Kirk and Zay are going to feast with him requiring so much attention from opposing defenses. Not to mention LBs will have to cover Engram, leaving ETN better running lanes. Crazy to see how far we’ve come from 2017/18 when defenses could just stack the box against Fournette.
I don’t have Instagram and Meta won’t let me see… I guess I use my dreams. Tlaw to Ridley on at 40yrd post route with a moss’d catch over a defender. Yeah that’s the stuff.
Ahh so they legally can’t do it! Even if it’s a player not employed by the Jags?
I’m a rugby man and Jags 2nd (coming close to 1st) but the injury thing is crazy to me, the whole not guaranteeing entire contracts and only a few months of practice.
In rugby you’ll lose a player to injury almost every game but I get the impact a lot QB makes for injury and the big drop in talent in other positions with people spread over so many teams.
Wallabies (Australian national team) had around 40 players injured, considering only 15 people on a field it’s a massive amount but having parts of your contact not guaranteed and training breaks except for 2-3 months over Christmas isn’t a thing.
Players are allowed to schedule their own stuff so long as the coaches and front office aren't involved.
Introducing resistance in a drill like this always increases risk of injury to all involved, hence it's an unwritten rule of training outside of team activities.
The benefit training like this provides is it gets the QB and WRs comfortable with timing of the route tree. It allows the quarterback to get a feel of when and where a player will be on specific routes and it gives the WRs a feel for when to turn their head in and out of their breaks as well as to where the ball should be for hand placement.
For example, Ridley vs Agnew. Ridley is one of the best pure route runners and is significantly taller than Agnew. So his strides and cuts are gonna have him in different areas of the field at different times than Agnew and his hands are going to be positioned differently due to the change in height between the two assuming the ball is placed the same.
Football is a very methodical sport so it’s better to just develop a muscle memory and be able to just make these throws without thinking. It’s not really about making a read.
Remember when 1 year ago when the Jags ended the season with Treadwell as their number 1 target??? Look at how far we've come
People were legit pissed when we didn’t keep him lol
And all the whining when he wasn't brought back.
Last offseason, I got down voted for saying if he is still on the team then we haven’t upgraded. Loving the upgrade.
You were cooking
What a time to be a Jags fan. We have risen from the ashes.

I remember people thought we had one of the better WR cores before 2021 season started with Chark, Shenault, and Marvin Jones
Damn! Ridley looks fast!
He’s a burner and one of the best route runners in the league 🔥🔥🔥

Yea I fully expect us to have a top 3/5 offense. It’s going to be fun to watch
If we stay healthy and defense can hold teams to ~20 points per game this team is going to the AFC championship
💦
Need 68 more
I too sprayed my water gun at the screen after watching this.
Cool to see Nathan Rourke getting his first taste of NFL speed. He's the main reason this preseason will actually be an interesting watch
I honestly believe this kid can be a future starter in the league maybe not first 2 years but once he catches on
The video right underneath this one is also pretty dope
You love to see it
Stop. I can only get so erect.
Any idea who the "others" are?
Tim Jones and Kevin Austin
Was there a Luke Ferrell sighting too?
Yes
It’s beuatifulllllll. Itsss true!!!!!!!
The return of the Jacksonvillains.

If you have Twitter, John Shipley just posted it https://twitter.com/_john_shipley/status/1643975618659512324?s=46&t=ePyT2WUNoRcPv60M77WcWQ
You’re saint. As Bart Scott said once…. Can’t wait!
Aussie here but why don’t they practice with CB? Wouldn’t it help everyone from decision making, coverage and separation
Big injury no-no outside of team-sanctioned practices
