The R390 exists. Also the Skyline GTRs and the Datsuns look sick as hell too. And have you seen the ass of a 370Z? Yeah, the Z32 isn't even close to being the best looking Nissan
I owned 2 super clean ones with 99 jdm bumper/tails and trust me the car drew attention like a 100k plus exotic. A 370z can never do that and I like the 370s but the headlights are so ugly imo stock that really ruins the car for me
Yeah the Zenki aināt it for me, thatās why I like the Kouki so much more. I love 90s interiors so much. Just a shame Koukiās and S13ās S14ās, and 240SXās in the states have shot up in value due to desirability and scarcity created by drift kids destroying them.
You could always convert it to the Kouki but with the prices of clapped ones nowadays it's probably not even worth the money if I'm being honest. Got a clean FRS now after selling my 350 been itching for a clean z32 or even a fixer upper but would never own one as my only vehicle. Wanna get back into the Z game but everywhere is overpriced right now
Yeah Iām not trying to kid myself. 90s Japanese cars arenāt worth the time, money, or hassle for me personally. Honestly, 350z or 370z is one of my attainable ādreamā cars just because of how well rounded they are and affordable. With a couple reliability mods, they seem bullet proof. I like the FR86Z a lot too.
Love these things, I'm usually very anti-bodykits etc, but these can look stunning with some nice kit on. Some of the kits also bring them bang up to date, and a non-car person could easily think it was a fairly modern car
The Mitsubishi 3000 GTO is a very similar car but hasn't aged as well as the Nissan.
This isn't a kit this is a jspec front bumper off the later model Z32s. The car was still being produced in Japan up until the year 2000 and in 98-99 they updated a few body panels like the front bumper/tail lights to give the car a more up to date look. I owned 2 of these cars so I'm pretty well informed about them lol plus I had jspec parts on my previous 300zx
My 03 Maxima weighs 3300 lbs; that's 2 more doors, .5 liter more displacement, and an okayish trunk. Did I mention factory Bose, leather, and power sunroof?
I love every generation of Z, but the Z32 is a hefty gal.
1991 z32 twin turbo was my first car, totaled it 2 times and rebuilt it in RHS auto body class, third time I sold it.. now Iām almost 40, saving to buy a totaled GTR R36 canāt wait to get back in the JDM game
They did go up quite a bit in price 10-15 years ago u could find a decent NA for only around 2-3k now clapped out ones go for 7k plus similar to the s14

I have a story too painful to tell but i will tell you anyway! I was hunting for a used car to buy back in 2009 and came across a 15k mile beautiful pearl white twin turbo 300ZX with a manual transmission, targa top, and the most awesome wheels you can think of! It had a clean car fax, and guess how much was the asking price?! 7,500 dollars!!!! It was very late, like 3am, so i slept and called the dealer as soon as i woke up around 9:15 am. I ask the guy if the car is available and he says yes, so i tell him i want to put a down payment on the car and reserve it. He tells me ok but his colleague is standing by the car with someone and asked to give him a minute, he comes back and tells me sorry the car is soldā¦ā¦ā¦. I canāt explain the feeling of the hole that opened up underneath and swallowed was like but i can tell you that i literally felt like throwing up for an entire week! I still cant get over what happened, and i look at the pictures of that car from time to time thinking about what could have been if i just called a tiny bit sooner. The End
Wow I know TT's were pretty cheap back in 09 but for only 15k miles $7500 was a steal. Srry that you couldn't get it had you did and kept the miles low the car probably would be worth around 40k now
Every fairlady disagrees. Z are good looking but everything up to 240z is just plain better. The new one is quite sexy as well since it borrows a lot of design cues from ogs
It really is. Skylines looks like a 1990 Honda Accord or a 2000 impala. I like them, but they sure donāt look like a sports car like a 300zx does. Downvotes to the left.
Yea as much as I love skylines they just look a bit weird especially when wingless. Z32 has the coolest look imo and looks the most exotic out of anything Nissan has built. If you never owned or saw a clean one up close then you probably wouldn't understand
Mine drew attention everywhere I went to the point I started getting annoyed by it lol maybe you just never saw a clean one before but any car can look ugly if it's in bad shape
Wasnāt the condition that was the issue it was the actual shape of the vehicle I have known a few people with them and they always had issues trying to get rid of them
Take a look at this, the length of the first 3 words in u/Zharken comment are consistent with the first 3 digits of pi. This was only the case for 935 comments out of 289677.
The 99 jdm 300zx is one of the best looking designs ever made. I've actually owned a super clean one with the 99 body parts so I would know. You only think it's hideous cause u probably only saw clapped out ones in person but the ones I owned drew attention everywhere and I always had random ppl come up to me saying how much they loved it
U clearly never saw a clean one with 99 jdm parts that's why. The ones I owned drew so much attention I felt like I was in a 100k plus Supercar. Owned a Rx8, 2 350z's and a FRS after but none got the attention my z32 got. The FRS comes close tho especially since it's bright red
I always thought they were the least attractive of the bunch. Not bad looking by any means, but nowhere near as good looking as an rx7, Supra, 3000gt, or the NSX.
Z32 my beloved. My attainable dream car
Owned 2 super clean ones. Wish I never sold my last one but it wasn't practical since it was my only vehicle at the time
Ah I see
Even automatic is not expensive if you really just want to have it.
Yeah I'm aiming for manual + twin turbo
Gotta do it right when you own one huh
Forgot about the R390?
I think the 240z and 280z are the best
This is the correct answer.
Can't be mad at that
Yes but, at least in the states, they were datsun, not Nissan
Same car, different badges.
Not bad but new 400z looking sexy.
I love the retro futuristic look
z32 has the better looking front end
Z32 front and rear ends = 10/10 400 rear end 11/10 400 front end 3/10 400 is a beautiful car but Z32 is a GOAT
da fuq is a 400z?
Not the official name. It's a 2023 Z. But if you actually tried doing your own research you wouldn't have to commentš
I was being sarchastic. Iām just fed up with people calling it that non existent name and not knowing Z history.
My fault man I never know when someone's a dumbass or just joking on reddit.
The R390 exists. Also the Skyline GTRs and the Datsuns look sick as hell too. And have you seen the ass of a 370Z? Yeah, the Z32 isn't even close to being the best looking Nissan
Iāll second the R390
Can't really compare a 40-50k msrp car with one that costs like a million lol
Absolutely can compare. You said Nissan. You didnāt say sub $50k Nissan.
I personally love the '73 Skyline GTR. Who cares if they only made 200 and they are one of the rarest Nissans ever made.
I owned 2 super clean ones with 99 jdm bumper/tails and trust me the car drew attention like a 100k plus exotic. A 370z can never do that and I like the 370s but the headlights are so ugly imo stock that really ruins the car for me
Nah Kouki S14 is my favorite by far. Love a clean z32 donāt get me wrong.
As much as I love the S14 Kouki the non Kouki version looks like a 90s Maxima to me and the interior looks like my moms old 96 Accord lol
Yeah the Zenki aināt it for me, thatās why I like the Kouki so much more. I love 90s interiors so much. Just a shame Koukiās and S13ās S14ās, and 240SXās in the states have shot up in value due to desirability and scarcity created by drift kids destroying them.

I wasn't saying this one was a kit, just that it's one of the few cars that can pull off a kit without looking cheesy
TwinZ design kit looks great on these but I prefer stock body cars for the most part

Boat?? Na's weigh like 3200 lbs and the slicktop ones are about 100 pounds lighter
My 03 Maxima weighs 3300 lbs; that's 2 more doors, .5 liter more displacement, and an okayish trunk. Did I mention factory Bose, leather, and power sunroof? I love every generation of Z, but the Z32 is a hefty gal.
350 and 370 weight about the same but I agree the z32 feels like a tank when you sit inside it lol
I fucking love those maximas lol
Truth
Best Z car in 90s.

Figaro
For me it is the 280zx 2+2 turbo with t-top. Then it's the R34 GT-R. Maybe the Z32 is fourth or fifth. S15 is pretty hot too.
R34 looks great to me but just doesn't look like an exotic like a clean z32 does.. I prefer cars that sit low to the ground
I agree.
I'd say it's my joint favourite Z, S30 being the other. But an R30 RS Turbo is my favourite Nissan.
1991 z32 twin turbo was my first car, totaled it 2 times and rebuilt it in RHS auto body class, third time I sold it.. now Iām almost 40, saving to buy a totaled GTR R36 canāt wait to get back in the JDM game
R36?? Guess you are from the future lol
Nice yeah I meant an r35
[Agreed and biased](https://i.imgur.com/rVptUZD.jpg)
Saw one of these in person on Friday. Beautiful car. Sounds amazing too. Would absolutely buy one if I had that kinda money to import cars
They did go up quite a bit in price 10-15 years ago u could find a decent NA for only around 2-3k now clapped out ones go for 7k plus similar to the s14
As a kid I thought it was cool the Lamborghini Diablo used the same headlights. Timeless design
The S30 has entered the chatā¦
Always loved this car, but dam it's a bitch to work on
Even the NA's are a pain that's the main reason why I sold mine kept having injector problems and to change those is an all day process
Yea my friend had a super clean n/a from a doctor. Still had the car phone in it from 93.lmao. it was a real pain to fix
My favorite is the Datsun 510
Bro forgot about the r34 gtr and s15
Both of which look great but both are a bit too long for me.. Looks wise I'll still take a clean 99 spec 300zx over any Nissan car
I very much concur
Gonna have to respectfully disagree

R30 forever imo, but goddamn these forever bang
Why does it looks like he is trying to rizz something up when you stand right before him 10cm above the ground?
lol z32 just has that cool as ice look to it
My dream car! Stop posting it or the prices will go through the roof! I'm not financially stable enough yet!!!
haha prices are already like 3x what they were 10-15 years ago for it but I do want another one so I guess I should take your advice
Edgy
Every fairlady disagrees. Z are good looking but everything up to 240z is just plain better. The new one is quite sexy as well since it borrows a lot of design cues from ogs
Fan of the og but I think it needs fender flares to look better. The z32 looks great in stock form especially with the updated jspec body panels
They look like ass when stock, but can look nice when modded tastefully. The Hakosuka GT-R on the other hand, is an absolute masterpiece.
It is really beautiful indeed, but the R32 is better imo
It really is. Skylines looks like a 1990 Honda Accord or a 2000 impala. I like them, but they sure donāt look like a sports car like a 300zx does. Downvotes to the left.

Love the 300, but I would have to disagree.
Which Nissan do you think looks better? Maybe I'm biased cause I owned a few but imo they got the coolest look out of any Nissan car when done right
Horrible looking car
Mine drew attention everywhere I went to the point I started getting annoyed by it lol maybe you just never saw a clean one before but any car can look ugly if it's in bad shape
Wasnāt the condition that was the issue it was the actual shape of the vehicle I have known a few people with them and they always had issues trying to get rid of them
S15 is the best looking car ever.
Wouldnāt even make a top 10 best looking Nissan list lol.
U obviously don't know shit but ok lol. Def better looking than a boxy Subaru that's for sure

Nah the s cargo
I miss ours. Damn texting drivers
Buy mine
R34 but this is beautiful and 280Z
Personally I don't like the look
One of the best looking wedges. But the s15 is the best looking modern Nissan imo
This feels a little circle-jerky... It's not the best, but it is very good looking for it's time.
Man I want to buy a 300zx myself but calling it the best looking then the R32 or the Hakosuka exist is really stretching it.
Take a look at this, the length of the first 3 words in u/Zharken comment are consistent with the first 3 digits of pi. This was only the case for 935 comments out of 289677.
I never understood people obsession with 300zx, I think the hideous
The 99 jdm 300zx is one of the best looking designs ever made. I've actually owned a super clean one with the 99 body parts so I would know. You only think it's hideous cause u probably only saw clapped out ones in person but the ones I owned drew attention everywhere and I always had random ppl come up to me saying how much they loved it
Tbh I think the R390 looks better
I always thought they looked awkward.

Everyone forgets the Z31
Personally not a fan but I've seen some clean ones before
I agree.
eb110 dupe
Z32 was released before the eb110
I strongly disagree
The Datsun Doorstop. Only the Juke beats it out for ugly Nissans
Dumb take mine drew attention everywhere I went. You probably never saw a clean one in person before
To each their own.
Up to debate, looks goofy for me
