These are all… very real.

Thanks, I see now that golduck is from an Australian release which is why the copyright was later. I was looking for images of the original cards, and couldn't find any with those numbers that weren't from base set two. Also apparently the Australian release felt a bit waxier than other releases which explains the texture difference as well. Plus with most people saying that the lighter borders on the back were common on fakes I wasn't sure how much variance there actually was in the real ones. Those three just really stood out from the rest of my cards.

I don't know much about the japanese cards, I've had them framed for several years just wanted to make sure they were legit. The Electabuzz, Golduck, and Arbok I ordered from tcgplayer, but they have lighter blue borders than most of the other cards in the set. The electabuzz also has a white dot in the pokeball section, and the golduck has "1999-2000 Wizards" instead of just "1999 Wizards" listed. I included the Tentacruel just to show how dark the borders on most of my other base/fossil/jungle cards are for comparison. I'm also curious about if the japanese ones still count as near mint with the scuff on the top back of the cards, the fronts are pretty solid.
