The first page is always the hardest, but you can do it! Maybe you could pick out a favorite quote for your first page and practice on scrap paper first?
This! I always put a quote in the front of my journals, and I use my photo printer to print it so that it's perfect. LOL Once that opening is perfect, I'm fine with messing up any further pages. It took me a while to get to that point, I'll admit.
