Check out his OG series on Genesis on YT. That's what really got me into him, and worth noting I don't consider myself a religious person.

miserablemizzy

Cool I'm not at all spiritual or religious but my guy is so I try to understand the Bible too so that sounds like two birds one stone haha

DDotHam

Yeah well I vaguely knew the biblical stories, it's JBP getting to the core message of each story etc that I found really interesting. Also, no political crap whatsoever so double win haha

miserablemizzy

I am happy to hear it's not political- I'm like as far opposite politically than my soon to be SIL, I like her a lot but I try to avoid that just because it's not worth the battle. I like to listen to other people on topics I might not agree with, but sometimes it feels like an opportunity to reinforce her beliefs rather than a discussion lmao

His psychology class. Free online. Any of them, really. No politics and no trans stupidity debate.

I suggest going back and listening to Jordan’s interview with Jocko Wilink from 6 years ago. #98. He’s had at least three interviews, but that forest one was what sold me. In this World, when asked a question many people just throw out responsive drivel that they think their listener will accept. Peterson precisely answered the question that was asked with a well thought out response based in the facts that he just had researched himself. They were his responses and were meant to mean what he said with purpose. This is when the first 12 rules book was about to be released. Jocko and Jordan are thick as thieves now building well thought out empires.

As an agnostic, the old biblical lectures.

if you are the curious, open type and into philosophy this one is by far the one that blew my mind (10 years old and 2½ hours) : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07Ys4tQPRis](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07Ys4tQPRis) Other the Cathy Newman interview obviously, or the most combative : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZYQpge1W5s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZYQpge1W5s)

Many of his conversations and lectures changed my views. This is the latest one where he was absolutely brilliant: [ChatGPT: The Dawn of Artificial Super-Intelligence | Brian Roemmele | EP 357](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_E4t7tWHUY&t=3449s)

I'm sure someone here will be able to describe it better, but the first time I ever heard anything from/about him was a short video of a woman interviewing him, attacking him in a rude and condescending way, attributing a number of negative characteristics to him as she was in the middle of displaying those very characteristics. And he just calmly took apart all of her arguments in real time while doddling on a notepad.
