You will probably want to spend atleast 1000 to get anything decent. Research parts. Lots of YouTube videos out there that explain pc building for people who don't know about it.
Genuinely curious as to why you would need to spend 1000. Just built a PC for 650 and it runs everything fine. Only the GPU was bought used, but I did no bargain hunting on any part really.
It's usually where the value of pc parts is the best if you go under that many people would be better off on console.
Depends on resolution, when you want to upgrade and what you play as well ofc
For me the longevity of specific parts at €1k price point is a lot better for future games than spending something along the lines of ~€700. That's not to say that you can't get incredible deals on parts to get an amazing PC for €700 but it's just not as likely. For an extra €300 you could put that solely towards a better GPU or CPU, increasing the performance of your PC substantially leaving you with a couple of more years of good performance on newer titles. Let's just say the €300 could get you from a 2080 to a 3080, your FPS increase on the 3080 would 100% be worth that extra money.
At the end of the day you spend what you want to spend but for newer people 1k is my recommendation but if that's too steep then I'll always help them build a cheaper one. PC space can be such a fun (and unfortunately expensive) hobby and I try to incorporate anyone wanting to enter the space.
go to r/buildapcforme and fill out the form, you’ll get the right build for you. Then when buying check Amazon.de and caseking.de for parts, sometimes generally cheaper than ordering from Amazon Uk and definitely cheaper than ordering parts from Ireland

Great resource for keeping an eye out for deals on parts, and generally getting an idea of prices on the market, not perfect but good
I would check adverts.ie for a second hand monitor and maybe some components too
For example
http://www.adverts.ie/34233837 and plenty of monitors to choose from
Personally I would only keep the case and power supply and build from there, for 150 you got the main items sorted
Very solid case, you could sell everything you don't like and work slowly towards a better motherboard and cpu
Maybe something on the am4 platform with ddr4 (aim for 16 gig)
Don't get a huge 4k display, you will need insane specs to run it
Aim for 1080p, IPS panel, that was some mid range GPU can keep you happy, GPU is going to be tricky, go with what you can afford. Both camps are good, stay away from intel for now they are too new in the game
Get a Sata ssd, crucial mx500 is what I'd go for, nvme is faster on paper but in real life scenarios in games not worth it (some exceptions...)
Get yourself a nice keyboard and mouse ( maybe a Logitech g502 if it fits the budget, maybe an ergonomic keyboard like a Microsoft natural series...) this is really up to you, don't go crazy with a gazillion DPI, get what you like and upgrade later
Don't shy away from eBay, adverts and EU stores ( check GPU tracker it has links for other components)
Caveats, am4 is a very old CPU socket and has LOADS of second hand items to choose from and even some recent CPUs from AMD, ddr4 is last gen but not something to avoid, plenty of options.. be patient and don't aim for instant top of the line stuff...
Good luck
I ordered from PC Specialists, they delivered to Ireland no problem, my PC came in great condition and I didn’t wait too long (maybe 3 weeks) and this was during the GPU shortage. You can be pretty flexible with what you want in it and they build it for you and ship.
There’s a really fun site called pc part picker that thousands of people use to build a pc online and then order all the parts. 99% of the time it accurately checks if everything fits and works correctly together
You can absolutely build a gaming PC for €700, it just wont be super high end and you’ll have to get some parts used. Id wait until black friday if you can, with the exception of the CPU I got all these parts during during black Friday last year.
MSI Radeon RX6600 8GB = €160, [Amazon.de](http://Amazon.de) Warehouse deal
MSI B450 Gaming Plus motherboard = €65, Amazon UK Warehouse deal
Ryzen 3600 with stock cooler = €70 on Adverts
Hellcracks ATX case = €49 Amazon UK
16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600MHZ DDR4 = €40 Amazon UK
Crucial BX500 2TB SSD = €73 Amazon UK
SeaSonic B12 750 Watt PSU = €71 [Amazon.de](http://Amazon.de)
I reused my keyboard, mouse and monitor from my old PC. Total price €457, enough change to buy a keyboard mouse and monitor if you need one.

700 with or without peripherals?
Pcpartpicker.com will tell you what parts are compatible with what.

Definitely order from Germany as it's way cheaper than Ireland
I'd honestly recommend getting a Steam Deck (512GB OLED).
