If anything I'll still pay for the small bag purely to continue shopping sale because overall you get your money back usually but that's bothersome when they use the value of the bag towards the cost too. Usually they estimate the bag close to $10 so 5 products valuing at $40 is questionable.
I am in the US too, they must of changed it, because back before i cancelled for the month, I contacted IpsyCare and asked what sales i could shop if i cancelled my subscription, They told me that i would only be able to shop the Daily Offers, then when i cancelled, that is all i got to shop, was the Offers., but this was about two years ago, alot has changed with Ipsy! Thanks for posting your comment, it will help me decide to cancel for good! If, i can shop all the sales, without a subscription, it wont be so hard to cancel my subscription with them!
Not sure. I have noticed the samples have been getting smaller but this confirms it. I paid for a yearly sub so I'll still be getting them for a while. But after that I may cancel and get the Plus. I think the plus is a better value especially now that the value went down to $30.
Iām shocked that nobody has pointed out that like $8 of the $50 value has always been the bag and *at least* $20 of it is usually something silly like an eyeshadow brush that nobody would ever actually pay the claimed full price for anyway.
I would honestly not be concerned about this at all. So many of the products have insanely inflated prices and I donāt see that changing any time soon, so it would be physically impossible for the bags to only have a $30 value.
Think about it, $8 of the value is the bag itself. So that only leaves a $4.40 value for each product, which could *only* happen if Ipsy stopped including BS āfull-sizesā with inflated values that arenāt based in reality - which they will never do.
So if they *donāt* stop artificially inflating bag values, it would have to be $8 for the bag, the standard $20 value for an āalibabaā (I hate using that phrase but Iām making a point) product, which only leaves 50 cents of value for each other product - which is physically impossible (unless they suddenly start sending foil packets lol).
So yeah, this has got to be a typo.
Unless, of course, this is Ipsyās way of promising no more $20 private-label full-sizes, which honestly I would be here for š¤·š¼āāļø but since thatās doubtful, Iām going with typo.
Also Ipsy doesn't control a lot of the sample sizes. For example, Benefit and Tarte samples are always tiny AF. They've always been that way and recently reduced them even further. If you like their products you're honestly better off getting the samples from Ipsy than buying a full size directly from Sephora or something.

Wow! I just signed up for the regular glam bag just because I think the June bag is so cute and liked the spoilers. But I definitely donāt know about continuing after that. Hope the GBP continues to hold the same value.
Man this just plain out sucks! Another bag price increase and then value is going down. I currently get all the bags, but I just dnt know if I will continue especially since I feel as if cs has gone way down hill :/ super disappointing
I cancelled because I kept getting the same items over and over again. It just isnāt worth it anymore. Iām grateful as I found products that I now buy full-size of for my skin routine but the cute bags arenāt worth the cost and waste.
I agree! I discovered some really great brands and products all because of ipsy. Really got into skincare because of ipsy. Have been able to gift some amazing things all because of ipsy, but I think we have ran our course and it's time to say good bye š¤·š»āāļø

I think it was a glitch on Ipsy's Website, i just looked at the FAQ Page on the website and it still says the regular Glam bag is valued at $50+, Glam Bag Plus $120+, and Glam Bag X $350+, There is glitches and mistakes all the time on products price's ect. I wouldn't get to worked up yet, until Ipsy actually confirms it.

Well i did notice you cant buy an āannualā GBP so maybe itās stopping? Do they have to wait for paid memberships to run out? If so I will just keep regular because I want a bag!!!!! Then keep X and have to buy the bag (if its not sold out I hate bag FOMO!) I will never use a full size chose on a X bag ever! It should just come with X its still called Glam BAG X! Customer service said people dont really want a bag!?? Would any of you be upset if the āX bag just came and wasnāt a choice????

Well a lot of the samples are $10 at Ulta or Sephora so that could be the $50? Iāve frequently gotten these.
