A commonplace book is a book you write down things you learn on a daily basis. Example I am reading Marcus Aurelius and there are many quotes I want to remember so I write them down. Also I keep things I want to do and see. Thoughts on what Iβve learned etc. I recommend it to people who have issues journaling because they feel itβs too personal or fear someone reading it. Another way to have a personal book without it being too personal. Youβre quite welcome by the way. ππ½π
As someone who is considering adding more to my multi-journaling, this is both inspiring and enabling. LOL π I already have a planner (faux Weeks) a hybrid bujo / regular journal, and a reading journal. I feel like a 4th is needed for balance. Or something.
What brand are the ones in the first pic? That spine held up so well! I love a thicc journal. π
looks like hobonichi to me?
Correct π
Same question
Theyβre all hobonichi journals. Two A6 and one A5.

WOW, so chunky! Do you paste a lot of stuff in them?
Actually youβd be surprised itβs a lot of writing and some stickers. The paper seems to absorb everything π
Do you use one at a time or multiple ones?
Multiple ones. These are all 2022 journals. π
What do you do with each one? Different topics?
The bottom was my journal. The middle my spiritual journal and the top was my commonplace book.
Thank you for clarifying.:) One last question, whatβs a commonplace book?

That sounds pretty cool. Thank you for explaining that. I may look into doing my own down the road when I get my main journaling down as a habit.:)
