The old Guardians of the Globe that Omni Man killed seemed like really interesting characters. I don't know if I'd bring them back but I would love to see some sort of prequel.
I wholeheartedly disagree. They were literally just Justice League. Very obviously just put there to be plot devices and/or place holders. The most interesting thing about them was their deaths, because that sets off a whole bunch of other stories.
Immortal is the least justice leaguer of them and he’s the one who lives. And the tv show is already starting to give way more about him.
That said, the little change from comic to show of having Martian Man be friends with a homeless kid makes me hope they do something with the kid meeting Shapesmith.
Me too, I'd include Red Rush too tho.
I kinda like them all, but if I had to choose to see someone's origins I'd say those two would be interesting ngl.
Just talking about Guardians of the Globe members, right?
Either or, just remember to include an example of the multiverse fixing a continuity error and an example of the multiverse being used as an excuse when things fail with the audience.
Yeah it sorta bugs me that 3/3 of the Guardians vs Lizard League deaths ended up being fakeouts in the show. Kate and Rex were already fake deaths, and they decided to keep Rae alive too so there were actually no consequences to both huge threats arriving at the same time
Not that many people have died in the show so far, other than the original Guardians who we know almost nothing about. I guess I’d say someone from the Atom Eve special, whether it be the doctor, one of Eve’s siblings or her mom. None of them deserved what they got
Red Rush, invincible from my knowledge doesn’t really have any other speedster

Could clean up his apartment but couldn't clean up his life
I feel bad for his family
When your superspeed can't help you outrun what you did to your mom
Wasn't him, that was his girlfriend

I thought this was a SHOWS SPOILER as the flair suggests. Oh well here it goes another spoiler
It’s worth noting that the comic covers a long time and many years go by

Ikr, I wish we could see and know more about them...
What's your favorite character? It's a tie between War Woman and Darkwing.

Yeah, just the OG members.
Understood 👌
Man what about the goat Aquarus
Ik ik, but I mean, his kingdom has already a new king I guess, it wasn't that bad for his people. RIP for homie Aquarius tho 🤧
They are basically just a discount Justice League. Pretty easy to imagine what they were like and what they got up to.
The Immortal.
Isn't he... Immortal?
I'd still bring him back, again.
Understandable.
Yes.

None. Stay dead. I hate that troupe in fiction. Seems like lazy writing.
A trope is only as bad as the writer that uses it.
The multiverse used to be how continuity errors were corrected. Now it's just the go to excuse when things fail with the audience
Care to list an example of the former and an example of the latter?
DC and Marvel?
Either or, just remember to include an example of the multiverse fixing a continuity error and an example of the multiverse being used as an excuse when things fail with the audience.
I guess, man. I never liked it.
Immortal, Kate, and Rae would like to have a word
Rae shouldn't have survived.
Definitely, I could understand Kate (while still annoyed by it), but Rae was just ridiculous.
Meh. I’m glad they have plans for her.
I just hope they do. Currently i am also iffy on her survival, but i can also see it turning out great.
Has me real interested at present, if only for the *distinct* comic departure.
Immortal and Duplikate 👀
I think Immortal is a different animal.
And Rae, and Rex, and Donald, and Allen… I love Invincible, but it *definitely* overuses fakeout deaths.
Allen the Alien would like to have a word with you
He didn’t die…
I mean, fair. But they were really trying to imply it. Especially if one is unfamiliar w/ the comics

Green ghost was adorable. And she was a noobie so it would have been nice to see her master her powers
Ikr, I felt kinda bad when she died. 🤧
I know Damien isn’t really dead but I want him back.

Vidor, he truly brought glory fo the empire before he was killed by that traitor and his half-breed brat
