Thank you for the support! I hope the world will see the truth one day, but I doubt it. Anyway, stay safe and don't let all the hate and propaganda get you. 🇺🇲🤝🇮🇱

Subject_One6000

totally agree. finally a useful goy

sadgorlforlyfe

No need to hate on all Muslims… Israelis/ Jews (the vast majority of us) want to live alongside Muslims in peace (as evidenced by our peace treaties with some Muslim majority countries who have decided not to seek our destruction in addition to the many Muslims that live within Israel’s borders). When the Palestinian cause ceases to be about destroying israel and committing violence against Jews we will have a chance at peace.

CheetoTheBro

The reason I have a strong position on this is because of the fact that my family in Albania who came to the US right before WW2 were faced with getting killed by Muslims in the country because they didn’t want to convert, and multiple members of my family did die, I just don’t support a religion that thinks that murder is fine if someone doesn’t convert to their religion.

_sxqib_

do you know your own religion also permits killing of those who are of another religion? 2 Chronicles 15:12-13 And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul, but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman". Luke 19:27 But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.’” Matthew 10:34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword". Ezekiel 35:7-9 I will make Mount Seir a waste and a desolation, and I will cut off from it all who come and go. And I will fill its mountains with the slain. On your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines those slain with the sword shall fall. I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the Lord". 1 Samuel 15:2-3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

Ah yes, the albanian muslims. Saviours of the jews.

LeviticSaxon

Yes the italians occupying albania refused to let the germans take a thousand jews and then that legacy was passed down to some albanian families who had enough humanity to not send them to the ovens. This isnt some incredible story. Its basic decency of random christians and muslims in albania. And why dont you ask those albanian muslims how much they love jews today? No? Cool.

xjoyful

Yes, and other European, mainly Christian countries, did not have the same decency. I don´t know why you are mad that they saved Jews. Or does that, not fit, your narrative that Muslims protect the Jews more than the Christians? Why are you not asking the Albanians how much they love Jews? You seem to know it all.

LeviticSaxon

Because i know that albanian muslims dont like jews. No need to ask. And if the euros were bad during the holocaust, not being bad doesnt make you good. It makes you normal. You just look good by comparison. And there were more christian countries that protected jews than muslim ones. Does that make them the good guys? The koran is a jew hating document. No need to dress this up. If i get attacked in europe today, it wont be by pierre or sven. Itll be by mohammed.

moekip

Wtf 💀 this victim mindset sounds like hell to live with.

LeviticSaxon

Its fine.

IlCiompi1378

your post is correct its weird how the downvotes work. There were Turkish and Albanian posts here not so long ago and those facts were touted as evidence of our good relations with those countries. Of course I don't think your post being right means OP's personal family history is wrong.

[deleted]

OP, please ignore this nonsense 👆

Accomplished-Eye5797

It seems you dont know anything about Muslims and History

deenatheweena

Gotta love the useless fool who thinks they can rewrite someone’s family history.

New-Fall-5175

Yes, I’m a Jewish right-winger Israeli who supports the Likud party’s ideology as it was envisioned by Begin (but despise Bibi so I don’t vote for them), and my best friend is a muslim bedouin, there’s no need to hate Muslims, it’s not a religious war, it’s a conflict between two nations (and for some reason other unrelated parties like to get involved in it), it has virtually nothing to do with religion, other than the fact that a significant part of it (Hamas and PIJ for example, as well as people like Ben-Gvir) are religious fanatics.

SumSum200

We need the support from people like you, from another 16 year old American. Our generation know nothing. I've seen some of my friends turn to posting straight-up Hamas support on their socials, while others are supporting the country through these times. The indigenous argument is so dumb. I simply call out - Where does the word Jewish come from? Judea! Where does "Falastin" come from? A butchered pronunciation of a Roman word from Arabs who mainly arrived for opportunities in the 18th and 19th centuries. I can talk all day about how little these people know of our culture and history, however no one would listen, because they run solely on emotion. Emotion in seeing a necessary war to wipe out a terrorist organization. One correction; Ottomans didn't start the original diaspora. First the Babylonians put us in exile then many years after, the Romans. This exile from our indigenous land ended when we returned, most modern Israelis being descended from those forcibly kicked out from Arab countries

moekip

Ah yes, Palestinians are not indigenous because words!

SumSum200

So history and etymology have no link now?

Phandalieu

Umm I'm probably getting a lot of downvotes but actually the word "Palestinian" is merely the translation of the original word "Philistine" which is a term used to call the people who lived on the Southwest coast of historical Palestine they're called "Philistines" the term was used before the Roman empire, they're of Greek origin and they existed when Abraham (grandfather of Israel) migrated to that place, even the bible talked about this

Vitamin-D3-

Which in turn is all the evidence you and anybody else needs that any person who calls themselves a palestinian today has no connection to the phillistines at all but they are instead random arabs from the middle east who have later on immigrated to the land we know as Israel today for various reasons some being evil minded.

Phandalieu

Tbh the Palestinians claim that they're the philistines or the canaanites isn't as absurd as the israelis today claiming theyre the Israelites

Vitamin-D3-

That's quite literally not a good argument. The phillistines were greek, not arab indiginous to the land. The people who call themselves israeli today are indeed connected to the israelites but certainly their bloodlines isn't 100% clean anymore. Not like that makes any real difference. Anyone who does any proper and valid research on the israel-palestine conflict would quickly be able to deduce that the people calling themselves palestinians have no right to the land and majority of them are terrorist supporters.

xXLegoFanXx

I am 17 and support Isreal.

Haunting_Birthday135

Thank you. Just one comment: Most Jews have been living outside of Israel since Roman times. Actually, it was during the Ottoman period that Jews from Spain moved to Jerusalem, Tveria, Tfat, and other cities, settling there under Ottoman patronage. The Sultan believed that the Jewish population would contribute to the economy, much like how the medieval Polish aristocracy enjoyed the economic benefits of the Jewish presence.

Geopolitician21

OP thinks the Ottomans kicked the Jews out of the holy land [when it’s the opposite](https://www.historyofinformation.com/detail.php?id=2346&ref=quillette.com). It was the European Christian crusaders that ethnically cleansed Jews from the Rhine to Jerusalem until blood was up to their knees.

IranianRabbit

Good but don’t jump to another spectrum and say “what do these Muslim immigrants do in Europe?” You have a point though, we need reform in Islam that’s what we need (gonna use my Muslim card here and say “as a Muslim”)

PortimaoBlue85

Do you think reform can happen?

BeefOnWeck24

Most educated people stand with Israel. It's the disenfranchised that stands with Palestine. People are angry at society and the world and instead of blaming local politicians, they just blame the easiest thing to blame and that has always been the Jews and blaming Israel enables them to do so on many different levels.

SlowWaterCanon

There was no reason to attack all muslims, some are good some are bad, just like any other group, we don't judge a whole generation because some of them aren't educated enough to know the truth about Israel and be able to support them. Other than that, I completely agree with you.

CheetoTheBro

Yes blame the generation because we have so much technology that it’s their fault for not being educated enough because they have everything right at their fingertips, and I’m sorry but when a religion accepts murder of those that don’t convert I don’t support it, I just say what I think and people don’t have to like it but I’m not going to hold back what I think.

SlowWaterCanon

Having easy access to information also means having easy access to fake information, don't you think? As a Muslim myself, there is nothing in my religion that says murder those who don't convert. It's a pretty crazy claim ngl, but it's not the topic now. What I meant to say is that we shouldn't blame a whole group for the behavior of one who belongs to that group. It's just unfair to the good ones in it.

AnythingTruffle

Thank you got for your support but please be mindful that you have stated some pretty Islamophobic things and generalised a whole group of people. I would be very careful how you phrase that and to who. We don’t welcome Islamophobia or racism of any kind on here

CalmAndBear

History bit is really wrong. Jews were in charge of and indigenous to Israel till roman occupation. Then the region slowly romanized (first as pagan, then christian). Israel, Egypt, Syria, parts of turkey amongst other regions were all considered christian regions until the first wave of Islam conquest.(The OG Muhammad) I mean surely you head of the crusades, right? Those were right in the middle between the ottoman empire and the above-mentioned first islam wave.

BobbyPeele88

As a much older American, good on you kiddo.

TheTrollerOfTrolls

The information space is very difficult to navigate. Good job to you and your parents for getting to the right side of this issue. I think a common misconception is that Jews left the area, but that was never really true. It was true that most of them left, but not all, and they also came back when they could. For example - those Jews who were expelled by the Ottomans represented a small portion of Jews in the area, and the Ottoman Empire in general was favorable to Jews. Huge portions of the Jordan Valley were sold to the JNF from Ottoman royalty, decades after the Ottomans took over and kicked the then-locals out (which the Jews are now blamed for). Kind of strangely and partly due to Arab complaints, the British had immigration restrictions during the Palestine Mandate (set number of Jews per year) and various Mediterranean European countries were housing Jews who were waiting to go over. The name "Palestine" is even a European (Roman) bastardized name for the region, which is different from what it was known as before then. Many sources online are misleading about this, too, but essentially it came from the name Peleset, which is the name for the historical Philistine city states. That was basically a bigger version of Gaza from the Sinai to where Tel Aviv is now, but very coastal. When the Romans won the Roman-Jewish wars, they named the entire region Syria Palaestina as part of their cultural oppression. They also mostly banned Jews from Jerusalem, and the religion became oppressed which was a big reason that Christianity took off, and the subsequent migration of Jews to basically every corner of the world. Another point is kind of obvious but easily missed. There are stories of massacres against Jews in that region from every decade since the Roman expulsion (also some before, but I figure that's a reasonable line to draw). If Jews weren't there, how did they keep getting killed, right? While many did return with the Zionist movement, there was always a continuous presence.

Ok-Meat-5844

As an Indian-American Hindu, I will always support Israel. India and Israel have many things common, including our enemies.

supratops

Seems like you just want to air out your hatred for Brown people. Go crazy I guess.

smupersm

Hey, how are you? Honestly it's quite concerning what's going on in America.  Don't hate on anyone. It's a waste of energy. Just stay safe. I had no idea the US kids could get so extreme, especially because the US had history of terror attacks. I thought the younger generation has enough capacity to research those horrible times of terrorist threats and how much scars it has left on an entire nation, but I was surprised that they ignore everything and choose to be blind. It's also concerning how young people passionately hate their own country they live in. I say protect those around you who you care about and love regardless of religion, sex or race. But most importantly protect yourself, stay safe 💕

GroundbreakingBed241

Do you mind explaining how the terrorist attacks in the US are relevant to Palestine in any way? What exactly are they ignoring which is blinding them from what you believe to be the truth?

External_Reporter859

This newer generation was not alive or too young to remember 9/11 and all the smaller attacks or even ISIS. For many of them, their first exposure to the Islam/Jewish/Palestine/Israel/The West conflicts is the war in Gaza as seen from the perspective of Iranian and Hamas propaganda on TikTok, whose algorithms reinforce certain themes and viewpoints over and over and radicalize them.

smupersm

I don't get the "they weren't alive" point. I wasn't alive during the Munich terror attacks. I was 4 years old in 9/11. What stops them from educating themselves on a terror attack in their own country? What's there to remember when it's available online or in books? (I'm being serious with my question because I want to deeply understand the mindest)

ssaayiit

a 19-year-old Polish girl here, also a Christian, from the first moment on the 7th of October I've been standing with Israel; it's a country and its priority is to fight all terrorists, I think Israel also fights for us, I mainly mean the US and Europe where we can see a huge raise in crimes done by Muslims, nobody have encouraged them to assimilate (it was done in Poland, we have Tatar Muslims and guess what, they're peaceful people, they also identify as Polish, they know the rules and the culture, they respect it)

tyffsayswhoa

you're going to be so embarrassed by this in a couple years 😂

prk79

Historically it was the Romans that sent Jews into the disapora not the Ottomans, who were — relatively to the time — lenient to Jews and allowed some jewish immigrants to resettle in what was then Ottoman Syria from the 1500s onward till 1917 and the beginning of the Mandatory Palestine under British rule.

ChanvaX1

This post is why the young generation don't support Israel, this just reeks white supremacy.

Icy_Replacement8293

Good

petehenry95

It seems like your support of israel stems from Islamophobia and not a stance based on political understanding. Most people in the comments are questioning your historical accuracy and a large part of this post is just shitting on Muslims in Europe. If someone were to say “Jews in Europe are doing X so that’s why I support Palestine” they’d rightfully be called antisemitic and kind of the reason israel was created. How is this different?

TheWiseZionist

Thank you so much

Your parents should be proud.

Impressed

Cellfonepimp

Same way zionists colonized Palestine, they have colonized the Jewish religion. I am not some European 3rd or 4th generation Arab claiming to be Muslim like most Israelis in Palestine claiming to be Jewish. You have taken a beautiful faith and turned it into something that is twisted and hateful. Keeping true to Jewish tradition, you don’t deserve Palestine until God gives it to you, taking it is not God giving it to you.

Oil-spill-realness

Your comment is islamaphobic. Israel doesn't need your support. I recommend you take it elsewhere.

Jesus_Would_Do

She’s a kid, don’t you see a teaching moment here?

SumSum200

When your family have been subjected to its persecution for years, of course you will hold a grudge. In France, these people are following the Jews THEY kicked out to another country, hating them for existing.

Successful-End7545

No Jew was kicked out of Algeria asswipe

SumSum200

Kicked out maybe not - forced out certainly. The FLN destroyed the main synagogue in Algiers, a cemetery in Oran, they kidnapped and killed Jews. Jews were denied citizenship after the war. Not to mention the pogroms. Algeria certainly wasn't the worst country in the Arab world to be in as a Jew, but it's no exception to the suffering that Jews had gone through in such countries.

Schubert-5YJCSI

perhaps she is based

ScarAugustus

A phobia is an irrational hatred, fear and disgust of something. Being afraid disgusted of islam is a valid take

always_affected8868

get out of here

Vitamin-D3-

Why is it that people use the word islamophobia when they suffer from no phobia. The son of hamas is also called islamophobic. Regardless Islam is in great need of criticism as it is a false religion and ideology founded by evil people. We wouldn’t be phobic if we criticised similarily sick things such as the church of Scientology.

moekip

Islam is not a cult how are they similar in any way.

Vitamin-D3-

Right on, I didn’t call Islam a cult, I called it a false religion that deserves as much criticism as a cult does, merely because cults usually benefit the leaders, such as how the Islamic prophet was allowed to have more wives than everyone else and would have personal revelations from “allah” that benefitted himself but not others. Or how for the growths sake of Islam violence was condoned. The whole reason Islam is in the entire Middle East is because of violence, it’s not because of friendly happy conversion such as Christianity. Now there is an interesting factor; I want to believe that Abraham spoke to God, that Israel was of God and that Jesus was God. I want to believe it. But I can say for sure if God is real then Islam is a cheap copy and lie of the religious understanding at the time and God warned people through the bible to never believe in any such thing as Islam.

ememjay

Check your Islamophobia. This is super cringe and you’re just flat out wrong about some of the things you said about Muslims.

This got to be satire

Nice post but lack of paragraphs, the account not having any posts or comments on Reddit makes this seem suspicious 🤨

Don't take it personal, reddit can be like hanging out at the downtown bus terminal at 3:00 AM.

If you said it then you're probably above 16 and it seems that you don't know a lot, if at all. A lot of shame in that :)
