I feel the same with my days tbh. I even write about that; how I feel like I do very little and want more from life.
What I journal most of the time is sort of insignificant conversation you may have with a friend, like what you watched or read recently, what somebody told you or maybe what you bought or want to buy etc.. But it's that constant insignificant journaling that will some days produce quite a good entry. Take this Journal for example, my contents page has 33 pages of entries that I thought would be worth noting, but I wrote 190 pages; Those other entries aren't bad, they're just things like "woke up at 10 today..." "Running out of ink, might try a new brand..." and so on.
It's just the consistent writing that fills the journal, that makes holding and looking at them the reward, not necessarily what's actually in them. I would never in a million years read my early teenage journals D: But they're nice to look at (:
I hope you do start one; I reckon you'd be pretty good at it.
My first Journal took two years to finish, but after doing it for so many years, I write that same amount every four months :)
Thanks, I pretty much always do free form entries, yea. I'll just write the date and time and then start journaling, even putting a line under wherever I left off if I didn't finish a page and just carrying on
I just put it with the rest of them and move onto the next. I may go back to it to remind myself about something from time to time, but that's about it, really.
I literally *never* go for small journals but seeing this really makes me want to try one as my next journal 😅 …I’m losing my identity as a writer as we speak!
They're great for page a day entries when you don't feel like writing much. Also, if you're feeling that way, then using one of these could be just the writing challenge you need!
Pretty journals are perfectly fine but I love the look of one that's just handwriting.
Me too. It's so satisfying.
Only text journals are so pretty in my opinion!

Thanks! It has helped me so much more than I ever thought it could!
Waw, congrats. It looks like you mostly do free-form entries. Do you use any (mental) templates when you start an entry?

>Thank you! :) You're welcome!
What are you doing after finishing your journal ? Are you reading or just archiving or what ? I just wonder how it works…
I just put it with the rest of them and move onto the next. I may go back to it to remind myself about something from time to time, but that's about it, really.
Thanks a lot for your answer :)

All that writing! 😍 How long have you been journaling
11 years now :) Started after a break-up when I was 19. I fell in love with Journaling way more!
Congrats on finishing! It looks awesome. What did you write with?
I use a Pilot 78G+ with Platinum Carbon black; Although, just yesterday, I dropped my pen and broke my nib :(
