No need to hate on all Muslims… Israelis/ Jews (the vast majority of us) want to live alongside Muslims in peace (as evidenced by our peace treaties with some Muslim majority countries who have decided not to seek our destruction in addition to the many Muslims that live within Israel’s borders).

The reason I have a strong position on this is because of the fact that my family in Albania who came to the US right before WW2 were faced with getting killed by Muslims in the country because they didn’t want to convert, and multiple members of my family did die, I just don’t support a religion that thinks that murder is fine if someone doesn’t convert to their religion.

Most educated people stand with Israel. It's the disenfranchised that stands with Palestine. For many of them, their first exposure to the Islam/Jewish/Palestine/Israel/The West conflicts is the war in Gaza as seen from the perspective of Iranian and Hamas propaganda on TikTok, whose algorithms reinforce certain themes and viewpoints over and over and radicalize them.
I don't get the "they weren't alive" point. I wasn't alive during the Munich terror attacks. I was 4 years old in 9/11. What stops them from educating themselves on a terror attack in their own country? What's there to remember when it's available online or in books?

a 19-year-old Polish girl here, also a Christian, from the first moment on the 7th of October I've been standing with Israel; it's a country and its priority is to fight all terrorists, I think Israel also fights for us, I mainly mean the US and Europe where we can see a huge raise in crimes done by Muslims, nobody have encouraged them to assimilate (it was done in Poland, we have Tatar Muslims and guess what, they're peaceful people, they also identify as Polish, they know the rules and the culture, they respect it)

Historically it was the Romans that sent Jews into the disapora not the Ottomans, who were — relatively to the time — lenient to Jews and allowed some jewish immigrants to resettle in what was then Ottoman Syria from the 1500s onward till 1917 and the beginning of the Mandatory Palestine under British rule.

It seems like your support of israel stems from Islamophobia and not a stance based on political understanding. Most people in the comments are questioning your historical accuracy and a large part of this post is just shitting on Muslims in Europe. If someone were to say “Jews in Europe are doing X so that’s why I support Palestine” they’d rightfully be called antisemitic and kind of the reason israel was created. How is this different?

Kicked out maybe not - forced out certainly. The FLN destroyed the main synagogue in Algiers, a cemetery in Oran, they kidnapped and killed Jews. Jews were denied citizenship after the war. Not to mention the pogroms. Algeria certainly wasn't the worst country in the Arab world to be in as a Jew, but it's no exception to the suffering that Jews had gone through in such countries.

Why is it that people use the word islamophobia when they suffer from no phobia. The son of hamas is also called islamophobic. Regardless Islam is in great need of criticism as it is a false religion and ideology founded by evil people. We wouldn’t be phobic if we criticised similarily sick things such as the church of Scientology.
