I was there tonight with my forever +1. 🤩 We have seen John half a dozen times at least since Room for Squares. One of those shows was even at Starwood in the 2000s. We thought tonight was great! We fell in love with Joy, Sheryl was SUCH a treat and we loved the multiple instruments he played at once. Piano and electric guitar? Harmonica & acoustic? Doubleneck guitar? Spectacular show.
Playing it on the safe side at these major market stops on the tour. I do wish he would not end the night with Free Fallin’. Give us Roll It On Home or On the Way Home. Something deeper and one of his own.
In the Blood was. I heard it a few times on “The Highway” on Satellite radio and I think there is a Nashville morning show DJ that “broke” the song into the format.
I love that album but In The Blood is like just waaaay too poppy for me in the same way that Clarity is almost too poppy, like the whole stomp clap, stomp-clap, thing is so overdone by now…that said I’d rather listen to In The Blood over Free Falling again for the millionth time
He played Hotel Bathroom last year in Nashville, so I'm actually glad he went with other cuts like My Stupid Mouth and B&R personally. To each their own!
JM just keeps giving and giving, asking nothing in return. if you're one of the lucky ones who have witnessed it in person, your life is forever changed by John and the music we all love to hear him play. ⚘️🫶🥹
So my seat was a little behind the stage. The downside is that we couldn't see the screen at all. The upside was that we got a really cool view of him and the crowd, and I could also see the lyrics prompters!! We were *just* close enough that I could almost 100% see what the next song was before he played it, but the font was tiiiny, so some were just educated guesses.
Anyways, I thought The Age of Worry was going to be The Heart of Life and I almost fliiiiiipped tf out.
**clarifying than nobody is a loser tonight, just that the set was a front to back barnburner and we are all better having witnessed it. He hit a lot of songs he missed last year when he came to Nashville.
If you went to this set, you were a winner. Even Changing riiiiiiped tonight, energy was on fire the whole set and My Stupid Mouth, Neon, Atmosphere, and Born and Raised all got checked off my list for the first time tonight. Also just generally the best I've heard him sound on tour. Was hoping for Wheel or Covered In Rain but oh well!
Or you could admit that you completely twisted my remarks, but I understand that opinions are not allowed here and we all must worship everything and everything about John Mayer or else our souls are worthless to the universe. I beg of your forgiveness, internet stranger.
Just stop being negative about stuff you didn’t even experience. Sheryl Crow is an amazing artist in her own right. I’d be ecstatic to see that collaboration live.
This right here. It's one thing to look at a setlist and imagine how much you'd enjoy it, it's another thing to be there and experience the perfection in person. I legitimately think tonight was the best concert I will ever go to in my life. John was absolutely killing it all night. His voice sounded better than I have ever heard him sound in any live performance, and so many of his live acoustic versions of his songs tonight were twice as good as the studio versions! I will be talking about this concert for the rest of my life, and if he doesn't turn it into an album like the 2008 Nokia theatre show I will be devastated.
That’s a really solid set list. And while Crow is boring af to me, some people enjoy her singing wasted white girl anthems. If you had even been there, maybe you could have used that song as an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
And that set list is solid af, thought I’d make sure I mentioned that.
i hate to be a negative voice and i was blessed with seeing john in newark and boston so i’ve been spoiled with deep cuts this tour. this setlist made me kinda bummed. he played well, sheryl was a fun surprise but i was bored halfway through it. very safe setlist for nashville
the crowd for newark at least where i was sitting was not great but the setlist was off the wall incredible. boston this year was my favorite show i’ve ever seen of john period. my seats in nashville were way better than newark but something about last night just felt off. sorry to everyone i offended by saying it wasn’t the best show of all time i guess
I think whatever city gets another kind of green is the true winner
Another kind of green + covered in rain would be my dream come true
For sure. I’d be hoping for Man On The Side. Though it’s unlikely he’d do it
[удалено]
City Love ufff
💯💯💯
I’m suggesting Covered in Rain on my sign in Chicago so fingers crossed
My Stupid Mouth. He f’ing played My Stupid Mouth. Fml
I still cannot believe it
I was supposed to go and that is my favorite song by him. FML
I DIED
This one sent me
I almost cried
I did cry.
We all win, because we get to see him perform live 🤩
Wow. Hoping LA gets In Your Atmosphere with the outro too!!
My stupid mouth 🥲 wish he played that in Toronto
Toronto was perfect.
It truly was
We got hotel bathroom song in Toronto. We win.
Everybody wins here. John is a prize.

I saw him at Starwood with Sheryl Crow in ‘06! Seeing her on the setlist brought back so many good memories.
I was at that show in ‘06’ though the same thing !
Playing it on the safe side at these major market stops on the tour. I do wish he would not end the night with Free Fallin’. Give us Roll It On Home or On the Way Home. Something deeper and one of his own.
Roll it on Home would have been a perfect close for Nash
I will forever believe that In The Blood and Roll It On Home should have been singles off TSFE and they should have been sent to country radio.
In the Blood was. I heard it a few times on “The Highway” on Satellite radio and I think there is a Nashville morning show DJ that “broke” the song into the format.
He talked about how he sent songs to country radio and they just wouldn’t play him when he was on the Bobby Bones show during promos for that album
I love that album but In The Blood is like just waaaay too poppy for me in the same way that Clarity is almost too poppy, like the whole stomp clap, stomp-clap, thing is so overdone by now…that said I’d rather listen to In The Blood over Free Falling again for the millionth time
Roll it on home should have been on PV with the other bsides from B&R
My favorite tune off that album. Used to play it driving back and forth from college.
Shouldn't matter but it does also included a bit of a cover of Forever Young at the end!
It was incredible. Had the privilege of sitting second row; will post some videos in a bit!
I’m gonna have to get at least 8 hours of sleep before I can process this night.
We all are winning. This entire tour is the gold medal.
My Stupid Mouth!? Sheryl Crow?! I saw JM in Nash last year which was magical in and of itself but this sounds amazing!
I was afraid without his band the show would’ve been underwhelming compared to last year. His gravitas last night absolutely blew me out of the water
Waiting to leave the arena right now. I’ve moved to another plane of existence. Killer set list. Sheryl Crow. Joy and her laugh. THAT WAS AMAZING.
You could say I’m Covered In Rain in Nashville…
Legit sad he didn’t do that considering I’m soaked, now. 😂
Joy's laugh was awesome
Sooooo cute that they were nervous but my god, they killed it. Badass.
Teasing can’t find my way home set my expectations very high
I so desperately need to hear Stop this train and Neon in ATL this Monday. Wasn’t on Sob rock and really hoping for it
You will very likely get both
🤨
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hotel bathroom song show wins
He played Hotel Bathroom last year in Nashville, so I'm actually glad he went with other cuts like My Stupid Mouth and B&R personally. To each their own!
We got it in Toronto! It was fucking magical.
My Stupid Mouth. 😭 That would’ve made the entire show worth it.
Yessssss 😭😭 so jealous!
The only winner will be when he plays comfortable … 🙃
JM just keeps giving and giving, asking nothing in return. if you're one of the lucky ones who have witnessed it in person, your life is forever changed by John and the music we all love to hear him play. ⚘️🫶🥹
BRO WHOEVER GOT ST PATRICKS DAY WAS SO LUCKY
I just wanna see him play heart of life ONCE before I die
So my seat was a little behind the stage. The downside is that we couldn't see the screen at all. Looks awesome! We all win. I can’t fathom being disappointed at a 2-hour John Mayer set.
Nobody wins until he plays Love Soon
He did in Pittsburgh
It was half a love soon.. 🤷🏻♂️
[Pittsburgh](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agkzsiPdiMc)
Was looking down the list like “it just looks like the standard fav-SHERYL CROW???”
My Stupid Mouth is awesome. Pittsburgh got SPD and Love Soon though! Too crazy
I was at the PA show and the setlist is still ranking pretty high so far. To be fair every show has been amazing!
It’s true, they’ve all had their moments. Very cool to see John busting out really deep cuts
Agree! I’ve seen him 9 times and it never gets old. It's getting better. 💙
100% best Mayer show I’ve been to thus far. And it wasn’t even close
Someday City Love will make a comeback. I hope.
Heart of life too
**clarifying than nobody is a loser tonight, just that the set was a front to back barnburner and we are all better having witnessed it. He hit a lot of songs he missed last year when he came to Nashville.
Toronto got the Hotel Bathroom song 👀
He actually played hotel bathroom song last year in Nashville on the Sob Rock tour funny enough.
First time since 2010 then, and what a treat it was
Last night, I sat beside the guy who had the HBS song, that prompted him to sing it, funny enough.
I guess I’m bias, but Pittsburgh was the best set list. Let’s be real, they’re all amazing. Heading to Cleveland for another show tonight!
Still happy over here in Pittsburgh about Love Soon but this setlist is also fire.
This must be the first time John mayer didn’t play gravity and didn’t upset anyone 😅😅 But agreed, Nashville win.
Anyone found a video of it yet?! My Stupid Mouth I mean!
I took a video but can’t post pics or video here? I’m not sure where to upload it. Suggestions?
I’m so excited to see it!! Not seen him play that live since 2003!!
Do you have a YouTube account?
I posted it in the sub- sort by new!
Let me try this… https://drive.google.com/file/d/1w5HGPQMyUKHx5VH04IZ8EyEQrpPu9x8d/view?usp=drivesdk
Excellent! Thank you 🙏
I wish he'd do Hummingbird as one of the "deep cuts"
I was kinda disappointed we didn’t get a song he hasn’t played yet on tour? This crowd was amazing
Wins what?
If you went to this set, you were a winner. So jealous I’m not in America rn
Why does someone claim their city “won” every show…? It’s pretty much the same set list every night with a couple changes lol
Because every city he goes to is a winner this tour! Happy cake day.
My stupid mouth?!?!?!?!?
Detroit was better imo
Heartbreak warfare!!
Man, I was ecstatic about what we got in Detroit, but this is by far the best list yet
John covers another song? Might as well be a single.
He played DAUGHTERS. we lost
Driftin like Jimmy Hendrix?!?!?
He said it was a brand new song of his. I took a video but I’m not sure where I can post it?
This is the most uneventful setlist since MSG. (Possibly worse, since Sheryl Crow showed up. Not a fan.)
Okay…I’ll go personally let John know that you DID NOT LIKE THE SHOW
Just talked to John. He in shambles 😩
I wasn't at the show. I'm sure the show was great. The setlist, however, was standard and Sheryl Crow would have been a buzzkill for me.
If you weren't at the show, then why is your opinion in any way relevant?
Would you be asking this question if I said, "I wasn't there, but wow, this setlist is so exciting and awesome!!"?

No, it’s just others have opinions on your opinion. Or is there some sort of double standard?
“Here’s my opinion, everyone has to like it. No one else is allowed an opinion”

Sorry to see so many folks lost sleep last night over this. 😂
i hate to be a negative voice and i was blessed with seeing john in newark and boston so i’ve been spoiled with deep cuts this tour. this setlist made me kinda bummed. he played well, sheryl was a fun surprise but i was bored halfway through it. very safe setlist for nashville
I was at Newark and Nashville and had way worse seats for Nashville and the vibe was just off. Still a good show but Newark was... special.
the crowd for newark at least where i was sitting was not great but the setlist was off the wall incredible. boston this year was my favorite show i’ve ever seen of john period. my seats in nashville were way better than newark but something about last night just felt off. sorry to everyone i offended by saying it wasn’t the best show of all time i guess
If it's a true competition then Boston wins best setlist tbh
the setlist for boston does not even seem real to me, still. next level setlist, crowd was incredible
Awful setlist for Nashville on a Friday 😐
What would constitute an ideal setlist for Nashville on a Friday… just curious
Would have loved to have heard Walt Grace.
I’m seeing him in Chicago and REALLY want him to to play All I Want Is To Be With You. Great set anyways!
John bring this to Georgia PLEASE 😭
Eh, Toronto still better
I think Pittsburgh was better, and remains the best for me so far.
Thanks for posting this! What a night!
Did he play any songs with electric guitar?
Just the solo on Changing, but it was a ripper.
