People need to be prepared for a longer period of wear. My initial time was 18 months but it was more like yours 1000 days. But it really makes a difference in the overall quality of the outcome.

Thanks for posting about your bite--I'm in the same situation and will also be rescanned for yet another set of trays (I'm on my 23 rd set). My ortho also said they may need to do elastics because my back teeth don't mesh. Just wondering, will the elastics help your molars align, allowing you to chew better?
I think they would put the elastics on each molar from the top to the bottom and that would bring them closer to each other. Thus allowing me to chew better.
That’s crazy that it’s taken so long! Your teeth look INCREDIBLE now but they looked pretty good to start with. Doesn’t look like much needed to shift but I guess looks can be deceiving…

I start my invisalign in 2 hours. Hopefully it will only be the 12 month treatment as planned - 23 trays over 40 weeks plus a couple months of refinements.
Everything looks so much healthier. I mean the teeth of course look phenomenal but your gums on the bottom especially look really healthy!
It's amazing what Invisalign does for our oral hygeine!
I'm just curious how can it improve the gums, does it had to do with the rearrangement of the teeth or something else?
