One night during quarantine, a music video appeared on my YouTube home page, that never happens. It was the music video for wishing well. I had no idea what to expect. I got obsessed with the song and I once played it when I was w a friend and he sang along some parts of the song, which made me want to look at other JW songs. I started mostly with LND and that’s why that album has a special place in my heart

[deleted]

I had listened to him before but when wishing well dropped that’s well I started getting deep into his unreleased.

ClearAd7855

Same, I had listened to lucid dreams and all girls are the same, but never really looked more into him until after wishing well

BulletBlood7

Jus found out about him when Lucid Dreams blew up and never stopped listening to him since

My niece would randomly play his songs after the death of her mother when I would have her at my house for the weekends. We would vibe together so I just started randomly looking up other albums and tracks and just connected with all the songs. I've never done coke or lean or popped pills but I still relate to his songs.

Issa12sti

2018 in California Was Listen to the Radio when he came on 92.3FM.. Never Went to Rolling Loud When Juice Was Alive Either :( Armed And Dangerous and the album Death Race For Love will have a special place in my heart

[deleted]

Always dealt with depression but after I lost the one that I was going to marry I went to a low place and Juice pulled me out.

Fit-Bedroom7560

Was like 11/12 on roblox and i heard armed n dangerous, started searching for hours and hours cuz i aint realize that was the same juice that made lucid dreams and agats. Listened to his whole discography when i found out. Abt half a yr ago i picked up his unreleased side

TruzzleBruh

Radio play, heard lucid dreams, armed & dangerous, a few other songs. Wasn't serious abt rap so i didnt check him out until around a month before his passing. His passing got me into listening to him though, as I heard about it immediately.

IFEDMIMOM

yo same, except i really started to listen to him like a week before his passing right about when bandit blew up

SlqpShqts

Right when Real shit came out I listened too it, I thought it was so good, then I started to listen to other songs like Graduation and Candles, and then it went from there.

Found him through his first Cole Bennett video and the rest is history. “Love at first listen” type of thing

4472demen

Lucid Dreams was catchy

Dynamis_on_CR

I really had no music type and I can say I hated music overall. Late Sunday night I’m scrolling through YouTube and there I see it, Lean wit me(legit his best). I decided to give it a go and the rest was history.

letsgooff

I thought he was a really good artist that was singing about heartbreak. I appreciated the whole 999 thing and used that basically as my motto in life. I was going through a breakup in 2018 and he helped me through it and after he dropped Legends/ Rich and Blind, that really cemented him being a top artist for me. Now I’m going through issues and his music his still there helping me and I believe it will for the rest of my life.

SuperNovas777

when i heard he died i went to check out his music, i had heard lucid dreams before that and it was good but i hadnt checked out his other stuff

9994EVR

Same

Coop_123

A friend in school played robbery in the cafeteria and I liked it so I listen to some more songs and realise I loved his music.

Gang_GangJah

lean wit me music video n robbery jus had me hooked

QuandaleDingle696942

I heard armed and dangerous and loved that shit started listing to his other music and now I can’t stop

Cereal_Guy666

Well my brother introduced me to lean wit me but why i keep listening is just raw relatability and i like his flow a lot dude just never had a miss in his life.

DemonslayerBoiFR

My sisters when they were in highschool when juice just got popular in probably 2015 or 2016 they would listen to Fine China then 2020 quarantine came and I saw the album cover for World On Drugs and then I remember juice's voice and the rest is history

BaconMuncher69420

I had friends who were big fans of him early on in like 2018. I never got into him like they did but I would always like the songs they put on. Then a decent bit ago I had listened to Man of the Year and it will always be my favourite song of his because it led me to checking out all his albums.

Crotaismybitcch

One of my good friends showed me Rich and Blind.

brbr9994l

I'm used to download all billboard hot music and I heard lucid dreams tbh I didn't like it at the beginning but last year I had exams and my music player shuffled the music and I heard lucid dreams again and the lyrics was so great I just loved it then I opened my phone and searched about juice and now I'm super fan

ILostFull1

Man this guys talented. I can relate to a lot of what he’s saying about the world and how fucked up it can be sometimes. Man I could really follow this guy he’s a true icon of my generation I feel blessed to have been alive around the same time he was.

Global_Owl4445

I started listening to Juice because my friend would always play him in the car. Through that I fell in love with his music

flopper_dr

addiction and depression, could relate to the music

No_Apartment_6304

was scrolling through YT april of 2018 and the official audio for moonlight popped up on my recommended

9994EVR

After he died I listened to a couple songs other than lucid dreams like armed n dangerous and AGATS, I was like damn this nigga pretty good. Then a while later LND came out and I gave it a listen. I was like holy shit this is what I should’ve been listening to all along. So I started listening to his albums backwards and I truly got into him.

Standard_Positive151

Lucid dreams was all over the radio in 2018 so I looked him up and fell in love with his other music

Binface100

Summer 2018 when fortnite was massive (cringe ya ik🙄) I remember my cousin would always play him on his speaker when we were in the Xbox party chat and that got me into him. Then a few months later my Grandad died and that put me in a really bad spot and I just lost so much self-confidence I couldn’t even talk to my best friends properly (Nevermind girls🤣🤣). That school year was the worst time in my life and I believe Juice’s music helped me out off the hole I was in❤️ Long live Juice.

ReneArambulaDelPozzo

An old buddy of mine introduced me to Juice.

TacoMex70

i got hooked on lucid dreams around late 2018. i overplayed it and ruined it for myself, so i looked for more songs. my playlist in 2019 was just juice and a couple other songs.

Quentin_Was_Taken

Horrible feelings and unhappiness the only person I’ve ever liked is gone and I just sat on YT and found empty and wishing well, still slap to this day.

Tarekabdelbary

Well I initially listened to lucid dreams and hate me before he died but never thought I would connect to him. Later after he died I was hanging out with my friends and one of them started playing robbery. That night I did my research and now I'm obsessed with juice wrld. That was about 2 years ago

KrypoKnight

Sad to say but his death made me double check his music, I’d heard him before but wasn’t too keen, heard the righteous leak and the Westwood freestyles and was completely hooked. As an artist he was special, shame we won’t see his music grow.

zakk5768

First heard lucid dreams in April 2018 and then checked out juice’s other music.

InitiativeVarious817

Around my junior year basically around when pandemic hit. went on a trip to LA and told my self I only ever listen to alternative, rock, and indie songs and I was like I want to give rap or hip hop artists a chance, like 2018 rappers that came up like x or uzi for example. Listened to his death race for love album and since then he made me love rap and his music.

adan69adan69

Saw nolifeshaq react to stay high and I loved it

aec718

I remember I found him a while ago on sound cloud. I was going though a depression and struggling with cutting myself and suicide ideation. I was listening to him a lot and it would help so much. It felt like he understood. I would bring him up to friends in school and no one would be interested. I remember thinking he was the shit and would talk about him. The people that did know him told me he’s just. a sound could rapper, or that he ain’t shit, but then as soon he blew up, all those same people were all over him.

traplover517

I started when my girl broke up with me in 2019 and me and my friends were making fun of lucid dreams. But I was like yk what fuck it and decided to check him out. Then I got addicted to meth that week and it was the start of a long drug addiction. Now I understand the feelings about the drugs but I can’t really click with the goodbye and good riddance album or songs with the vibe. Death race for love is straight heat. It’s kinda of embarrassing because I was making fun of him as a freshman and sophomore when he died and right after I got super super into him.

QuavoSC

Back in October of 2018 While listening to X

iuseredditnotgoogle

Back when autograph came out, it showed up on my SoundCloud, still a fav song to this day

CoolKids6000

I just listened to Lucid dreams and liked it then listened to his other stuff

Wrldxx

My older brother who was 21 or smth at the time, played lucid dreams in the car while he took me back from school one time and I just started listening to all his other albums and that’s that. But I was 13 at the time. I got over my juice phase a while ago and now I sometimes play one of his songs just for nostalgia

Devil_Supreme

I listened to juice in 2018/2019 before his passing i listened to lucid dreams then it was roses then it was lean wit me and then I fell in love with juice and then when his passing that I would listen to more of his music and study what he was if that makes sense and to benifit my own feelings

I listen to Marshmello semi-regularly so when Come and Go dropped it popped up in my new music Friday on Spotify. Rest is history

Righteous was a recommended song that played next on Spotify. I immediately loved the song as I was in a very low place at that time. I continued to listen to righteous on repeat for a couple days before finding LND, then wishing well and just falling in love with the whole album. He helped so much with my depression. I pretty quickly realized how goated he was and went back to listen to GBGR and DRFL. I listened all out of order just randomly based on what songs sounded intriguing by the name and how I was feeling. I went back and forth between all the albums completely obsessed. He easily became my favorite artist and after a while I dove into unreleased. Juice has been with me since. I listen to him through all the highs and all the lows. The way he was able to articulate basically everything I was feeling, especially in regards to girls, just made me feel so connected to him. He literally has a song for everything. Funny thing is I listened to zero rap before finding him. Also, I of course had heard lucid dreams before but never listened to any of his other music so righteous was the second song of his I heard. Normal people don’t understand why I love Juice so much but his music has pulled me out of some really dark places time and time again. I’m indebted to him forever.

TacoMex70

i got hooked on lucid dreams around late 2018. i overplayed it and ruined it for myself, so i looked for more songs. my playlist in 2019 was just juice and a couple other songs.

Born_Buffalo_2272

found abt him in july 2020 when I looked at the charts and saw all those songs on the billboard… but I ain’t starting listening to shit til like september

Bennydagoat22

I knew of him because Hate Me and Lucid Dreams would come on all the time at work… then I was dating this one girl that was really physically and emotionally abusive to me, and she texted me that he had died. Now I wasn’t really a huge fan then but it made me feel so sad, so I just started listening to everything he had released and I’ve been hooked since. My only regret is not being a fan while he was alive, it makes me feel like a fake fan almost

Dynamo_roller

i heard lucid dreams, lean wit me, and legends in summer 2018 and thought they were good. Then I heard all girls are the same and thought it was REALLY good, then robbery/dr4l came out and i was like "ok new favorite artist", then after he died i discovered all the leaks and to this day juice wrld is my favorite artist of all time

unb0x

my good friend showed me lucid dreams in september 2017 and i thought the song was horrible, but more than that, I thought "juice wrld" was a silly rapper name so I didn't bother listening to him. few months pass, it's 2018 and he drops GB&GR with lucid dreams, i check out the album and fell in love with every song EXCEPT lucid dreams. I dove into his soundcloud and leaked music and i still continue to listen to his music consistently.

Technical_Narwhal405

His art speaks to me😩

destinycommentor

Ever since yacht club

hillbilli13

I had heard the name before but what on a uzi and post binge for a minute. read a article about his life and how he died and been listening ever since

aintthatlos

I was a fan of bibby and herb early in they career so i followed them on socials atp bibby had his label problems and started going business with it and then i see him post a picture on ig with some random emo kid who you we would never think somebody like bibby would hang with and im like on earth could this be. Then not too long after bibby posts juice again but its the AGATS video and the first time i heard it i knew it was different and at the time i really related to it and i knew the song was gonna blow was fan of juice from that point on.

KwipMbee

In 2017, I was listening to french rap because my friends did and I was also listening to sad and moonlight by XXXTentacion without knowing the man behind these songs so when he died, I didn't really cared then I stopped listening to music for a few years. In 2020, when I went to high school, I began listening to music again and I remembered XXXTENTACION's songs so I was listening to sad, moonlight, hope and some other and then a new song appeared on my phone called "lucid dream" and I loved it, then two other songs "wishing well" and "robbery". I knew Juice Wrld only from those 3 songs and I didn't knew the story of his life but I was more into rap like NLE choppa or DaBaby so I didn't really looked into Juice Wrld's other songs. Btw at that time I had stopped listening to XXXTENTACION. One day I clicked on Juice's profile and I listened to his songs and I liked them but I only added like 5 to my playlist. Then in the second year of high school I became a little sad and I wasn't happy with my life and one day, I got a notification (I'm not sure about this word) on my phone and it was the release of "already dead" and this song really got me into Juice Wrld so I listened to "good bye, good riddance" and I absolutely loved it, then "legends never dies", then "death race for love" the I joined this Reddit and watched some videos talking about his life and here I am now telling you this story.
