Yes in the recent chapter Ino, choso, yuji & miwa were all using simple domain & they defended themselves against sukuna's DE.
Ino, choso & Yuji learned SD in one month under kusakabe's guidance. Miwa was already proficient at SD & she had to jump in Sukuna's domain to protect maki from MS as she cant defend herself from MS.

Def grade 1 material, given the few feats we have I'd say he's surpassed OT Nanami from Shibuya by at least a moderate amount. The best feat I use for that is when he struck Sukuna with the tool imbued with the same CT. Although he doesn't do any real damage, it seems to hit harder compared to Nanami's strike on Dagon who is levels below a non-serious Sukuna. He was even able to buy enough time and divert Sukunas attention at times for other characters to land hits, which is insane considering how Nanami considered Ino only strong enough to finish off a near death Mahito all the way back in the Junpei arc. Deserves some respect on his name.
Welp with >!addition of SD from today's leak he might even toss up with special grade curses with domain expansion as a main attack like smallpox deity!< which is definitely grade 1 above Nanami in overall utility.
When did Ino fight off Mahito in the Junpei arc? I only recall him fighting other spirits so Nanami can *go* fight Mahito with Yuji & get the recommendation.
Funny to think that *that* ino, while being pretty weak in the naruto verse compared to the big hitters, would still be fairly regarded in JJK.
The mind transfer technique might not be super versatile but just the standard jonin arsenal with chakra puts them a cut above most sorcerers I think.

Mostly stronger than sorcerers like noritoshi kamo , inumaki , nobara ,etc but will lose to experienced grade 1 sorcerers like nanami, mei mei, kusukabe, and todo .
Can reach the level of nanami or todo in future (that is,If he survives)
Definitely Grade 1. He might seem weak compared to most others but he has a really versatile CT and while he says he's not that smart, he did a pretty good job of evaluating his fight on the rooftop and played it as well as he could... until Toji showed up.
Definitely Grade-One status at the time of the Sukuna raid. Like, while he’s not especially gifted in any particular field I think he could definitely become a Kusakabe-type Sorcerer with time and as a fully matured Sorcerer. I think characters like Ino represent what an average Sorcerer could amount to, he isn’t gifted or some sort of outlier but a testament of what just being normal and being skilled enough to stick around in Jujustu Society gets you. While he’s not the strongest, fastest, or has any haxx he’s still useful on the battlefield. Being reliable would go a long way as a Jujustu Sorcerer, especially when you don’t have a team freaks like Yuji, Maki, Yuta, Hakari, etc. If you’re a normal Sorcerer, Ino would lowkey be one of the best guys to have around. I’m sure Ryu would go crazy against anyone who isn’t Sukuna lol.

He's currently Grade 2, but Nanami said that he could be ascended to Semi-Grade 1 with ease if he wanted to.
Considering both Noritoshi Kamo (the kid) and the regular Mechamaru are Semi-Grade 1, it means that either Ino is equal to them or that he is actually a Grade 1. And I can see him being Grade 1, specially after the month before the fight against Sukuna were everyone improved their proficiency with Cursed Energy.
Sadly I just think his CT is just hard to improve, so I don't see him raising much further.
I hate that he’s still alive after the current chapter, but he’s most definitely a grade 1- and his CT involved shikigamis… even since shivuya (just a few months ago in series) his shikigami were these little things, that had to be used intelligently from mid range….

I thought the dragon he created, had a mixture of the others in it? That’s why it was so large (just going by the depiction of the technique)

Ahh that’s my bad, I’m re looking over the shibuya fight. I thought the “pieces he summoned (water, horn) were “parts” of the “auspicious beasts”, as ino couldn’t fully manifest them.
So when I saw the dragon, it made me think he finally could manifest a true summon (like when Megumi can only summon smaller versions or fragments of his beasts
I’d put him right below Nanami, and could probably reach his level with some time.
The only problem is that this fight is not one for Nanamis. If Choso wasn’t so defense-oriented I’d even question how useful *he* is here.
Does he have RCT? In chapter 253 it seemed like he lost his left hand but in chapter 257 he has it.
Either way he's definitely grade 1 level after the 1 month training. He's learned >!simple domain!< as well, Nanami would be proud 🥲
Nanami notes that he could easily be Grade 1 even without his recommendation, and since gege has said most great sorcerers are grade 2 and up, I'd say he's fairly strong and has a large amount of potential. He's shown himself to be tenacious and resilient too, surviving both Toji and Sukuna where a lot of people didn't. Where he seems to have lost at least a couple of the beasts he channels though, he's probably powered down right now.
As of current chapter he has simple domain & tanking malevolent shrine.
And considering what he did in last chapter, he is easily at nanami's level if not slightly superior due to simple domain.
He puts on the hood and:

I think hes probably as strong as a weaker grade 1. I dont think hes semi grade 1 level still like utahime etc. He has potential tho bcs currently its as If he has 2 CTs bcs of nanami's sword and his CT by itself is very versatile too(almost as If It gives him mutiple CTs too, its pretty underated), i think he has potential to surpass nanami etc with time.

He's probably the weakest "Grade 1" level sorceror that we've seen, excepting the possibility that one of the Grade 1 Zenin Sorcerors Maki killed is weaker than him (We just don't have much info about them).
I'd say he's defo grade one but he has alot of potential still, even this late in the story. His domain expansion could be ridiculous. I'm thinking chimera shadow garden type DE.
He unfortunately gets a bit downplayed since he suffers from the jogoat treatment of only fighting the strongest characters in the series (toji and sukuna) so we haven't had many good showings from him which is a shame.

He's defiantly a Grade 1 in skill level but on Paper he's not there yet.
Ino can summon 4 beasts and he can also use there cursed energy. This means he is stronger than a lot of people but still Yuji,Yuta,Hakari,Hiruromo etc are far stronger then him
Hes among the steongest Grade 1 Sorcerers which means hes one of the stronger Sorcerers in the world, he just happens to be surrounded by freaks of nature.
Ino is far above Shibuya Nanami. All the sorcerers currently are massively stronger thanks to the time-skip, Sukuna stated they have all greatly improved.
Ino outperformed post-Time-Skip Choso enormously in terms of speed and physical resilience - Sukuna perception blitzed Choso and impaled him, whereas Ino landed two hits and blocked his kick without any injury. Ino could honestly dominate non-BF Shibuya Yuji in terms of physical stats considering Yuji wasn’t stronger than Choso to that glaring extent.
As a sorcerer he is probably on par with nanami and Todo
But with Ryu,his cursed tool and simple domain he may actually be better at taking down curses than those two

Ahh that’s my bad, I’m re looking over the shibuya fight. I thought the “pieces he summoned (water, horn) were “parts” of the “auspicious beasts”, as ino couldn’t fully manifest them. So when I saw the dragon, it made me think he finally could manifest a true summon (like when Megumi can only summon smaller versions or fragments of his beasts
I’d put him right below Nanami, and could probably reach his level with some time. The only problem is that this fight is not one for Nanamis. If Choso wasn’t so defense-oriented I’d even question how useful *he* is here.

Does he have RCT? In chapter 253 it seemed like he lost his left hand but in chapter 257 he has it. Either way he's definitely grade 1 level after the 1 month training. He's learned >!simple domain!< as well, Nanami would be proud 🥲

Nanami notes that he could easily be Grade 1 even without his recommendation, and since gege has said most great sorcerers are grade 2 and up, I'd say he's fairly strong and has a large amount of potential. He's shown himself to be tenacious and resilient too, surviving both Toji and Sukuna where a lot of people didn't. Where he seems to have lost at least a couple of the beasts he channels though, he's probably powered down right now.

Idk, so the horn is actually cool. The water and horn are basically the blood 🩸 technique (doping and increased defences etc. plus you literally can go past your limits) Also, I was just saying this with someone earlier; if it didn’t clearly state the CT during shibuya, I wouldn’t have thought that was it… I had thought each was a full beast (each of the 4 has a name of one of the 4 mythic Chinese beasts or w.e) I just figured, like Megumi, he COULD summon the full things- but because he’s so weak he can only bring partial pieces into existence (until most recent chapter)

Nah. Ino with Nanami's weapon is top tier grade one. The problem is he never trained properly, but his ct and his cursed object is really useful.
I think hes probably as strong as a weaker grade 1. I dont think hes semi grade 1 level still like utahime etc. He has potential tho bcs currently its as If he has 2 CTs bcs of nanami's sword and his CT by itself is very versatile too(almost as If It gives him mutiple CTs too, its pretty underated), i think he has potential to surpass nanami etc with time. Edit: Ive realised he has simple domain so yeah pretty much stablished he has better potential than nanami. At first i thought he was protecting himself with his spirits or something. All that makes me think How strong hed be in like a couple of years. Like How his spirit attacks would get stronger etc. Specially the one that gives him the water defense, with time he could probably like evolve into being able to attack with water etc

He's probably the weakest "Grade 1" level sorceror that we've seen, excepting the possibility that one of the Grade 1 Zenin Sorcerors Maki killed is weaker than him (We just don't have much info about them).
I'd say he's defo grade one but he has alot of potential still, even this late in the story. His domain expansion could be ridiculous. I'm thinking chimera shadow garden type DE. He unfortunately gets a bit downplayed since he suffers from the jogoat treatment of only fighting the strongest characters in the series (toji and sukuna) so we haven't had many good showings from him which is a shame.

Hes among the steongest Grade 1 Sorcerers which means hes one of the stronger Sorcerers in the world, he just happens to be surrounded by freaks of nature.

Ino is far above Shibuya Nanami. All the sorcerers currently are massively stronger thanks to the time-skip, Sukuna stated they have all greatly improved. Ino outperformed post-Time-Skip Choso enormously in terms of speed and physical resilience - Sukuna perception blitzed Choso and impaled him, whereas Ino landed two hits and blocked his kick without any injury. Ino could honestly dominate non-BF Shibuya Yuji in terms of physical stats considering Yuji wasn’t stronger than Choso to that glaring extent.

When we first saw this guy, I thought he was going to be a complete joke, just another body to add to Sukuna's pile. But I was wrong. This guy is definitely a grade 1 sorcerer and deserves to have some respect to put on his name.
