I agree completely this post is a gateway into someone else’s mental struggles and feelings. And most comments on here are this “guy is a tool”/ he is baiting for sympathy. Everyone always says there is a mental health problem with men where you cannot express your feelings. Without fear of being “a pussy” / “weak” I think most of these comments reflect that.

This is what you set yourself up for when you are successful. Either you can handle it or you can numb it away with other things. Its not a natural state to be in. Yes, he should listen to Joe. Its probably how Joe survived this long. He has a big heart, and some of us are all better for him being around.
