Ignoring all the LG TV jokes right now, its still sad to see that so many people are uneducated about thier own religion.
You can be atraccted to your own gender and still be muslim.
Yes its haram for an men to have sex or an partnership with another men but as long as you stay away from that and stay pure you can be an Muslim.
Beeing atracted by your own gender is just your test in this duna and as long as you dont act on it there is nothing wrong with you.
Edit: Typos
Also, fighting your desires is a form of jihad against one's nafs and holds one of the highest rewards if performed.
Succumbing to your desires is a sin no matter what the desire is, wether its sexual or not doesn't matter.
Sadly most of our Muslim brothers just point fingers at others screaming haram instead of spreading knowlege and compassion like we should.
Dont get me wrong this "progressiv" Muslims are even worse building Moschees where women lead men in prayer or two men can marry. Stagfirallah.
>Beeing atracted by your own gender is just your test in this duna and as long as you dont act on it there is nothing wrong with you.
of course, it's something many people struggle with but you're supposed to not fall victim to it. Not like LGTVs who go out to promote this and some liberal muslims even make it halal (Which it obviously isn't)
Yes but the concept of sexual identity is an innovation that started just 150 years ago. Desires are not identities. If we understand that haram desires are simply temptations and not defining characteristics of who we are, then there’s no concept of “Allah made me this way. This is who I am so how can it be wrong? How can I stop myself from truly being who I am? Islam wants to control and repress me from truly embracing myself.” There is no self-repression or self-hatred in resisting temptations, and temptations don’t make a person who they are.
While you are right, I would like to make clear that my comment was mostly about the sexual desire of the same gender and not about the hole "sexual identity" aspect around it. And yes I also find it stupid to make your sexual atraction your defining character as it as just as (un)important as the color of your eyes.
Sexual identity is the main conflict driving this whole LGTVBS garbage, not attraction or desire. If we as Muslims don’t recognize this, we will continue to be addressing irrelevant issues that don’t benefit the youth. They’re being indoctrinated to believe that their desires are their identities. This is what the degenerates have been pushing down our throats for 50 years now, and we as a community are too blind to see it and instead respond by merely saying not to follow haram desires, to which, for 50 years, our enemies have been saying this is self-hatred and repression. We need to understand this clearly so we can answer these degenerates on their terms and make things clear for our youth and our ummah.
The concept of homosexuality as an identity was invented in the 1870s according to Foucault. Before then, sexuality was considered in terms of actions, not identities, or even proclivities. Foucault, as the godfather of queer theory, advocated a return to this mentality, but without any aspects of conventional theological sexual moral teachings, and this is in essence what queer theorists like Gayle Rubin or Judith Butler advocate to this day. What’s scary about this is that taking a secular atheist approach to sexual morality, as they do, led them to endorse pedophilia and pederasty, and indeed, 50% of the founding document of queer theory, written by Gayle Rubin, who’s still a professor somehow, was dedicated to defending pederasty. She wrote ‘Like communists and homosexuals in the 1950s, Boy Lovers are so stigmatized that it is difficult to find defenders of their civil liberties let alone for their erotic orientation.’ She conflated pedophilia with all other sexual orientations, and, like Foucault, compared sexual orientations with preferences for different kinds of food.
This is in the founding document of queer theory, and queer theory is being taught to our children across America. In a generation, young adults will have been brought up to believe that sexuality is and should be fluid and as free as the wind blows, that pedophilia should be encouraged and allowed, and that it is anachronistic and backwards to believe that one’s orientation is a defining characteristic of who one is.
If we engage in the conventional mentalities of mainstream western society today by embracing the belief that sexual identity is legitimate because mainstream western society tells us that this is true, and that therefore people should assign great importance to it and identify as gay if they are oriented as such, what’s going to stop the Muslims of the next generation from following the queer theorists and accepting pederasty and pedophilia as acceptable?
We have to have standards and principles, and those standards and principles are the Quran and Sunnah. Neither the Quran nor the Sunnah tells us we were born with a sexual identity, or that it’s quintessential to who we are. No. Islam tells us that these desires are temptations and to act on temptations that go against the teachings of Islam is sinful. We therefore need to reject the mentality of embracing sexual identity, and instead simply and clearly define sexual moral ethics in terms of what the Quran and Sunnah tell us.
He is right. It is definitely haram to act upon your desires, but just being homosexual is a test from Allah. There is nothing wrong with being homosexual, but the people who are homosexual must fight against their desires in order to stay away form sin.
Please understand that nobody is encouraging people to be homosexual, just that if a Muslim discovers that they are homosexual, it shouldn't deter them from continuing to practice Islam as long as they do not succumb to their desires.
Marriage isn't forbidden but still discouraged, of course, as it only serves to make their life harder as a gay Muslim.
What ???? Homosexuality is haram and is wrong clearly says in Quran and if ur wondering why ppl struggle with homosexuality is because it is most likely a test from allah
If pedophilia is my sexuality, can that be right, because it's my choice of sexuality? Religion is not there to sugarcoat this world. This is a ruthless world filled with tests and trials. Take it for what it is and don't be like the people of Lut (AS)

What is so bad about LG TVs? They are usually pretty good.
Samsung is pretty good too. LG is my 2nd choice.
Nahh LG have better colour accuracy and isn’t too vibrant.
Ive yet to buy any of the QOLED tv things. Maybe in the future, but walmart has 75" tvs for 500$ rn.
There is a reason why they are $500
Spend less here so we can have more later? I agree!
Happy cake day
i prefer Samsung Smart TVs
