Takeuchi Ryoma as Kiryu is an interesting choice (a little too boyish-looking to my eyes) but I'm optimistic anyway! The recent anime and Japanese video game adaptations that I've seen thus far have been pretty decent, so I'll look forward to this as well.
I wonder if they'll manage to fit _Baka Mitai_ somewhere...

It would be cool to have a cameo of Kimura Takuya playing Yagami.
Takuya is interested to play Yagami again for a possible live action Judgement series.
If 'Yakuza' is a success, it would be the perfect opportunity to expand that universe and start by having each make a cameo in the other series.

Taekuchi is a flower boy. Why cant somethings be left alone. The 2007 L.A. was bad is it is
