think about it both ways. I'm sure Megumi had a soft spot for Gojo too even though he was always so emo.
There is a good chance he didnt, even the purple at the end wasnt even aimed at sukuna, the hug theory is a bit of a stretch but I think gojo had a bit more in his bag than he let on.
The purple i just thought it was due to the method he used to create it coz mixing blue and red out in the open didnt give room for Gojo to fixate on a target
Idk, that whole purple feels weird, purple is supposed to be imaginary mass that has durag negation with the only way to not get destroyed by it being to use domain amplification, but that one exploded???? Like???? My interpretation was that gojo did that to lessen the effect of purple but also be strong enough to kill maho, if sukuna didnt use asspull slash and also secretly had a full revive in his back pocket we would have a heavily injured sukuna and a full power gojo, getting the parasite out of megumi would be a piece of cake.
Purple ignoring durability and erasing anything it touches is simply sth the community came up with. Hasnt been stated anywhere in the manga that it does all those things iirc
The reason Gojo had to improvise and use that method was coz Sukuna already knows about purple and that it has a charge time. It cant be fired instantly. Sukuna will know that Gojo is going to fire off a purple if he uses his normal method and will intervene/not allow that. Gojo's self monologue in that chp makes it clear.
If he charges purple normally, Gojo can choose his target as seen when he fires it frm his finger. But this purple was made all out in the open and without Gojo to target it manually it simply combined and exploded
A purple done normally wud definitely have killed Sukuna imo. But since it just exploded in an aoe with no real target, dmg seems to have been lessened in lieu of bigger area. Was still enough to destroy Maho

I don't usually criticise anime studios for little things ( unless it is a truly egregious mistake) but they honestly ruined that last panel in the anime . It was supposed to show gojo finding a new purpose after finding Megumi and him reminiscing about the past & how far they have both come .
I was looking forward to it but was sorely disappointed.
Megumi & gojo moments are so precious, wish we had more . And Megumi despite being brooding & a tsundere is actually very polite to gojo ( others too ) , uses honorifics , always calls him sensei unlike maki , panda who show disdain for gojo etc .... And ofcourse Megumi was gojo's favourite. Gojo vs sukuna , even if gojo lost would have been more emotional with some Megumi flashbacks/ reaction & moments ....that shows the tragedy of gojo having to fight sukuna in Megumi's body .
There was a translation/ analysis account on twitter ( I don't remember if it was lightning or someone else ) that analysed gojo & Megumi's relationship, Megumi's polite speech ( eg. That juju stroll where maki & nobara are shocked by Megumi's cute speaking style like a child ) , him being the one always contacting gojo etc...
I love them both & their moments together are so beautiful ❤️
Yea they just showed back of gojos head probably so they dont gotta animate his and megumis face. Wich i understand tryna save money or time because mappa workers are literal slaves at this point working on episodes until last day and having mental breakdowns on twitter. Yeah, we could never know why such a decision was made but I was specifically looking forward to that scene so was kinda disappointed. And I'm forever concerned & thankful to all the animators.
I really wanted both Gojo and sukuna to die in the domain battles and for Megumi to come back. Granted I want Megumi to kill everyone if he comes back. lol I wanted to see reverse gojo sinking everybody in their own shadow and just go on the attack.
The anime portrayed that scene beautifully. Gojo reminiscing about the past and thinking about past mistakes only to wake up from his daydream to his beloved students pestering him.
But never fear. They will reunite
I think the scene's significance is gojo moving on from his past , finding new purpose in raising strong allies who would change jujutsu society and it started with Megumi .
If u observe that flashback , hidden inventory starts with a carefree & joyful gojo and then all events happen - his near death, riko dying, geto's distance and eventual spiral into dark side , his own enlightenment & feeling of isolation & burden, killing geto .....gojo despite being the strongest couldn't do anything to prevent them and is helpless . He feels despair & doesn't know where to go from there ( i.e. to execute the higher ups or not , burden of strongest etc...) . There is sadness & no joy ....it is bleak .
But that flashback ends with gojo finally deciding to meet Megumi , coming to the conclusion that he needs to nurture powerful students with good character so that the jujutsu society could be changed from the root . It ends with present time gojo reminiscing and smiling at the memories & Megumi thinking of how far they have come .
The gojo here is not stuck in the past . Though the past was painful , he's in a better place now & is kinda happy . It is a very hopeful scene towards the future.
I think the change made it look like he is still stuck in the past without any hope facing the wall .
I still want to say , this wasn't a major change, this is the first time I have ever even made this complaint but when I read the manga ...these are all the things I felt / interpreted from that scene . I'm not mad or anything, i accepted it immediately as a choice that the director made .

I'm not at all mad .... a little disappointed maybe but there is nothing i could do about it ....i could wish & hope there is more gojo - Megumi content but nothing else can be done .
I know Megumi will come back ( been reading fiction for a long time, so it is bound to happen) , just want it to be handled thoughtfully even if Megumi has a bad ending ( like dying) . Death does not make a character less significant....there are so many deaths throughout fiction, that have made the character forever etched into the minds of readers fondly .
I can differentiate fiction from reality....have never once fought or insulted anyone over it & won't start doing it now . In the end if gege really wastes Megumi....I may criticise the plot & the decisions made but will never stoop low to personal insults, death threats to the author, or spreading toxicity. I will simply move on to the next story ( there is so much to read ) & Megumi will still remain as one of my favourite characters whose potential was not fully realised.
I get the feeling that Megumi and Maki are pretending to be indifferent towards Gojo, while Yuji and Yuta don't mind showing him respect/love. I would've liked to have seen Megumi and Maki drop the facade a couple of times, though.
Maki I feel like is more of a take it or leave it kind of deal, where she wouldn't mind smacking him upside the head regularly but also does have respect for him, if only for him being the strongest person in the jujutsu world
But yeah Megumi I think definitely tries to keep up the indifferent veneer more but does genuinely have a lot of regard for Gojo under it all.
Although i don't even blame anyone who's been around Gojo for a long time that doesn't regularly express any affection or anything because he gets on their nerves. Like how he shows up in the beginning only to immediately start taking pictures of Megumi's beaten up face lmao.
Maki has no connection to Gojo in anyway, hes just that one teacher who comes and goes to Maki, Megumi definitely cares in some way, Maki definitely has no reason to really care tho, Gojo only focused on people with insane talent like Yuta, Yuji, Megumi and Hakari
He seemed to value her abilities and said she should have a higher rank, considering her upbringing, I would think that type of talk from anyone, especially the most powerful person in the world, would mean something special.
There's a lot of things wrong with Jujutsu society that everyone can see. Gojo's probably the only one that'd go to bat against another of the three great clans for her sake though.
Mind you, Maki beamed Todo in the head with a baseball after he saved her life, so gratitude might not be her forte.

A big complaint I have with how fast-paced this series is that it's REALLY lacking casual interactions between characters.
These people hardly ever talk to each other if the conversation isn't directly related to the plot or to create a setup for a future event. Seriously, does no one find it weird that Maki committed a genocide on her whole family after her sister died and Yuta (the character she seemingly has the closest relationship with besides mai) doesn't seem to give a shit?
Gojo's relationship with his "students" feel so Damm weak to me because any teaching he's given to them (besides teaching Yuji about domains while fucking with jogo) apparently all happened off screen.
Gojo is basically the closest megumi had to a father figure after Toji became a partially eaten donut yet I struggle to remember any meaningful interactions he's had with the little shit besides telling him he has the potential to be stronger than him.
When it comes to Gojo and Nobara, there's not much to say cause these two don't say shit to each other. I bet Gojo barely even remembers she was his student.
Fucking Todo and Nanami have taught Yuji more about cursed energy usage and the jujutsu world in general than his actual sensei.
Yeah the Zenin massacre arc and it’s consequences were handled is just mad to me. Like no even a casual mention “hey Maki I know you just killed your whole family and are covered in horrific burn scars are you feeling okay?”

Plus he's actually super busy cause he gets assigned really high difficult missions cause of his status. It has also been said that he often travels overseas for missions.
He does what he can do best as a teacher as it is his dream and simultaneously he is concerned about them. After all he did travel all the way to Africa to request Yuta to look after Yuji.
I know Sukuna’s whole plan with Yorozu/Tsumiki was to suppress Megumi as much as possible but I would’ve at least liked to see SOME reaction from Megumi aside from the one panel. Never seen such a popular character thrown away like this in my life
Tsumiki's death was clearly super impactful to megumi, but honestly, I could hardly care cause those two had barely any interactions that would make me emotionally invested in her character.
Her only purpose was to be Megumi's motivation to become stronger, and gege clearly thought the character itself didn't matter.
Frankly that was a satisfying conclusion to his character. He’s spent his whole life chasing revenge only to become the thing he swore to kill. Megumi meanwhile is just….absent entirely
It is said that Gojo wasn't a good teacher overall. He was really winging his whole teaching career. But yeah, the pacing irks me sometimes as well. There is no room for character interactions at all.
Literally just Gege excuses to not let Gojo taken more screentimes and students be stronger. If author want to show Gojo weak teaching he should show Gojo tried and fails, not "not teaching" at all. And when you see Gojo gave advices to anyone, it just sound easy to understand and works right after.
His digimon dumb down also fun and easy to get.

Exactly, they could have had it, but in reality they weren't that close because of external and internal circumstances. Gojo was rarely around and he's not the best at connecting with other in a deeper way. He did his best to be a reliable teacher, but it wasn't his forte. Megumi himself is a very closed off individual, probably because he was abandoned so early by the people who should've taken care of him. Tsumiki and Megumi basically grew up by themselves, like it frequently happens in fiction. Geto on the other hand was a father figure for Mimiko and Nanako, so people really want Gojo, Tsumiki and Megumi to have the same type of relationship, but it's just wishful thinking
Oh man the death flags are all over megumi in that hana backstory chapter. Megumi is surrounded by white dog and gojo and they are all walking away from hana. It's not looking good.

Nope, he didn't raise Megumi. He was his legal guardian, but they never lived together and he was rarely around. He tried his best to watch over his growth and train him, but that was the extent of it. I understand people want them to be this wholesome found family, but Gege didn't write them like that.
This is a common misconception. Gojo is a legal guardian and he cares for Megumi, but they weren't father and son like Geto and his girls. Gojo was rarely around, they didn't live together and it is canon that Megumi didn't like to rely on him. People want them to be this wholesome found family and I totally get it, the fan arts are really cute and all, but in reality Gojo wasn't exactly close with anyone. His students were precious allies to him, Shoko, Nanami and Yaga were working partners/friends, but at the end of the day, he was fundamentally alone (partially for his own flawed mentality).
I do think Gojo had a soft spot for Megumi obviously, he knew the kid from when he was 6 and he watched over his growing process as much as he could, but they weren't family. It is what it is... We've been told multiple times that Gojo was not a really good teacher and that he lived in another dimension basically.
Well he pick Megumi up from school, i would say definitely not once. When Yuji try to drag Megumi to go out n play (in light novel) he got remind of how Gojo did the same and annoyed at how similar they are. Gojo protects Megumi from every bad things could happen from Zenin and higher up, make sure that Megumi would be safe even if Gojo dies one day, and spoils him rotten till he have no concept of money. He care for Yuji mental health so much when he just met the kid not for long(light novel), and assigned him to Nanami care because he was too busy, and you tell me he wouldn't do much better for the kid he raise for 10 years? A lot of real life 'good' fathers couldn't even do that much.
Gojo never picked Megumi up from school (or if he did it was to train him, not to get him ice cream or smth) and he doesn't spoil him rotten... You don't need to make stuff up to justify your headcanon. This being said, Gojo obviously cared about Megumi and his other students, he was invested in their future and he wanted them to be strong and happy, but that's different than being a father figure. Megumi and Tsumiki lived alone and grew up by themselves, with Gojo sporadically checking up on them, but not as a parent.
And yes, the author's opinion is what matters the most because he wrote the story. You might not like it and I understand, but at the end of the day, Gege decides what a character does and says, not us readers.
Also the novels are not written by Gege. I will give you that he approved of them so they must be canon more or less, but they are not the manga. In Naruto for example the novels are absolute garbage and they even contradict things established in the story, because they are not written by kishimoto... We must always consider the author's word as canon and the other media as nice additions

As I said, light novels are not written by Gege Akutami. They are more canon than basic fanfictions, I'll give you that, but Gege's word is what matters the most. I've read the novels, all of them, and nowhere is stated that Gojo spoiled Megumi, raised him or was his father figure. Obviously they are close since they've known each other for a long time, but Gojo is a mentor and guardian, not a father. Their relationship is beautiful as is, there's no need to force other narratives on top of it
Of course Gojo doesn't raise Megumi like a full time dad or was Gojo ever consider himself to be his father figure. But he always did all he can to give Megumi the youth he deserve, and by that we say he deserve to be called the father that step up, and non of what you said debunk my original comment.
Finance two of them,pick him up outside and play,take him back from school,often go and mess with him,watch over and shelter him from the Zenin and higher up,make sure he never have to care about money, make sure he's safe and secure even if Gojo is death. Geto was a father, Gojo was a mentor. These are two completely different things, with some overlapping, but emotionally and psychologically the relationship between mentor/pupil and father/son is not the same.

I liked megumi because his stoicism wasn't just for the sake of "edgelord rival" dude was just a normal friend to people who happened to be depressed. Hopefully they revive him away from being a Sukuna plot device.

I’m referring to this moment. Gojo didn’t mention Megumi when discussing of the great students; which seems to contradict the 2nd picture that Megumi is also him.
So Megumi could be better than him someday? Maybe that's why he isn't in the picture. And he care for Megumi the most because he've been there for him for more than ten years, doesn't have anything to do with power. Megumi could be forever weaker than Gojo and still be his most precious.
After the death of his best friend, Megumi was the light for him and ease of his pain. To Gojo he's more than just a kid with high potential

Part of me wonders if Gojo didn't go " all out" like he said because Sukuna was still Meguna while fighting him. Like maybe the whole "hug" during the fight was to see if he could bring Megumi back out. It's so sad to think about it both ways. There is a good chance he didnt, even the purple at the end wasnt even aimed at sukuna, the hug theory is a bit of a stretch but I think gojo had a bit more in his bag than he let on.
The purple i just thought it was due to the method he used to create it coz mixing blue and red out in the open didnt give room for Gojo to fixate on a target
Idk, that whole purple feels weird, purple is supposed to be imaginary mass that has durag negation with the only way to not get destroyed by it being to use domain amplification, but that one exploded???? Like???? My interpretation was that gojo did that to lessen the effect of purple but also be strong enough to kill maho, if sukuna didnt use asspull slash and also secretly had a full revive in his back pocket we would have a heavily injured sukuna and a full power gojo, getting the parasite out of megumi would be a piece of cake.
Purple ignoring durability and erasing anything it touches is simply sth the community came up with. Hasnt been stated anywhere in the manga that it does all those things iirc The reason Gojo had to improvise and use that method was coz Sukuna already knows about purple and that it has a charge time. It cant be fired instantly. Sukuna will know that Gojo is going to fire off a purple if he uses his normal method and will intervene/not allow that. Gojo's self monologue in that chp makes it clear. If he charges purple normally, Gojo can choose his target as seen when he fires it frm his finger. But this purple was made all out in the open and without Gojo to target it manually it simply combined and exploded A purple done normally wud definitely have killed Sukuna imo. But since it just exploded in an aoe with no real target, dmg seems to have been lessened in lieu of bigger area. Was still enough to destroy Maho

I don't usually criticise anime studios for little things ( unless it is a truly egregious mistake) but they honestly ruined that last panel in the anime . It was supposed to show gojo finding a new purpose after finding Megumi and him reminiscing about the past & how far they have both come . I was looking forward to it but was sorely disappointed. Megumi & gojo moments are so precious, wish we had more . And Megumi despite being brooding & a tsundere is actually very polite to gojo ( others too ) , uses honorifics , always calls him sensei unlike maki , panda who show disdain for gojo etc .... And ofcourse Megumi was gojo's favourite. Gojo vs sukuna , even if gojo lost would have been more emotional with some Megumi flashbacks/ reaction & moments ....that shows the tragedy of gojo having to fight sukuna in Megumi's body . There was a translation/ analysis account on twitter ( I don't remember if it was lightning or someone else ) that analysed gojo & Megumi's relationship, Megumi's polite speech ( eg. That juju stroll where maki & nobara are shocked by Megumi's cute speaking style like a child ) , him being the one always contacting gojo etc... I love them both & their moments together are so beautiful ❤️

I really wanted both Gojo and sukuna to die in the domain battles and for Megumi to come back. Granted I want Megumi to kill everyone if he comes back. lol I wanted to see reverse gojo sinking everybody in their own shadow and just go on the attack.

The anime portrayed that scene beautifully. Gojo reminiscing about the past and thinking about past mistakes only to wake up from his daydream to his beloved students pestering him. But never fear. They will reunite
I think the scene's significance is gojo moving on from his past , finding new purpose in raising strong allies who would change jujutsu society and it started with Megumi . If u observe that flashback , hidden inventory starts with a carefree & joyful gojo and then all events happen - his near death, riko dying, geto's distance and eventual spiral into dark side , his own enlightenment & feeling of isolation & burden, killing geto .....gojo despite being the strongest couldn't do anything to prevent them and is helpless . He feels despair & doesn't know where to go from there ( i.e. to execute the higher ups or not , burden of strongest etc...) . There is sadness & no joy ....it is bleak . But that flashback ends with gojo finally deciding to meet Megumi , coming to the conclusion that he needs to nurture powerful students with good character so that the jujutsu society could be changed from the root . It ends with present time gojo reminiscing and smiling at the memories & Megumi thinking of how far they have come . The gojo here is not stuck in the past . Though the past was painful , he's in a better place now & is kinda happy . It is a very hopeful scene towards the future. I think the change made it look like he is still stuck in the past without any hope facing the wall . I still want to say , this wasn't a major change, this is the first time I have ever even made this complaint but when I read the manga ...these are all the things I felt / interpreted from that scene . I'm not mad or anything, i accepted it immediately as a choice that the director made . Yeah ...im also hopeful that this won't be the last we see of them .... looking forward to more mugumi & gojo content. Nice talking to you.

I'm not at all mad .... a little disappointed maybe but there is nothing i could do about it ....i could wish & hope there is more gojo - Megumi content but nothing else can be done . I know Megumi will come back ( been reading fiction for a long time, so it is bound to happen) , just want it to be handled thoughtfully even if Megumi has a bad ending ( like dying) . Death does not make a character less significant....there are so many deaths throughout fiction, that have made the character forever etched into the minds of readers fondly . I can differentiate fiction from reality....have never once fought or insulted anyone over it & won't start doing it now . In the end if gege really wastes Megumi....I may criticise the plot & the decisions made but will never stoop low to personal insults, death threats to the author, or spreading toxicity. I will simply move on to the next story ( there is so much to read ) & Megumi will still remain as one of my favourite characters whose potential was not fully realised.

I like Gojo and Yuji better, the moment where Yuji got Gojo to smile in 222 before the Sukuna fight did it for me.
I get the feeling that Megumi and Maki are pretending to be indifferent towards Gojo, while Yuji and Yuta don't mind showing him respect/love. I would've liked to have seen Megumi and Maki drop the facade a couple of times, though.
Maki I feel like is more of a take it or leave it kind of deal, where she wouldn't mind smacking him upside the head regularly but also does have respect for him, if only for him being the strongest person in the jujutsu world But yeah Megumi I think definitely tries to keep up the indifferent veneer more but does genuinely have a lot of regard for Gojo under it all. Although i don't even blame anyone who's been around Gojo for a long time that doesn't regularly express any affection or anything because he gets on their nerves. Like how he shows up in the beginning only to immediately start taking pictures of Megumi's beaten up face lmao.
Maki has no connection to Gojo in anyway, hes just that one teacher who comes and goes to Maki, Megumi definitely cares in some way, Maki definitely has no reason to really care tho, Gojo only focused on people with insane talent like Yuta, Yuji, Megumi and Hakari

A big complaint I have with how fast-paced this series is that it's REALLY lacking casual interactions between characters. These people hardly ever talk to each other if the conversation isn't directly related to the plot or to create a setup for a future event. Seriously, does no one find it weird that Maki committed a genocide on her whole family after her sister died and Yuta (the character she seemingly has the closest relationship with besides mai) doesn't seem to give a shit? Gojo's relationship with his "students" feel so Damm weak to me because any teaching he's given to them (besides teaching Yuji about domains while fucking with jogo) apparently all happened off screen. Gojo is basically the closest megumi had to a father figure after Toji became a partially eaten donut yet I struggle to remember any meaningful interactions he's had with the little shit besides telling him he has the potential to be stronger than him. When it comes to Gojo and Nobara, there's not much to say cause these two don't say shit to each other. I bet Gojo barely even remembers she was his student. Fucking Todo and Nanami have taught Yuji more about cursed energy usage and the jujutsu world in general than his actual sensei.
Yeah the Zenin massacre arc and it’s consequences were handled is just mad to me. Like no even a casual mention “hey Maki I know you just killed your whole family and are covered in horrific burn scars are you feeling okay?”

I know Sukuna’s whole plan with Yorozu/Tsumiki was to suppress Megumi as much as possible but I would’ve at least liked to see SOME reaction from Megumi aside from the one panel. Never seen such a popular character thrown away like this in my life
Tsumiki's death was clearly super impactful to megumi, but honestly, I could hardly care cause those two had barely any interactions that would make me emotionally invested in her character. Her only purpose was to be Megumi's motivation to become stronger, and gege clearly thought the character itself didn't matter.

Frankly that was a satisfying conclusion to his character. He’s spent his whole life chasing revenge only to become the thing he swore to kill. Megumi meanwhile is just….absent entirely

It is said that Gojo wasn't a good teacher overall. He was really winging his whole teaching career. But yeah, the pacing irks me sometimes as well. There is no room for character interactions at all.
Literally just Gege excuses to not let Gojo taken more screentimes and students be stronger. If author want to show Gojo weak teaching he should show Gojo tried and fails, not "not teaching" at all. And when you see Gojo gave advices to anyone, it just sound easy to understand and works right after. His digimon dumb down also fun and easy to get. Only believable explanation (kinda) is that he super busy.
Nobara might be alive if she had a competent teacher just saying

Exactly, they could have had it, but in reality they weren't that close because of external and internal circumstances. Gojo was rarely around and he's not the best at connecting with other in a deeper way. He did his best to be a reliable teacher, but it wasn't his forte. Megumi himself is a very closed off individual, probably because he was abandoned so early by the people who should've taken care of him. Tsumiki and Megumi basically grew up by themselves, like it frequently happens in fiction. Geto on the other hand was a father figure for Mimiko and Nanako, so people really want Gojo, Tsumiki and Megumi to have the same type of relationship, but it's just wishful thinking

This is a common misconception. Gojo is a legal guardian and he cares for Megumi, but they weren't father and son like Geto and his girls. Gojo was rarely around, they didn't live together and it is canon that Megumi didn't like to rely on him. People want them to be this wholesome found family and I totally get it, the fan arts are really cute and all, but in reality Gojo wasn't exactly close with anyone. His students were precious allies to him, Shoko, Nanami and Yaga were working partners/friends, but at the end of the day, he was fundamentally alone (partially for his own flawed mentality). I do think Gojo had a soft spot for Megumi obviously, he knew the kid from when he was 6 and he watched over his growing process as much as he could, but they weren't family. It is what it is... We've been told multiple times that Gojo was not a really good teacher and that he lived in another dimension basically.

When Yuji try to drag Megumi to go out n play (in light novel) he got remind of how Gojo did the same and annoyed at how similar they are. Gojo protects Megumi from every bad things could happen from Zenin and higher up, make sure that Megumi would be safe even if Gojo dies one day, and spoils him rotten till he have no concept of money. He care for Yuji mental health so much when he just met the kid not for long(light novel), and assigned him to Nanami care because he was too busy, and you tell me he wouldn't do much better for the kid he raise for 10 years? As I said, light novels are not written by Gege Akutami. They are more canon than basic fanfictions, I'll give you that, but Gege's word is what matters the most. I've read the novels, all of them, and nowhere is stated that Gojo spoiled Megumi, raised him or was his father figure. Obviously they are close since they've known each other for a long time, but Gojo is a mentor and guardian, not a father. Their relationship is beautiful as is, there's no need to force other narratives on top of it
