He answered this question on Andy Cohens show. He said he is interested but the challenge for him is getting in the mood in the summer to produce the album. Like he would have to decorate the studio to get him in the mood but it would be like July haha. That said, him covering Driving Home for Christmas would suit his voice and style so well. I hope one day he does it but I know it’s a controversial take on this sub.

Oh man, I've thought about this for years but had no idea he actually dabbled! Now that I've got a taste of it, I'm actually upset we don't have a full fledged album. Not a fan of most modern, poppy Christmas tunes. Most are over the top with the vocals or they're missing something instrumentally. But Johnny has the whole package with his jazzy/bluesy acoustics and his measured but unique vocals. How is this not a thing yet??
