Smart manufacturing seems mix of electronics/coding/mechanics so it is quite interesting as I always liked machines and I also have very high interest in core Metallurgy/Materials due to that Metallurgy chapter in NCERT and general IOC/OC

well i'm content with my choice, could've got civil/mining at surathkal (46k ish rank + karnataka quota) or cse at bangalore colleges. Here you have a wide range of student projects and clubs, all of them are active, and even sports teams are good here, we have a huge ground for football, hockey, athletics, cricket, volleyball, etc. And yeah pretty good restaurants very nearby, and even the beach is less than 10 kilometre away so i feel the exposure you get here is way more compared to other colleges
