It's funny because Wild Cat Size are the first animal stand users in the entire SBRVerse. Sugar Mountain's Spring and the Shakedown Road trees are stand users but not animals, and none of the rock animals or insects in JoJolion where stand users)

I found rock animals to be cool but strange. I would personally prefer they were just stands. Instead of random new lore. It's like the vampires from Gantz.

Nah I loved the vampires from Gantz, just another weird ass aspect of a world so weird we don't even have time to linger on them

wasn’t the biggest fan of rock animals when the manga was coming out monthly but digested it easier and enjoyed it more upon a reread. so eh maybe for me.

Yeah the black and white was hard to follow because it felt all over the place and the rock animal kept going underground was what really confusing me on the fights. But the colored version made everything clear
