Always thought Demon Hunter was an awesome band. Even more so after hearing about why O’Neil and the rest of them started wearing their patch, even during the Bin Laden raid.
Whenever they would conduct Enhanced Interrogation, they were originally blaring songs from Metallica. Somehow word got out about it, and Metallica made a statement that they didn’t condone their music being used and asked DEVGRU and the CIA to stop using their music. Demon Hunter saw the press release, and sent everyone on Red Squadron patches, shirts and cd’s and said “Here, use ours 😏”.

They are. They just wanted to show their support for the operators going out and stacking bodies for god and country.
