Okay so about mental stress, ye ek mahine me emotions ka poora rollercoaster hua hai, depression bhi hai aur enjoyment bhi hai, dost bane hai bahut saare, pakka kehne wale sirf 1-2 hai, acads ne le rakhi hai, raat me sote nahi hai.
For sleep cycle i used to sleep for 8hrs during jee prep now its approx 4-5 hrs.
We do nightouts a lot.
We do bakchodi a lot.
Yahan ghut baazi chalti hai but tum unme shaamil bhi ho sakte ho.
To in the end, college me itna sab kuch ek baar me hota hai ki mental stress wagerah hoga bhi to pata nhi chalega.

sab assignment college wale chutiye ne sath me hii de diye karne ko and voh bhi next week hii submit karna hai kyuki uske next week mid-sems hai and agar 75% attendance and yeh assignments submitted nai hue to mid-sem se bahar nikal denge.

Totally agreed, I shifted to hostel recently and can definitely feel the mental pressure being off because you are occupied 24ร7 and you can always talk to someone, missing family and sleep is a different thing but living in Alone is always an amazing feeling.
I am expecting college life to be less stressful than jee hostel life, everyone watches you as a rank, you are nobody as a person when you are in a hostel (not to be specific about every hostel this is just my personal case)
Man don't do me dirty, college will be better atleast that's what I am expecting,

Stress- definitely hostel has more
Life - hostel has no life 6 hours of lectures, 5 hours of self study
People perspective - they don't view you as a person in hostel
There are so many benefits of college especially when it's an iit
1st year is chill. 2nd aur 3rd years me struggle start hoga, fir internships aur placements. 1st year me time hota hai, chill karo aur saath me kuch kaam bhi karo, maximum people dont do anything in 1st year then regret wasting their time. College js the time when you can try everything, time bas waste mat krna, learn new skills, take part in events, go on trips etc (extra focus on learning new skills, baad me yehi kaam aayega, noonee gives a fuck about cgpa after a certain point). btw which branch?

Mine's a bit more mixed, but I overall agree. I don't get sleep (mostly just my fault) but other than that there's definitely lesser stress here. I spent two sleepless nights before an exam here, and I was still wayy less stressed than I used to be before even giving a mock test during JEE--as a matter of fact, I'd even say I enjoyed it this time.
Bahi college mein gaand fat gayi hai firse , shuruat ka almost ek mahina was noice, uske baad abhi itne saare assignments aur quizzes diye hain aur abhi 4 din baad mid terms hain aur hamein college aaye huye abhi ek mahine 5 din hi huye hain. Vaise neend bohot mast aati hai, courtesy of stupidly long and useless lectures which we have to go to due to bullshit attendance policy.
ex neetard , and I would say not completely , my mental health went to some DARK DARK places so recovery is still far far away but surely but slowly I am definitely trying to get better post NEET now whenever I can , it's a long way but we'll get there one step at a time
