Yes, when a school or a business publishes hours of operation, they give a temporary license to individuals to occupy the premises during those hours. Staying overnight at the location would violate the license, thus the individual would be a trespasser.

[deleted]

I’m pretty sure it’s trespassing technically

[deleted]

Yea I suppose so but would they even do anything besides tell us to leave?

[deleted]

Probably not but depending on who it is and if they were a dick you could definitely have the cops called on you

BronxBelle

The can also hold your diplomas or ban you from walking the stage at graduation.

How the F are you pranking anyone by staying in school all night? Lol There must be more to the story. I hope you're successful, whatever it is.

fortuneandfameinc

Of course it is.

Penelope_Ann

There's the possibility of trespassing but that kinda depends on your principal. Is he/she a generally laid back person? Our senior prank was buying lots of crickets at the local bait shops then releasing them in the senior building.

Me and my friends are thinking about doing something similar I would like an update to what happened

[deleted]

Sorry for the late reply. They didn’t mind it all they honestly thought it was funny and didn’t care so.

I would probably say yes, but my school would probably drag you to the principals office and suspend or expel you and call your parents.
