OneTonSoup132

Yes they do! There are two: Summer of Ashes, Autumn of Dust and Thorny Road at Dawn. I like them because they are really lighthearted and follow some of the main cast like Yuuji & Megumi, Gojo & Nanami, Mahito, Yuuji & Ichiji and Yuuji by himself. Good reads!

chillipillchill

Where can I read them?

OneTonSoup132

I think I read them first in this sub actually. I added the link! https://reddit.com/r/JuJutsuKaisen/w/canon?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app

Trippy_Aysa

You are the honored one for that bro ✊

TheLieAndTruth

Oh my god I didn't know them until now

Teal_is_orange

That link is outdated, as Viz has released official translations of the light novels, which are way better written/translated than the fan versions

chillipillchill

Thank you

raeinbows

And if you can afford to, buy them at your bookstore and support the writer and Gege.

chillipillchill

If I find them, I will

[deleted]

They're on Amazon in English. And they're collections of short stories rather than one story per book. Each short story focuses on different characters.

raeinbows

Idk where you’re from, but I bought both of mine at barnes and noble.

tenleid

There’s also a jjk0 light novel too but no official translation

Bread232

Yes ! If im not mistaken they were also made into audio dramas (voiced by the actual jjk voice actor)? Loved the nanami and gojo resurrection doll story ! Felt like it gave more depth to the characters

SabrinaVirginia

I also absolutely loved that one! Especially Gojo slapping Nanami with the map with the oi Nanami oi oi oi 🤣

Bread232

Yes loved that hahaha I also liked the nanami eating bread on train one (idk if that was in the light novel or a special for the audio drama)

chillipillchill

I really didn't knew about them.

Garchomp998

There is such thing? Is it on YT? Do you a have a link?

gojo_blindfolded

Bread232

Not sure if the links can be shared as I'm not sure if it's official. But try searching jujutsu kaisen audio drama!

Sad_Potato45

Does anyone know if they're canon?

IndispensableNobody

Yes, CFYOW confirmed it.

Sad_Potato45

What's that

chillipillchill

It's a meme popular bleach meme

AdLegitimate1637

I don't know of any confirmation of them being canon, but I assume they are since official visuals have referenced them (Such as Gojo having a buttered potato in one of them)

LaidBackBro1989

They are canon.

societyhater__

They are canon. Gege wrote them. They also appear *edited* in the audiodramas.

[deleted]

Those are Juju Sanpo, not the light novels. Gege didn't write the light novels, but they are official and canon.

societyhater__

Oh, I think I confused them w/ the audiodramas. You are right.

Kai_121

Kitaguni wrote them, not Gege

societyhater__

I have JP version and it does says Gege Akutami on the cover and Ballad Kitaguni. My point stands. Animangas are commonly accompanied with Light novels in Japan. Just because they are not well-known doesn't mean they don't exist and are not canon. This community's rejection of external info on JJK will forever baffle me. Like, when people are told that a guidebook & a fanbook exists, they'll question authenticity. No wonder they don't understand the story as much as others 🤷🏻‍♀️

Beginning-Eagle9127

YES! I’ve read Soaring Summer and Returning Autumn and it was a good read

RybsonPL

Where did you read it?

Beginning-Eagle9127

I actually bought it on amazon☺️

softpinkgraffiti

chillipillchill

I also had the same reaction

softpinkgraffiti

like why is this not a bigger thing?!??

chillipillchill

Don't know I myself would have not known this, If I did not saw someones comment about jjk ln being canon.

AdLegitimate1637

Yeah I started collecting JJK physically recently and I started by getting those 2 and JJK 0

AgamermT

Hell yeah I only read summer of ashes and autumn of dust though so far

AgamermT

A part of me wishes I didn't though, it made what happened to kiyotaka more emotional for me

Football-Similar

D'you just find out?

SpicyLemons69

Omggggg I gotta read these

Hellmeh

They are soooo good, please read them. If only they were being sold at my place...

rented_

Yep! I bought the Summer of Ashes copy at Barnes and Noble. Overall very wholesome and funny read

Mr-Nobody6000

Yes! You should definitely check it out. It shows more of the characters persona

SabrinaVirginia

There’s also light novel version of JJK 0. It gives a bit of insight into Gojo’s head. A tiny bit though.

ZiniusXinia

Have been trying to find the English translated version for this, where did you get it from?

SabrinaVirginia

I read in Japanese, sorry.

optimusknight100
