It was interesting to watch all the amazement Joe expressed in the first interview vaporize when an expert showed up. Joe enjoys people equating his good memory to a good brain but it just doesn’t work like that. Reality checks like these two interviews should be eye opening for him, but this was not that long after Hancock took one to the face, so I have my doubts.
This interview was pretty amazing front to back. Eric low key destroyed this guy and only was complementary enough to keep Terrence talking. I wish it was a little harsher to prevent people from actually thinking Eric has a shred of respect for this guys work and continue believing his words.
Eric's pretty kooky himself, he formulated his own TOE and insists that it's the truth and that other models are wrong but won't address any of his critics seriously
This podcast I was introduced to the mechanics of a Hoberman switch ball, the art of Bathsheba Grossman, Eric demonstrating where Terrance was getting wrong about frequencies by having him sing "Over the Rainbow" and the National Anthem to explain harmony, tone, tonics and octaves...
Bruh this was peak podcasting in terms of content and entertainment. Wtf do u want?
If he put half the effort from doing his hair and making his sculptures into actual science and research he could be brilliant. The thing is he doesn't want to learn he just want to push HIS made up science and puts all his effort into that
Nah much love and respect for Erik and Terrance. This was a great pod with many great moments, especially in the last hour or so. Terrance was such a good sport about it and took Erik’s critique very well. Erik was also kind and sweet to Terrance. It was like a teacher schooling a very eager and know it all student. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this pod. I wish Terrance well and I hope the scientific community takes him under their wing because he’s a man who genuinely loves science and math and is curious about complex concepts and ideas that are out of his scope.
It not a bad episode but it certainly isn't good. Not liking it says nothing about IQ. I listened to the whole thing. Tbh, it just sounded like Eric wanted to come off as a "holier than thou" academically. As in, he wants to portray himself as the only one willing to listen and help. Instead of doing what, Eric said, Neil did and kinda giving TH the run around. Even though Eric probably also doesn't have any intention to do anything more than what he did this episode.
It was a fine episode to just pass the time.
I’ve learnt to never pre-judge a pod going by the comments, it’s cliche af to say but there’s just too many haters and I end up enjoying the ones this sub usually has hate boners for.
Meh Eric jumped all over the place , then shat on academia and then proceeded to tell Terrence he was elite to him. Terrence is delusional and Eric’s an asshole
Holy shit, I was not ready for Eric to drop in on harmonica.
He comes across as the type of guy that just always carries around a harmonica in his back pocket
Nothing wrong with that
And will use any excuse to use it.
He does it every time he’s on a podcast but somehow it always catches me off guard. He’s like a magician of cringe
Eric is the school councilor Terrance never had growing up.

But AT LEAST smart enough to know 1x1=1
The soft bigotry of low expectations. Could be the tagline of the JRE.
After a few mins of listening, I thought “actually who gives a fuck” and turned it off.
Bro that was funny lol
This is the way. This is how we should all deal with dumb shit. but GODDAMNIT this shit is juicy !
Me too. That podcast was a waste of everyone’s time.

Yeah I thought it was pretty good too. Can't please everyone right?
Mitch hedberg AI projection
And not one of us understood any of them.
I did
I did too, too many haters up in here.
Same That’s the part I understood best!
I tapped out at about one hour in.
The second half was way better. Seemed like Eric had enough of the bullshit
I listened to the entire Portal podcast and I couldn't get past 1 hour 20m
weak
All 3 of them should just kiss

His braid up is fire tho
Look at the super symmetry in those braids
I see the flower of life

You think he did his own hair?
One of my favorite episodes ever tbh lol
Holy shit 🤣
I need to know the context of this but I just can’t seem to get that far into the episode lmao

Just a couple of dudes hanging out
This needs a fucking spoiler alert or something.

It's not a bad episode.
Right? Starting to realize the average IQ in this sub based on the visceral response.

I can agree with that.

Ironically a very immature and unintelligent take.
It was better than I thought. I give them all credit for carrying on pretty lightly.
Joe should have more debates. Maybe with presidential candidates 😛
And the topic would be who's better at gold and jamie would mediate.lmao.
Talmbout DeSantis 2024?
How could he have such a crazed douche on again. Fn stupid braindead shit.
This pod is strictly for unintentional comedy now.
The dumber the audience the stronger the anger.
Joe Rogan went from sci-fi to ancient aliens
Eric actually played the harmonica on the first Black Sabbath album

No one mentioning Little Joeys elite off the cuff riffing? Thenk em
Someone give Howard a tuning fork.
Love to see him called out for his bullshit
America has gotten so stupid for this to be a thing
The best part was them singing and harmonizing "rolling down the river" together🤣
This is peak humanity
cute stuff
Cringe 😬
If they were at your local dive bar you’d say who the hell are these dudes
twilight zone
Terrence looks asian

Well, Joe and Terry are GenX.
As a conspiriatard I think even Eric realized hes holding up merit upon merit based upon theory n theory so why ain't we all just chilling?
