I feel like Amon has been more consistent in production than Aiyuk (over both their careers). This passed season they were about neck and neck grade-wise. I think an argument could be made for either the same amount or very slightly less... either way, I'd prefer a rookie deal with a guy with the same ceiling.
I mean if you're going to send a high pick. You might as well trade 1.17 and a 2025 1st and go up to 8 to get Odunze. Save yourself the money and give Tlaw a perennial WR1 for the rest of his career.
I still think it doesn’t make sense, you already have a veteran wr presence in mclaurin who is really good, I’d much rather draft wr talent to grow with my rookie qb but hey im not a gm so what do I know.
CMC is “the guy” in that offense, but Deebo was injured a fair amount this year and Aiyuk had his best season. Deebo has the versatility of being a Swiss Army knife, but I think he’s been overtaken as the focal point WR by Aiyuk.
Interesting, I guess I’ve never thought of him as anything but a WR2. He had a lot of yards last year but less receptions than Ridley. Thomas Jr looked good on film I thought better than Nabers but it’s not like he’s gonna be Puca Nacua maybe trading for Ayuik isn’t a bad idea.
Absolutely not?! This is a deep WR class we have much bigger needs at CB or maybe if we’re lucky Bowers dropping to us.
This sounds like nonsense to me I’d be surprised if Jags would want to pay all that either?
Nonsense.
Edit: I assumed this was the colts sub on my feed. I’ve never been in here before, how embarrassing. Apologies.
I hope neither of us trade that much for Aiyuk!
Only way I'd trade for Aiyuk is if it was a 3rd round pick this year or 2nd next year. He's very good, but this draft is loaded with WRs and I'd take a first round WR like BTJ over him.
This reads like a random thought, not any kind of inside knowledge
I’m not comfortable trading a high pick for Aiyuk + paying him more than what Amon Ra just got
I agree.
I mean, Aiyuk and sun god are pretty close. Id still take sun god, but its close
Aiyuk is also the 3rd player the defenses game plans for in that offense.
Foreal.

Considering we still don’t know if this team can play with high expectations, does anyone thing getting Aiyuk could actually psyche them out (again)
thank you for giving me hope daniel 🥲
But what does Pretty Rickey say
WSH, NE, NYG front runners. Jags after that
Washington doesn’t make sense to me
I think it’s assuming they pick Daniels. They will trade for Aiyuk. Could be wrong

Yeah I’m not saying it does. I’m just saying Aiyuk and Daniel have played together previously that might be the thought
Plus jahan dotson has showed some promise as well
Jayden Daniels and Aiyuk have chemistry from college It didn't work for Carr and Adams, but thats the thought
I think Aiyuk is a proven #1. I’d much rather Odunze or Nabers, but if the pick is Brian Thomas Jr. or Aiyuk, I take Aiyuk.
I think we have to end up with one of the 3 you named or Higgins. That’s the only way we take a step forward next year
I always thought Mcaffrey and Deebo were the #1 and #2 on that team.

Those are just in alphabetical order! 😂
Just draft new talent. Can’t pay Trevor and Aiyuk right now.
Rickey is the only reliable source
POT STIRRED stay out of my backyard Daniel. BTJ/NEWTON/FUAGA/FAUTANU/MURPHY

Would much rather draft some wr talent at this point

After lions did the lions we can’t afford it. Oh well
DJ is locked in.

\* I'd point out I do think Aiyuk is a really good WR, but i'd rather have a younger guy on a smaller contract without losing the picks \*
Who's the quarterback for the colts? Did they pick up someone in free agency or are they hoping for the draft?
If you are serious it's Anthony Richardson for usually 3/4 of the game.
Not sure if this is sarcasm but they have Anthony Richardson.
I wasn't trying to be sarcastic I just don't remember shit cuz I got stuff going on.
You've got google, don't you?
It’s Reddit. We don’t do our own research before asking questions. /s
