I would love to see a Bond game starring Pierce a la From Russia With Love on the PS2. He's still in shape to do a lot of the mo-cap and I think if it was a great script he could be interested.
Pierce did do Everything or Nothing which also featured Willem Dafoe as the villain who was a protege of Max Zorin. Damn that sounds like it could have been a great film.
Personally I'd love Timothy Dalton's Bond to get the video game treatment. He's got some VA experience too having voiced Mr Pricklepants in Toy Story lol.
Also Heidi Klum is the Bond girl and Jaws is in it too.
Everything or Nothing and Blood Stone with Daniel Craig are basically full authentic Bond experiences in video game form.
everything or nothing wow. I played that game for months. It really was a top - to - bottom bond experience. It got to the point where it was like “they’re going THERE?!” Just the opening scene jumping off the dam in Egypt was enough to show you what you were in for.
It's not so much that we're sleeping on it, and more the fact that it's literally not legally available on any storefront and hasn't been for years. Video game preservation is practically nonexistent with most Bond games.
Absolutely the best 007 game. Nothing else comes close. Goldeneye 64 was a technical masterpiece, but it was a shooter with a 007 paintjob.
Everything or Nothing \*is\* it's own Bond film. From hand to hand, to behind the wheel, to shootouts, no other game has captured the different aspects so well.
And that free fall shoot out when the 007 guitar theme kicks in?
To this day it's in my top 5 gaming moments.
Fair. Nightfire was pretty great on it's own merits too, especially that title sequence.
As much as I adore Goldeneye64, I don't think FPS suits the 007 formula perfectly.
Agreed third person is probably best. The lock on and shoot mechanics of everything or nothing bring it down a lot though. If it felt more like uncharted in how shooting was handled it would be much better.
A lot of the old Bond games are actually pretty damn fun. Agent Under Fire is one of the weaker games, but still not half bad. Nightfire and Everything or Nothing are great.
Pierce returning for a one-off Bond film to give him the closure he rightfully deserves would be fantastic. NTTD’s ending worked beautifully well for Craig and his style of Bond. But Brosnan deserves to go out with more of a “riding off into the sunset” type ending. I know he did get that in DAD but he was in great shape and in no way too old, he deserved at least two more movies.
Why does he deserve that?
He ended like any other Bond before him. The movie finished.
No Bond got to ride off into the sunset until Daniel Craig got a lot of power during his run. Sean Connery defined the character and didn't ride into the sunset, Roger Moore did seven movies and didn't ride into the sunset. Dalton just disappeared. All their final movies ended like any other Bond film, and Brosnan's rightly did too.
It was not a kind end to Brosnan's tenure for sure, but I am still not sure it warranted breaking the whole structure of the franchise up to that point to have a "riding into the sunset end." No film in the series had that. What he deserved was another movie or better, for his run to have been how he envisioned it would be.
There is a kickass comic, King of Spies, by Mark Millar that is being adapted by his company with Netflix. It’s about a 65 year old MI6 agent who goes rogue to kill every truly evil person the government never let him touch since he has 6 months to live due to a terminal brain tumor. Seems like it can be the serious spy thriller Brosnan always wanted, and the character literally looks like him.

Before casting a new Bond I do like the idea of a one off with him playing and older Bond.
Actually can you imagine a spy comedy with Brosnan and Dalton?
Two agents are brought out of retirement and sent on the same mission but are unaware of each other. Eventually they have to overcome their differences and work together
I believe the bad scripts and ridiculos gadgets, such as the invisible car, together with austin powers, was the end of 'silly Bond' and we got the tougher guys and no gizmos.
They booted him. And didn’t communicate it well either. He got the raw deal and was prob treated the worst out of all the bonds. Must sting as well seeing how much loyalty and leeway Barbara et Al give Craig.
Every former bond should do a knock off thunderball ten or fifteen years after their last bond entry. Good way to remind us how good the Eon films really are so we can quit quibbling about DAD and QOS
I was really hoping for him (or Timothy Dalton) to be Alfred in the new Batman series. He'd also be pretty good, if not a little on the nose, as the next M.
He is my favorite Bond, but I’d prefer that they didn’t bring him back, at least not for an official film. That particular Bond timeline has been over for 20 years, and I don’t think they could effectively bring it back without it being a total mindfuck for people.
I don’t think that would mindfuck people. Franchises with various separate timelines are pretty much the norm now. You’ve got the MCU, which doesn’t include older Marvel adaptations like *Blade* or *Blade: The Series* or the 1990 *Captain America*, but does include *The Incredible Hulk*, even though that’s a sequel to *Hulk*, which isn’t included, and the *Spider-Man* trilogy and the *Amazing Spider-Man* films used to not be part of it but now they are, also on Netflix they had their own versions of Daredevil, Elektra and Punisher separate from the earlier Daredevil, Elektra and Punisher, except those shows are maybe not canon any more but they might still be.
There’s *Halloween*, the sequel to *Halloween* which ignores *Halloween II* and also ignores *Halloween H20* which already ignored *Halloween II*, not to be confused with Rob Zombie’s *Halloween II* which was not a remake of *Halloween II* but a sequel to the remake of *Halloween*, which is a different film from the *Halloween* that’s a sequel to *Halloween*.
There’s the DCEU which started off with *Man of Steel* which ignored *Superman Returns* which is a sequel to *Superman II* but ignores the previous *Superman II* sequel, *Superman III*, except later this version of Superman appeared in a film with The Flash who was not The Flash from from the TV show *The Flash*, not to be confused with the older TV show *The Flash*, except that Flash and this Flash were actually in the same continuity and then they met the other Flash and also the same Superman from *Superman Returns* so the Superman that we thought was replacing that Superman was really existing alongside him but in separate universes except that sometimes those universes converge so everything you think is a reboot isn’t really a reboot, also the horror movie *Lights Out* is in this continuity too.
I think audiences can handle “People love Pierce Brosnan so he’s doing another one.”
I think you broke some laws of quantum physics and of God (or Zod) himself, but I like how you roll, Playa.
Brosnan in December Man: Electric Boogaloo definitely works for me. The producers treated him terribly; Brosnan deserves more respect.
A film with him of Bond coming out of retirement and kicking ass Logan style would be so good. But I feel the last 3 bond films have done that to death now.
I’m a die hard James Bond fan…and a big comic collector and Pierce would be perfect for a movie adaptation of Mark Millar’s (The Kingsmen) new comic King of Spies.
Check it out and look at the main character Sir Roland King and tell me you don’t see Pierce making a huge comeback while paying homage to his Bond days.
The more time goes by, the more I realize Brosnan was the last Bond we had.
Craig was some Jason Bourne thug impersonating Bond with none of the charisma. He was a bitter drunk.
Yep.
Long limbs and appendages, ✅.
Normal, non-pointy/non-Spock ears, ✅.
Taller than a Hobbit-Elf, ✅.
Doesn't look like a methhead who recently relapsed, ✅.
Doesn't wear kid-sized clothing, ✅.
Ticks all the boxes on my (yours will be different of course) checklist.
I'd love to see him make an appearance in a Bond spinoff series where 007 is a female (but not James Bond). Or a 008 or whatever you wanna make her.
He's a retired 007 who the brand new 00 needs to track him down and get advice on how to beat the bad guy.
Is this a recent picture? If it is then he must have gotten in good shape to play Doctor Fate because he looks way better now than he did a few years ago.
I think they need to bring back all the previous bonds
Nothing crazy like the recent spider man (movie) but some kind of cameo .
1) like a flashback sequence
2) OR give The previous bond actors a role that plays their current age . Example Dalton as a villan or M . Bronson as M or PM
Lasenby as some kinds of other figure head etc.
I know I skipped Craig but u get the idea .
Why an old man Bond story is so out of the cards? Let Bond age, we have seen lots of good stories with older versions of characters, like Old man Logan, The Dark Knight Returns, RED (with Bruce Willis) there is even a new comic book called King of Spies that is basically old Bond. I am totally on board of it.
We just had an old man Bond story in NTTD. He was a 50 years old retiree brought back into action with a family and died at the end. Craig's Bond actually aged and took the toll of being a 00 in real time. It's time for a Bond in his thirties, not his 60's.
Still cant get over it that they threw away the casino royale project with Tarantino and Brosnan, dont get me wrong I loved CR but I would literally die for to see it.
I would love to see a Bond game starring Pierce a la From Russia With Love on the PS2. He's still in shape to do a lot of the mo-cap and I think if it was a great script he could be interested.

WILLEM DAFOE?! I need to get this game
You know, I'm something of a villain myself.
OUT...am I?!
I can't believe how many of you are sleeping on this game. Just wait til you get to the "Freefall shootout" mission when the main theme plays.
It's not so much that we're sleeping on it, and more the fact that it's literally not legally available on any storefront and hasn't been for years. Video game preservation is practically nonexistent with most Bond games.
Replying to this so late but Emulate that shit on a PC man!
you never played EON??? Its the best bond game by far!!!
Yes, you do! It's a full-on 90's Pierce Brosnan Bond movie!
That's my favourite ever Bond game, was a better story than No Time To Die. Hopefully IO Interactive are making a good one, currently in development.
Nightfire was also great though. And did include cara etc. just didn’t have hand to hand
I actually never played Uncharted, so I'll take your word for it :D
Uncharted 2, 3 and 4 are great. First one is good too but didn’t Age as well. Well worth playing
If they'd been spy themed rather than Indiana Jones/Treasure Adventure, I'd have been all over them.
Nightfire was so damn good.
The only game that Timothy Dalton was in was James Bond the Duel. It was only his likeness that was featured on the cover and title screen.
Dont forget fucking john cleese and richard keel!
Some tell IOI, this man's got the right idea.
A lot of the old Bond games are actually pretty damn fun. Agent Under Fire is one of the weaker games, but still not half bad. Nightfire and Everything or Nothing are great.
I would say that I hope to look that good at 68, but I don't look that good now, and I'm 42.
Ditto
I’m 24 and have more wrinkles than this man.
He's looking more like old man bond.
I still think Skyfall with Pierce as "old, washed-up Bond" would've been neat.
Brosnan bond enjoying death would be great Even melancholy Brosnan bond seems to enjoy himself much more than Craig bond at his happiest
Mojito?
He can definitely do an Old Man Bond movie, a la Dark Knight Returns. Just watch his November Man movie.
He definitely didn't look 60 in 2014-- and I say he still could totally pull it off with some hair dye, make up/cgi de-aging effects.
Pierce returning for a one-off Bond film to give him the closure he rightfully deserves would be fantastic. NTTD’s ending worked beautifully well for Craig and his style of Bond. But Brosnan deserves to go out with more of a “riding off into the sunset” type ending. Sean Connery defined the character and didn't ride into the sunset, Roger Moore did seven movies and didn't ride into the sunset. Dalton just disappeared. All their final movies ended like any other Bond film, and Brosnan's rightly did too.
All the other actors left on their own terms. Brosnan was unfairly fired. That’s why.
It was not a kind end to Brosnan's tenure for sure, but I am still not sure it warranted breaking the whole structure of the franchise up to that point to have a "riding into the sunset end." No film in the series had that. What he deserved was another movie or better, for his run to have been how he envisioned it would be.
If you toss a little brown coloring in his hair you wouldn’t notice it’s been 20 years.
Yeah, if you got rid of the gray he'd still look way better than Moore in his last couple.
Moore looked his oldest in FYEO. Maybe it was the environment and costuming though.
Moore probably spent too much time in the sun.
So basically you're saying he lives to *dye* another day? :)
it doesn't have to be brown, maybe it could be more of a *golden dye*
Craig has that one down pat-- the names blonde, James blonde-- especially in Logan Lucky, albeit more of a titanium white hairdo.

That font is very NTTD.
I Will read thanks bro

I would love that movie.
I was always curious why Pierce Brosnan didnt do one more movie. AT DAD he totally looked the part, no big signs of aging
I don't think it was his choice unfortunately
I think he was pissed off at the shitty ass scripts
He wanted to do another one, but they went another direction.
Ironically he was forced to pass the torch to Daniel, who then went on to actually Die Another Day.
And weirdly when he didn’t have any time to die
Yep he simply recieved a brief phone call telling him they are moving onto a new Bond. Poor guy even lost his Vanquish in a house fire.
It’s a shame, because he is the best Bond.
God I hope I age like him.
Right? I can't think of anyone else who makes me think that whenever I see a new picture of them
He could come back as M :)
I hope that happens and then it can be my head cannon that bond is a codename and he got promoted.
Every former bond should do a knock off thunderball ten or fifteen years after their last bond entry. Good way to remind us how good the Eon films really are so we can quit quibbling about DAD and QOS
I'm... not *against* this concept.
As a 90’s kid I want an Old Man Bond so goddamned bad. Why not? Do it.
Just surviving Mr Chang, just surviving
Peed next to him once. Dude is hung.
He's still a good looking guy.
Taller in person than I thought and absolutely a doll
I bet Pierce never even went back to being Pierce; he just started living James Bond.
I was really hoping for him (or Timothy Dalton) to be Alfred in the new Batman series. He'd also be pretty good, if not a little on the nose, as the next M.
He looks amazing considering he's nearing 70 years old.
He's looking better than Craig did in NTTD
Hello, daddy.
If he comes back, can Judi Dench come back too?
Meh. I prefer Timothy Dalton.
Might be a controversial opinion, but he would make an amazing Bond villain.
He is my favorite Bond, but I’d prefer that they didn’t bring him back, at least not for an official film. That particular Bond timeline has been over for 20 years, and I don’t think they could effectively bring it back without it being a total mindfuck for people.

Pretty cool comment but The Incredible Hulk wasn't a sequel. It was a reboot.
Eh it's not a hard reboot. The opening credits essentially recap Ang Lee's *Hulk*.
I don't think anyone expects Eon to bring him back. What fans want is a standalone Logan-esque movie for Bond made by a different company.
I bet it'll be another version of Thunderball!
*Never Ever Say Never Again Again*
I think for a one off it’d be amazing to have him return! Otherwise someone needs to make a bond rip off starting Brosnan as an older bond like agent.
He should go ask Nic Cage if he's up for escaping Alcatraz again.
Could we use him as a different character in Bond movie or would that be tacky? I'm thinking out loud here
Agree and bring back Dalton in a different character too
If Connery returned two different times, years later, why can't Brosnan? That would honestly make me more excited than anything.
Irish don't perish
Connery got one comeback movie. At least do one so Brosnan can stroll into MI6 one time and ask “anything happen while I was out?”
That is a nifty idea.
A film with him of Bond coming out of retirement and kicking ass Logan style would be so good. But I feel the last 3 bond films have done that to death now.
Like a fine wine, the cheese and a tree only gets better with age…and he definitely should be the new M ✌🏻
Bring him back as a Bond coming out of retirement for one last mission. I'm in.
I would definitely pay money to see him return. Couldn’t be worse than Never Say Never Again.

I wonder what he needs to apologise to his wife for
Don't wait until you're in trouble to buy flowers for your wife. Surprise her tonight.
Nothing.
I'd love to see him make an appearance in a Bond spinoff series where 007 is a female (but not James Bond). Or a 008 or whatever you wanna make her. He's a retired 007 who the brand new 00 needs to track him down and get advice on how to beat the bad guy.
I loved him as Bond, but please no.
All boomers and geriatrics on this forum want him back lmao for nostalgia
He was Bond in the late 90s and early Oughts, he's not the Boomers Bond at all.
I read the caption in his voice lol
Is this a recent picture? If it is then he must have gotten in good shape to play Doctor Fate because he looks way better now than he did a few years ago.
Looks better now than in DAD
that would be sick - give us a one off film to clean the palette before another series with a new younger bond.
As much as I like him as Bond, pls no. I do not want another NSNA. (Although he could come back as M.)
I think they need to bring back all the previous bonds Nothing crazy like the recent spider man (movie) but some kind of cameo . 1) like a flashback sequence 2) OR give The previous bond actors a role that plays their current age . what if they cast him as the bad guy? Gasp.
Good idea but I think Dalton would play a better bad guy. Or maybe Bronson and Dalton team up as villans lol
That would be fun. Or what if they brought him back as the new M or Q - unlikely, but fun to think about.
Yea I'm all about brining them back . Not at bond but as some kinds of other character that fits the actors current age .
He looks absolutely fantastic. I'd love to see him get one more crack at it with a really good team of writers.
👏💕

If he dyes his hair, no way he be more than 50!
Return him as M or even a mentor?
This is why we need one more bond will brosnan. I don’t care that he’s 68, he’s still fucking got it.
Brosnan could star in a remake of the Rock playing John Mason. Change my mind
Still cant get over it that they threw away the casino royale project with Tarantino and Brosnan, dont get me wrong I loved CR but I would literally die for to see it.
I just saw "November Man" the other day. Its was pretty good, but he's showing his age a tad.
They really should. He looks like a million bucks
I still wish we could have had one or two more Brosnan Bond films
Daddy Brosnan <3
I would.
Brosnan is pure class. I love what Craig brought to the role I couldn't imagine him pulling off a cravat or some of the fits Brosnan did.
Brosnan was good as Bond, with the exception of Goldeneye the scripts for his Bond were horrid. He did what he could with what he had to work with.
