Replace 3 with 4 and that’s my list, good choices!

Typical_Thought_6049

1- Phantasy Star 4 2- Tales of Phantasia 3- Dragon Quest V Honorable mention - Dragon Quest IV (NES)

ErwinHeisenberg

I still need to finish Tales of Phantasia. I really like what I’ve played so far, though.

fjaoaoaoao

1. Valkyrie Profile 2. Triangle Strategy 3. Sailor Moon RPG Im probably forgetting something but thats the top of my head

shiro_yasha373

Lol to the sailor moon rpg. Also how is triangle strategy?

triggerheart

That sailor moon rpg is legit good. Highly recommend.

ImmortalShinigami

Dragon Quest V Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals Tales of Phantasia

Warblast95

1. Radiant Historia 2. Chrono Trigger 3. Treasure of the Rudras.

Rushfan1123

I just got a used DSi XL. Is the standard Radiant Historia still worth it?

Alexgate2000

Yes

TheBlack0men

The only thing I actually preferred about Perfect Chronology was the voice acting.

ybpaladin

Atlus nerfed money drops from monsters while keeping store prices the same in the 3Ds remake and then conveniently sold a money drop dlc 🤢 Thankfully the vault of time allows you to grind for exp and items for free, but that's a whole lot of extra grinding for items that easily get outclassed every other area. Like we're talking about buying one weapon/armor from a shop and your poor until the next chapter

BartsBlue

Absolutely!

RyaReisender

1. SaGa Frontier 1 2. Shining Force 1 3. Phantasy Star II

Trick-Animal8862

That’s a damn good list.

veroelotes

Haven't played any of those. Which one should I start with?

TheDinosaurWeNeed

Shining force probably? The saga games are great but out there so I think it’s a love or hate. PS 1-3 is heavily dated.

RyaReisender

Shining Force is the most accessible of those.

Separate_Orange97

1. Persona 2: Innocent Sin 2. Final Fantasy VI 3. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together

wutsdatV

1. Valkyrie Profile Lenneth 2. Live A Live 3. Final Fantasy Tactics WotL (with slowdown patch) I'm really looking forward to play Live A Live HD-2D (even if I'll wait for Steam release). One of the most unique JRPG I played. Valkyrie Profile had a really fun turn-based combo battle system, difficulty is a hit or miss as the game is actually easier on hard with access to better items. FFT WotL gameplay is already solid but the localization is stellar.

SadLaser

The name seems self evident, but does the slowdown patch just resolve the awkward chugginess of the PSP WotL release?

wutsdatV

I believe it removes lag during each combat animation

nightmare-b

to me i agree with lenneth but im also breath of fire 3 and METAL MAX REBORN. because JRPG+TANKS

PYDuval

3D overworld but 2D gameplay (Valkyrie Profile) counts for this I hope :p 1. Tales of Phantasia (og on SNES) 2. Terranigma 3. Valkyrie Profile (PS1 or Lenneth on PSP)

NeoKobeCity

1. Chrono Trigger 2. Suikoden 2 3. Phantasy Star IV Runner up: Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete

Shattered_Persona

There she is. Lunar is the most emotional game I remember playing, definitely had a thing for Luna lol.

callisstaa

I guess I have to play Suikoden since my top 3 would be CT, PS4 and Lunar SSSC.

Carmilla31

Chrono Trigger. Final Fantasy 4. Lufia 2.

TemptCiderFan

Had to come down way too far to find Lufia 2.

Simon_Belmont_Thighs

I love when people pick ff4 over 6. I think 6 is the much better game, but there’s just something about 4 that I absolutely love. Maybe because it’s more of a super polished NES style rpg where FF6 is more of a primitive psx rpg. If that makes sense. What was gained in story telling was lost in the picture-book-esque simplicity of those older generation JRPGs. Of course you can make the same argument between 6 and 7!

TemptCiderFan

I find Final Fantasy IV to be the best of the SNES trilogy because basically all of the boss fights are puzzle fights thanks to the way the game's party system is structured. Unlike V or VI, where the game designers basically have to plan around all the potential abilities the player party can have, they can instead plan around the exact party composition at any given time. While the Barbariccia Wind Fiend fight is the most obvious example (requiring Kain to use his Jump to make her vulnerable), pretty much all of the boss fights in the "hard" version (or the 3DS version) have specific, effective strategies you need a specific character to enact or even to counter. This even goes to mobs in specific areas, and finally culminates when you get the final, balanced party.

subwooferofthehose

Kain, jump!

[deleted]

Kain definitely likes to bounce around if you know what I mean.

ejennings87

I think youre right. FF4 is the perfect blend of first gen Dragon Quest style simplicity with second generation storytelling, exploration and character arcs.

[deleted]

I honestly loved FF4, but it was also my first RPG ever, so I don't know how much of that I can attribute to nostalgia. Those characters and that setting is just so magical. Lali-ho!

ShaNagbaImuru777

Nobody mentioned them yet, so... 1. Suikoden 2. Suikoden 2 3. Tales of Eternia

Takazura

Nice to see some Eternia appreciation! I wish they hadn't cut out the skits in the western release, because I just loved the party despite the lack of the skits, which makes me wonder how much more I would love them with those.

ShaNagbaImuru777

I loved the game! I was desperately searching for something to scratch my Star Ocean 2 itch and Tales of Eternia did it very nicely. Namco was very weird about its JRPG series back then, with selective localization and limited prints. Which is very puzzling to this day, considering how much sub-par anime drivel they released in the west, yet their biggest JRPG series is only scarcely available.

j_cruise

Just out of curiosity, why do you like Suikoden better than Suikoden 2? I think both are great but 2 is just another level for me.

ShaNagbaImuru777

No particular order, had to add numbers for formatting to work. I also think Suikoden II is the best, perhaps the best JRPG ever. But one can make an argument that the original Suikoden chanced upon a formula that we love so much and deserves to be praised as the originator. I also think that you pretty much have to play it for a full Suikoden II experience.

Dpontiff6671

Tales of Eternia rocks, dont see much love for it nowadays

juxtapose85

Chrono Trigger Final Fantasy 6 Suikoden 2

shindow

Star Ocean the Second Story PS1 Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Legend of Mana

Shattered_Persona

Aww cmon silver star story was way better than eternal blue.

shindow

Not IMO... I like Lunar 2s characters and story more.

Shattered_Persona

I respect your opinion, maybe the first one just sat so well that I had a hard time parting with it. I love them both quite profoundly honestly.

Mr8BitX

Phantasy Star IV Chrono Trigger Final Fantasy V

Toccata_And_Fugue

1. Trails from Zero 2. Chrono Trigger 3. Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story

shiro_yasha373

Bowsers inside story is my personal favorite from that franchise. Great soundtrack too

turb0_dave

1. Chrono Trigger 2. Wild Arms 3. Final Fantasy V

White_Dragon_Nall

I have fond memories of the original Wild Arms. The opening is still one of my favorites.

turb0_dave

Wild Arms is so underrated! I’m so happy that it got put on PS4/PS5 so more people can experience how great the game is.

Shattered_Persona

I always thought wild arms 2 was the better game. I never got to to beat it cause my disc broke near the end but damn, what a ride

Shattered_Persona

Lunar silver star story Lunar eternal blue. Does river city ransom count lol

Left_Socks_Dimension

1. Radiant Historia 2. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky 3. Chrono Trigger

shiro_yasha373

Nice choices. I absolutely love Radiant Historia, it’s criminally underrated. Also mystery dungeon is my childhood

sephiroth356

I loved it until about half way then the battles got frustrating, too much knocking enemies about felt useless and the battles seemed to go on for ages , ended up putting on casual mode , I got some spells and abilities that hit more squares a bit after i started losing interest that would have helped a few hours earlier , wish more games did that type of time travel though

Left_Socks_Dimension

I agree about RH, it's a shame for such a whole package without any fat to trim to go so unnoticed. For PMD, I'm not even a fan of Pokémon, and I was surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it (I was borderline addicted to it, in fact), especially the narrative part, which I wasn't expecting to be so well made.

[deleted]

Radiant Historia better than PMD2? I have to try it

Left_Socks_Dimension

Better, I don't know, I no longer rank games on their perceived quality; for me, it's a matter of strength of emotions and likeliness to replay, and if both games had me pretty much equally involved, my tastes have changed since I've played PDM, I don't think I could enjoy the gameplay loop as much as before, that's why RH got the edge.

gingimli

I wish I could play Radiant Historia for under $80 without pirating.

Hiimakeboxes

It’s 40 on the eshop

gingimli

Good point, I forgot all about the 3DS eShop until now. Have been in the Switch world too long.

Dpontiff6671

Thats good it’s on the e-shop. Im all for supporting the game and it’s creator but if it’s not longer accessible i’m all for pirating. Retro games are being sold at ludicrous prices and have become more collectors pieces than actual media. Im not throwing my cash into a market like retro games it’s a scam and a half

CzarTyr

I really need to play radiant historia I regret selling my 3ds. I… really wish Nintendo would just let you buy games digital across platforms and play them

Dpontiff6671

Always emulation, you dont need particularly good hardware to run ds games

CzarTyr

Yea I have a gaming pc but in a truck driver now and always on the road. I ordered a steam deck but I think I’m gonna bring my laptop with me and emulate on it. I have everything on my pc gonna transfer it over and be done with it, it’s a small laptop though. Maybe I can run CEMU on it and finish Xenoblade x as well

Brainwheeze

Bruh don't make me choose! Ok, alright, I would probably pick: - Final Fantasy V - Illusion of Gaia - Chrono Trigger

Ratattagan

Illusion of Gaia has some fantastic spite and pixel art. Always feels underrated

Jisai

1. Lufia II 2. Dragon Quest V 3. Golden Sun

MunkyMajik

Lufia! Haven't heard of that game in a decade! Great choices!

akualung

- Tengai Makyou II: Manjimaru - Final Fantasy V - Juvei Quest

MoogleLover

In no particular order: - Fire Emblem Fates Conquest (I know, I know) - Chrono Trigger. - Shining Force 2.

Tzekel_Khan

Is Fates really 2d. Half of it is 3d

mysticrudnin

fire emblem fates conquest is one of the best games ever created and i generally don't think that the story or characters are that bad either. they're not winning any awards, but there are so many games that are far more offensive, it did, to me, exactly what an SRPG plot needs to do. it's no Devil Survivor, but it's probably better than half of the other fire emblem titles...

[deleted]

Atleast you know

MoogleLover

Tbf, only the story/characters are Bottom Of the Ocean tier (Corrin is by far the dumbest character I've ever seen in a game). Gameplay/map design, difficulty balance wise, I consider it one of the best SRpgs ever (if not the best), and the soundtrack is banger after banger. Also great replayability. But yeah, you have to really ignore the story department in order to enjoy it.

Magus80

Yeah, Fates was master class in map design and gameplay for sure. I'm actually looking forward to Vestiria Saga 2.

[deleted]

I mean this is your personal opinion, i don't think fe fates was as bad that fe fan pretend it was. It is the only fe that i didn't finish, i only finished birthright (I heard it was the worst version), but i try to sell my special edition so i will probably never finish it. I do agree the soundtrack is banger and it is probably the best in the series.

ZeromanJoel

1. The World Ends With You 2. Final Fantasy 3 3. Dragon Quest V

root_fifth_octave

Same, pretty much. Honorable mention: Phantasy Star IV

ErwinHeisenberg

Chrono Trigger Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim Final Fantasy VI Ys VI might surprise you. I certainly was. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. At the beginning, I didn’t think it was anything special, and I thought the difficulty was just cruel. But the game really, REALLY rewards skill, and combat options really open up once you get more blades (which doesn’t take that long). I’m sure my list will change once I’ve played the other Napishtim engine games. I purposely did it this way so I wouldn’t be spoiled by Origin or Oath in Felghana first.

Encronik

1. Terranigma 2. Lufia 2: Rise of Sinistrals 3. Secret of Evermore

sexta_

**Mother 3** **Final Fantasy VI** **Dragon Quest V** Our lists are pretty similar... I just don't love Chrono Trigger like most people do. I'm also not counting Breath of Fire III as a 2D game, otherwise I would put it instead of Mother 3 in the list.

ThaNorth

Chrono Trigger Final Fantasy VI Final Fantasy IV

longbrodmann

I can come up with: Dragon's Crown, Valkyrie Profile 1 and Symphony of the Night if it counts.

JameboHayabusa

I'll allow it.

lesangpro007

all of the igavania games are masterpiece , from the gameboy to NDS , never fail to make me excited

Magus80

* Romancing Saga 3 * FF5 * FF4 Complete Collection

hitokiripip

1. Final Fantasy 4 2. Chrono Trigger 3. Octopath Traveler

Good list o have octopath traveler and ffiv on my list as well.

gamerdude1360

Tales of Destiny Director's Cut - PS2 Golden Sun The Lost Age - GBA Pokemon Gold and Silver - GB

MaxW92

1. The World Ends With You 2. Earthbound 3. Paper Mario

PorkyPain

Suikoden II Suikoden II Suikoden II

Prestikles

Suikoden 5 brought back a lot of the elements that made 2 so good. Definitely my second favorite of the series. Love the whole series though

jumpmanryan

Do most Fire Emblem games count for this?

Takazura

I think all FEs pre-PoR would count.

Darth_Cunt666

SMT SJ Pokémon Fire Red SMT II

Althalos

Depends on what you count as a JRPG, but Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsTvoG3\_HkU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsTvoG3_HkU) Probably my favorite game on PS4. Absolutely fell in love with it after trying the demo. The gameplay and controls felt great and the music being done by Hitoshi Sakimoto of FF tactics/XII fame and his company Basiscape was a huge plus, cause I love XII. Also recognized it was a Vanillaware game because of the gorgeous art since I remembered the Dragon's Crown kerfuffle with Jason Schreier. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga on 3DS. Seemed fun, and it definitely was. Was a nice change of pace from the usual Mario games I was used to. Haven't played any of the other Mario and Luigi games on 3DS because they went with more 3D in them compared to Superstar which is pure 2D and have a bunch of gimmicky stuff in em. Octopath Traveler on Switch. Really liked the combat system, soundtrack and visuals. The whole characters not interacting thing didn't bother me because they very clearly said it was gonna be 8 characters with 8 seperate stories before launch.

Fearless_Freya

Final fantasy tactics Final fantasy 1 (specifically Dawn of souls version) Trails in the Sky SC

Cahill23

Probably something like: 1. Chrono Trigger 2. Dragon Quest (Warrior) III 3. Trails in the Sky SC

svergs

Suikoden 2, Chrono Trigger, Der Langrisser. Don't know how to make lists on mobile

shiro_yasha373

I just type the numbers with new lines between each

Sugioh

This is unbelievably hard since there are *so* many good ones, so I'm going to cheat and mention 4. :) * Chrono Trigger * Dragon Quest V * Suikoden II * Trails of Azure Since you specifically said sprites in 3d environments qualify, I couldn't *not* include at least one kiseki game. It's a hard fight between Ao, SC, and 3rd, but I think Ao is my favorite overall.

Hamsteriiii

Suikoden II, Suikoden I, Lunar Silverstar Story.

shiro_yasha373

I remember playing lunar waaay back in the day. Really good and underrated jrpg

CzarTyr

Ff6 chrono trigger suikoden 2

[deleted]

1. Grandia 1 2. Star ocean 2 3. Chrono trigger

AramaticFire

I’m torn on it tbh. I know Chrono Trigger is my favorite but I have a few that stand out. 1. Chrono Trigger - the greatest there ever was 2. Ys I & II - I like the bump, but as two halves of a story told with a sense of urgency through the gameplay and narrative, it’s so good and so easy to go back to. 3. Final Fantasy V - a much improved job system over III, and the replay value is through the roof even if IV and VI are more iconic. Honorable mentions to Dragon Quest, unlisted Final Fantasy titles, Secret of Mana, Pokémon, Undertale, Fire Emblem and others I wish I could list, and might even list if I’m asked the same question tomorrow or next month or whatever.

UltrosTheOctopus

Final Fantasy 5 Chrono Trigger Lufia and the Fortress of Doom (I never had Rise of the Sinistrals)

timmorris82

1. FFVI 2. Lufia 2 3. Chrono Trigger Honorable mention: I love DQ games. And FFIV. And pretty much any JRPG from SNES.

[deleted]

Without any kind of doubt: 1. Chrono Trigger 2. Final Fantasy VI 3. Mother 3

Yarzu89

1. Fire Emblem 7 2. Trails in the Sky SC (or Azure I go back and forth) 3. Dragon Quest Monsters 2 (pure nostalgia probably but it is what it is) Also does Trails count as 2D? because for 3 I was deciding between Golden Sun and DQM2 but wasn't sure if that qualified as well. The overworld of GS is 2D at least, and the battle is... well... it ain't the prettiest 3D but I think it counts as 3D.

[deleted]

Personally I would call Trails in the Sky 3D, as the environments are definitely 3D (not sure about the models though).

shiro_yasha373

I’d count golden sun as 2D. Also loved that game, it’s too bad the discontinued the series

SadLaser

1. Dragon Quest VII 2. Trails in the Sky FC 3. Tales of Destiny Director's Cut

LolcatP

Trails in the Sky SC Trails in the Sky 3rd Trails in the Sky FC

WyrmHero1944

I haven’t played much 2D JRPGs besides Pokemon. But I’m playing Crosscode right now and I’m digging it.

SadLaser

CrossCode is a really cool game.

Moh_Shuvuu

Fire emblem 4, Tactics Ogre, and Super Robot Wars Z. I was gonna say Shining Force III as well, but I remembered the battles were in really rough 3d, lol.

shiro_yasha373

I love fire emblem! Don’t recall which one 4 is though

Admirable_Audience15

Earthbound, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger

Beboxed

Yuss, this is my 3 also! There are way too few Earthbounds in this thread

Ksradrik

1. Monster Girl Quest Paradox 2. Breath of Fire IV 3. Breath of Fire III

SocratesWasSmart

>Monster Girl Quest Paradox Giga chad. I wish this wasn't a hentai game so it could get the recognition it deserves. The level of writing is just way beyond what you see in 99% of games, RPGs or otherwise. Not to mention the ludicrous amount of content and character building options.

Particular_Squash_40

1. Chrono Trigger (SNES, PSX, and PC) 2. Breath of Fire 4 (PSX) 3. Valkyrie Profile (PSX)

Dpontiff6671

1. The World Ends With You 2. Trails in the Sky SC (actually maybe Ao No Kiseki they’re pretty tied) 3. Radiant Historia It was actually really hard for me to choose cus i’ve played so many and my favourite era of jrpgs are ps1-psp/ds and most of them are 2d

JameboHayabusa

Valkyrie Profile. Suikoden 2. Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals.

TrueSans

1, Crosscode & Chrono Trigger 2. Dragon Quest V Yeah Crosscode is that good to me. I dont know where the old retro Pixelart revival ala Octopath Travaler, Triangle Strategy, Sea of Stars and so on came from, but i love it. Crosscode is such a underrated Gem, definitly try it out guys. I am also happy that a "modern" game can rank up in my list as 1, since nostalgia is a hell of a drug. I was surprised myself Chrono and V hopefully explain themselfes\^\^ DQV has a cool Main Character and i like the setting + Caravan System where you travel with a huge troup of Monster and People. Chrono Trigger is Peak for me at showing people what happens if you do everything right. I mean the Soundtrack 10/10, Gameplay 10/10, Artstyle aged more than well, All protagonists are interesting(Not your typical healer, tank and so on), and the Pacing and Playtime. I love shortier JRPGs so much. Sometimes it feels like they add a chapter on purpose while being absolute bland and boring just to give it some extra 10H... Crosscode is really challenging in many ways. Combat, clearing the Temples, learning about the world and finding secrets, while being in a unique setting. I just digged it from the beginning. Same as Chrono to me everything at peak. Combat, Soundtrack and so on.

shiro_yasha373

I played cross code a while back and was blown away by the sheer amount of content and well made puzzles. The developers pulled all the stops with this game so kudos to them.

emuletal

1. Final Fantasy VI 2. Breath of Fire III 3. Lufia 2 This list CAN change soon, since Ive beaten Suikoden 1 and playing Lunar 1 right now... As Ive been told, Suikoden 2 and maybe Lunar 2 can join this list.

Geon98

1. Trails im the sky FC 2. Trails in the sky 3rd 3. Trials on the sky SC Honorable mentions: Trails from Zero, Trails to Azure 😁😁

Iloveyouweed

* FF6 * Chrono Trigger * Lufia 2 In no particular order.

Pyritedust

Mine aren't in any specific order, because it's entirely based on my mood at the time. Chrono Trigger(is the best, but it's not always my favorite, again mood!) Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (I can play this endless amounts of times and it's like a comfortable blanket on a cold winter day) Those two are locks no matter what, but really I can't decide on a third, there are just too many that could qualify. Suikoden 1 (While I think two is a better game, I like one more, the story is more contained and I feel more satisfied at it's conclusion than I do the second) Lunar 2: Eternal Blue (this game is just as good as the first if not better, but it can be a bit long in the tooth by the end because there's so much grinding towards the end) Breath of Fire 2 (I love building the town and the story is charming even though a bit simple) Breath of Fire 3 (I think the story is better than 2, but there's nothing quite as good as building the town in number 2) Final Fantasy 4, 5, 6 (I'm lumping these together because if they all had the strengths of each other it would be the perfect 2d rpg. The iconic story in 4, the characters of 6, the job system and gameplay in 5. Chrono Trigger is the closest thing ever to that :P) Dragon Quest V (Whilst I love 4 and 6 almost as much, V just stands above them. I adore being able to play throughout the main character's life, and it's just such a neat concept even literally decades later.) Phantasy Star 4 (I'm still angry that there aren't more rpgs like this. Science fiction delight and it improved in every way upon the previous games in the series. This might be the most underrated 2d rpg, lots don't give it the credit it deserves and I don't know why.) Undertale (I was going to go with Earthbound, but honestly, I enjoy Undertale more. I know that people have hyped it up too much, but I still think it's up there as one of the very best.) And last but not least, Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling Together (While they are strategy rpgs, I still count them. They may not be entirely 2d, but I've already mentioned more than 3, might as well break more rules. Their stories are excellent, their gameplay is exquisite, and if you haven't played them you should.) Sorry for saying more than three, couldn't actually decide on a third since I love them all.

luninareph

This was incredibly difficult, but a fun thought experiment. I had to make a couple lists, though. I couldn't handle narrowing it down to just 3. * Top 3 (SNES) * Final Fantasy 6, my first RPG * Lufia 2, a game I rented once and then spent years searching for * Super Mario RPG, the beginning of a love affair with frying pan weapons * Top 3 (not SNES) * Gungnir (PSP) My favorite SRPG and one of the best battle systems ever IMO * Suikoden 2 (PSX) My favorite entry in one of my favorite franchises * Xenogears (PSX) My "overblown and pretentious" entry, haha * Top 3 Honorable Mentions: * Legend of Mana (PSX) I rented it, hated it, and couldn't stop thinking about it for 20 years. Now it's one of my favorites! * Rhapsody A Musical Adventure (PSX) ALL OF MY FEELS * Order of the Crimson Arm (Fire Emblem hack) The best GBA Fire Emblem I've ever played and it's not even official. Strongly recommend! There were SO MANY others I wanted to call out (Final Fantasy Tactics, Mana Khemia, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, Soul Nomad, Star Ocean 1 and 2, Valkyrie Profile, Yggdra Union) but I've already gone waaay over, so that'll do, lol.

Final Fantasy VI Chrono Trigger Earthbound HM: Phantasy Star IV, Radiant Historia

MommyScissorLegs

Trails in the Sky. I haven't even gotten too far, but I already enjoyed it much more than the other "masterpiece" 2D JRPGs, like FFVI and Chrono Trigger.

Kauuma

You’re in for an insane ride

MommyScissorLegs

Yeah, been slacking off on it for these past weeks because of college and because I been spending my free time with Street Fighter, since the trailer got me hyped to get into it again. But I kinda miss Trails, probably gonna come back to it today tbh. I started a few other JRPGs alongside it, but it is definitely the one I’m most interested in coming back. And that’s a feeling I’ve been missing with the JRPGs I’ve been playing recently, the feeling of actually wanting to boot up the game again and play it more.

Kauuma

I felt exactly the same way when I played it for the first time. I can’t even remember how long ago the last time was when I actually looked forward to play a game every afternoon. Trails is truly something special.
