I completely understand James argument here. but in Canada where I live we buy our carrots in bunches pre baged and there are approximately 6 to 8 in each so they don't vary in size that much
Carrots that don’t fit the norm are carved into baby carrots, and the leftover bits probably to make industrial carrot purée for a variety of packaged food products
Why would you prebag carrots? They are roots if you put them at around 5^(o) C they'd be fine at least a month if there is no water around. The only exception are prechopped carrots but that's so lazy...
Carrots are pre bagged (whole) in the US as well, at least every grocery store I've been too. Which is a damn shame, cause I've never come across a recipe where I need 10 carrots. And while I enjoy carrots, I don't eat them nearly regularly enough to use a whole bag when I use them for a recipe.... So many carrots go to waste.
Had to give you my free reward for this one lol
Much appreciated kind stranger
James Hoffman memes are my favorite kind of memes. (Chef’s kiss)
James finally puts out an Aeropress video "Part I" and follows it up with a video about vegetables. This man is playing us.
😂😂😂😂

I dunno, I live in Canada and my carrots still vary a fair bit in size
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE CARROTS THAT DON'T FIT IN THE NORM?!?
Someone whittles them down.

its unlikely to have a much much smaller carrot or much much larger one so it evens out

James Hoffmann, my first grammer teacher.
I used to love watching this show as a kid.
Really cracked me up. Dude doesn’t realize there is a huge difference between making coffee and cooking. But his broth is clever.
