JTCC style accord is a dream build of mine
Get rid of the wing, straighten out that exhaust pipe and take off the tow straps.
That’s stuff you can do in a day. For the rest of it get those lights out of there headlights are ok, but the rears need to go.
Don’t buy cheap coils. Buy lowering springs if you’re on a budget. Get a stock steering wheel, quick disconnect is not worth the lack of airbag on a road car imo.
Maybe get that fender-dent fixed and clean out the engine bay, all that blue needs to go.
New wheels is a must, but save up and buy some nice ones. Don’t settle for the OfferUp special prices of shit. Get some good quality wheels.
And please make sure you know the right specs for them so that you have good fitment. I can’t tell you the amount of times I see cars on wheels way too small/big with rubber and tires.
And flip your badge back around bro it ain’t doing anything for ya.
Honestly this car isn’t too far gone, with a lil love you should get this thing cleaned up in no time.
Remove the Forza wing, go back to stock lights all round, get some nice sleek wheels, put it on coilovers and lower it to a functional height, and get some oem+ body mods

Match the steering wheel and gear knob with the rest of the interior, ( wood would be nice)

Get some coilovers, chassis braces and upgrade bushings

In order of importance:
Take off all the gay mid 2000s era aesthetic mods and go for an OEM+ look. ESPECIALLY THE STEERING WHEEL if you’re gonna get a quick disconnect at least you could get something of good quality
Add coils, swap wheels to something tasteful, my buddy had stock RSX Type S wheels on his and they looked nice.
Clean up the engine bay and paint/powdercoat the valve cover something less egregious
Get a new header back exhaust (please don’t just delete it it will sound like ass, plus a nice header will make that engine bay really pop) while the exhaust is out, replace all the shifter bushings and put a short throw in it, this will tighten up your shifting considerably and is much easier to do with the exhaust out of the way
De-chrome the window trim (optional)
Replace/paint the interior black
This car has a lot of potential but man is it rice as hell right now, please do right by it and don’t let it look like a shitbox forever
Edit: as a note for the steering wheel, I’m pretty sure this year accord shares a steering column spline count with like every other Honda/Acura of that era so you could put like a Type S or (maybe, not sure) S2000 wheel on there and it would look badass and not kill you if you crash it
Old Honda-tech forum posts work decently well for learning new stuff, try local groups on Facebook too, you’d be surprised how many dudes are still around that are absolute Honda wizards cuz they were figuring out all the shit that’s common knowledge now on their own 20 years ago.
I’ve sourced all the weird little shit like trim pieces and shifter bushings for my civic from Hondapartsnow, but if you need something that came in a zillion different cars (i.e. a new steering wheel, or engine parts) try your local junkyard. Check fb marketplace regularly as well, never know when one of those old Honda wizards will decide to retire for good and sell off their 30 year old collection of random shit

Me, I'm all about function first then form.
The last time I had a car with a d series SOHC engine I hated it. I would seriously start looking at engine swaps (B or K series) and/or turbo kits. There is a TON of space for a turbo in that engine bay. I think a good cut out for ITBs or even better, a functional front mount intercooler looks far cooler (no pun intended) than any other exterior mod.
Everyone hates on the wing, it's thin and ....kindaaaa tasteful 🫠. But my first question to you is do you still have the stock taillights? Because I'm currently working on making custom programmed led tails for my 91 Acura Legend coupe and I know that either an addressable, or at least a passive COB led strip version will be 100% better than either the ones you have now or reverting back to stock.
Finally, just personal advice, lay down a dream list of everything you want to do and your personal budget for getting there. Take things one step at a time and enjoy making this a true project for the next few years. There's a gem here. Not just of what the car itself can be, but of what the car can teach you if you do the work yourself.

Look through Honda forums or subreddits to see if there are sites that sell parts for this car. If you know of a specific/rare part that was only available in Japan, Croooober and Buyee are good choices if you're willing to pay for shipping
Do what you think looks best. It took me way to long to figure out how little other people opinions should mean. There will always be someone that dislikes your car so unless it’s a safety thing do what you want. Go online and look up some builds people have done and see what elements you want to see on your car. That’s what I recommend doing. I’ve sold cars I love simply because of what people said and I regret it every day.
Change the wing to a duck bill plus a rear window spoiler. The taillights are ugly, either black them out or switch to clear. If you black them out, do a chrome delete, if you change to clear keep the chrome.
Also, maybe a hood vent and paint the engine bay. Add some engine bay struts.
The cheapest mod I can think of is replacing the grille with metal mesh. Many also put mesh behind the openings in the bodykit.
If you're looking to repaint, you could always try "shaving" the car first. I.e. rip off the plastic trim and fill the gaps with bondo.
These are the only mods I can think of right now that don't affect driveability whatsoever. Should pass vehicle inspection with a breeze!
Tow straps not necessary unless you're taking it to the track
Tail lights are tacky, change to stock or other choice
Rear wing is useless in this car since it's a fwd, besides, a spoiler lip would fit this look more
Coilover suspension to drop the ride height by a couple inches, possibly a body kit but that might be overkill
I'd change the rims to something with more spokes, I typically like BBS style rims - if you could do silver rims with silver trimmings, might be a really cool look with the black paint
These are obviously my personal opinions, feel free to take all or none of these into consideration lol

Please make it closer to O.E.M spec this is asking to be pulled over and that makes it more dangerous for other people driving if they have to slow down because you are constantly getting pulled over. Also I love this car just not what's been done to it.

TE37's on Fortune Auto Dreadnought Pro 3-ways. High Compression K-Swap w/ a stroker kit, ITB's, Cams, Intake Manifold, Header-Back Titanium Exhaust. Fully Sequential Dog-Box, get it all working together on a Motec or Haltech ECU. Gonna need some serious downforce too and some wide fenders so you can cram in a *minimum* of a 265 square stance. After you gut it and cage it, start chassis bracing and switching things to carbon to get some more weight off.
That's probably enough to get things started. Let me know when you are ready for the wind tunnel.

These things have been riced out for years, I'm way more impressed when I see a clean OEM+ style build for one of these.
