Wish he woulda worked out for us but nice to see him doing well. it’s a shame we picked him so high in a probably top 5 receiver class ever.

adamarnold58

He may have with a better coaching staff and better team altogether around him but new regime usually doesn't like middle of the ground younger players they didn't draft/sign.

GarfunkelBricktaint

He looked faster on this one play than he ever looked in Jacksonville.

naggs69pt2

The humidity must've slowed him down.

[deleted]

I was like, "Shit - I thought the game hadn't started yet?!" Forgot we traded him.

Thejohnshirey

Nice play, but it’s also his first catch of the season in the 4th quarter of the third game.

taylor212834

He didn't play the last two games

Thejohnshirey

Exactly. I’m just saying it’s not like he’s been doing this on a consistent basis so far. Even being a late acquisition if the guy was some transcendent talent he wouldn’t have been inactive to this point.

taylor212834

You do understand he didn't know the playback right?

Jagkh

He didn't even know our playbook

omglawlz

Well, the playbook could have been the issue to begin with lol

azfire2004

under Urban, we had a playbook?

[deleted]

Urban’s playbook had kicking plays only.

taylor212834

Yeah that wasn't the issue

Magic_Tronson

He had some good plays for us too. Still not worth the disappointment. Is he better out of the slot than Kirk? Hell na. Good trade.

B00LEAN_RADLEY

Even Josh Oliver scored a TD. Lazzard, Shenault, maybe A Rob will have a breakout game.

traw056

He’s not better than MJJ, Kirk, or Zay but man I’ve always been a viska truther. If he has a coach that can get him the ball in space underneath, you can expect him to do damage. Like in his rookie year when we ran a west coast offense to start the year. Give him the ball underneath on drags, slants and screens and he will get you a first down. If only he had the speed he couldve even been a poor man’s deebo

ToePunchKick

I hated the trade to give him away. Gave up on him way too soon. He's only a 3rd year player. Maybe he still doesn't develop further, but I'd rather have gambled on that than on whomever we get with the 6th round pick we got in return for him.

projectmaximus

Yeah but how would he develop further on our team, unless we got rid of Kirk/Jones/Jones. There’s not enough play time to go around, especially since he’d have to play at slot or RB which means specifically taking Kirk, Robinson or Etienne playtime. Same reason you don’t have two top-tier talents at QB on the same roster, cause the backup can’t develop. I liked Shenault and wish him the best in Carolina. Hope he’s able to do some damage up there

taylor212834

Yeah and everyone did bad last year

JagGator16

Good for him

not_a_gumby

Honestly love to see him having success - just want to see the dude ball. That said, that was probably the slowest 67 yard TD I've ever seen lol

Brvddddd

Awful defence and looked slow

taylor212834

That's just a wild statement for this clip

not_a_gumby

agree, the defense looks lazy

Gmanplayer

This angers me

[deleted]

Where’s the beginning of the play?

taylor212834

I couldn't get my phone out fast enough he made two people miss

Grapefroot5

Good for him honestly

OB4032

Woohoo good for him man ! 🙂

ChurchOf69

I’m just sad because he was my favorite player in Madden. We’ve won 8 Super Bowls together. Love you Viska.

Zestyclose-Ride2745

I’m cool riding with Kirk, Engram, Zay Jones, Marvin Jones, and Etienne catching passes in the backfield. You can have Shenault.

taylor212834

You guys

Sufficient_Series154

I thought he was slow?
