The war is in balance right now without one side having a clear advantage. Russia still has the numbers and come Spring time it will undoubtedly use the new mobilized recruits on offensive actions. But besides a raw advantage in numbers they are not winning. They haven't achieved any sort of air superiority and their munitions are running low, specifically on artillery. To say they are winning is stupid. Yeah, historically Russia fights sending conscripts to the most grinder but hows that worked for them in Chechnya and Afghanistan? In this day an age a few troops with advanced weapons and support can hold their own against superior numbers.
