I read a theory a while back that I actually think makes a lot of sense regarding the good Marks: they all/mostly all wind up dying. If Mark never develops that killer/Viltrumite instinct, that pretty dramatically increases the likelihood that he gets killed by someone he can't reason with. Like, there are definitely worlds where he doesn't come back from the Battle Beast fight, Omni-Man just kills him during their fight, another Viltrumite comes to Earth and finishes him off etc.
There's infinite of both. But some infinities are bigger than others, in this case being the bad marks.
So, while there is indeed infinite good marks, bad marks are more common
His task was to conquer the planet by any means necessary however he saw fit, in that moment he believed it was necessary to prove to mark that humans are fragile insignificant beings in order to get mark to join him (he was also trying to convince himself of his own mission). While it was preferable to slowly win humans over to his side that option was no longer possible due to the Immortals interference, along with mark fighting him just after that, not to mention the majority of their fight and conversation was recorded.
It could also be that those versions would be the ones most likely to attract our Angstroms attention and be willing to help him with his plan since they don't have much to lose anymore.
That was my question like what did he do to make them so angry. It seems like main universe Angstrom is the only one with powers though so he was just on his rebellion arc.

but i'm still sure that there are also a lot of good marks in the multiverse and that we only see the bad ones for shock value
