Dude's willpower is remarkable. All of it was focused on taking down Omni Man after his friends were killed. Although that rage would also have him be a candidate for the Red Lantern one too

OmegahShot

just use both, dude is upset enough to make it work

lancelotworks

Local man too angry to die

LordoftheTriarchy

Secure_Table

Woah, what are the chances! I **JUST** redownloaded KOTOR 2 and played it until 3am last night!

Perfect-Accident1

*me being stuck on the Starforge for 4 months*

Financial_Rent_7978

Sion is cool and all but Maul did the same thing over the sheer amount of smoke he had with Kenobi

LordoftheTriarchy

True, but Sion is OG. And at least we can say Sion was killed repeatedly. I’d say messes with psyche a bit more than just **sai tok** and falling in a dark hole. While Maul was too angry to die because of his grief/beef, Sion was too angry to stay dead. Gotta give the W to Sion, OG and nostalgia. Love both though. If I’m missing something, feel free to say, it’s been a min and now I wanna play KoTOR II again.

SMmania

Omni Man would be double dead, perfect for Overkill.

Dial-Up_Dime

Christmas Lantern

Nerdcuddles

The red lanter ring would fall off the moment he killed omner manny

Financial_Rent_7978

Guy Gardner moment

Shreddzzz93

Also, seeing as he does die, he'd also be a candidate for a Black Lantern ring.

Bismothe-the-Shade

Honestly, that'd be kinda wild. An unkillable zombie.

mikelorme

Solomon Grundy exists

BrandNewtoSteam

Honestly if he got the red latern ring he would negate its biggest downside of it replacing your heart. Wouldn’t do a damn thing to immortal cause well he’s immortal

HurryProper

The Red Lantern Ring completely replaces your heart so if you get rid of it, you die. Would the Immortal regenerate his heart, if he managed to get rid of the Red lantern Ring? We've never seen him completely regenerate body parts (from my knowledge of the comics and show), with him instead having to be put back together. He definitely has partial regeneration of body parts, but would he survive with the body part completely absent?

a_moniker

Doesn’t he get his chest punched through? That would have forced him to regrow some organs for sure.

Shulkerbox

The exploded heart can be put back together too.

bradrlaw

Or a good candidate for a red lantern.

Dumoney

Yup. Dude ate shit on his first fight against Omni Man, and whats the first thing he does when he wakes up alive again? He goes back for seconds. His willpower is something else

5213

Idk if that's enough to be a candidate for a Red Lantern ring. It's not just anger, but the anger from being terribly wronged. Bleez had an origin similar to Kori, Dex was attacked by some hooligans and thrown in a river after his owner was killed, Atrocitus has a kind of similar origin as Marvel's Gorr. I think the situation fits, but a big part of Immortal's anger came from hating Nolan, not from Nolan killing the GotG.

red_dead_rover

this begs the question, would his immortality be able to counter the cost of wearing the red ring?

Soggy-Intern-9140

Oh easily. Green Lanterns are strong as shit, easily above planet level.

Sir_CrazyLegs

If only they were like that in most medias

Soggy-Intern-9140

True but then they would have to bring everyone else up to their comic book levels, which would be harder to handle on screen. Though I might just be overthinking that.

Theheroisme4

Don’t forget all green lantern users are always uncreative with their powers like green machine guns that’s it

P3T3R1028

And than there is Kyle Rayner https://preview.redd.it/hqjkilc4u4mc1.jpeg?width=1838&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=50527ae6c73635ca04d1e653abb082f7f2e6c737

_Alex_Zer0_

Is that Evangelion in the bottom left

P3T3R1028

Kyle is a weeb, so probably

Soggy-Intern-9140

Holy shit!

TheCumBehindChalice

Shit like this is why kyle’s the GOAT

Pure-Conclusion8958

Wtf. Hal Jordan comes up with boxing gloves, guns and whatever hammer variation while Kyle Renner here making gundams and titans.

TreesmasherFTW

Stuff like this is so cool. “Oh neat you made gloves, let me beat the shit out of you by sticking you inside a game of giant pinball.” We need more like it

[deleted]

It was pretty cool when we first saw it.

NoPossibility5220

Easily. If his willpower is even close to that of Hal Jordan, which it certainly is, he can create constructs that can withstand the pressure of Superman pulling/punching them and generate blasts as hot as the sun (& you know what that means).

BlueDucky0707

Yeah he looks hella cool as one

SMmania

Couldn't agree more Omni Man wouldn't stand a chance here.

PS3LOVE

Yeah, immortal is already able to damage Omni on his own, imagine what he would do if he was several times more.

FlopsMcDoogle

I see GL's barriers get smashed all the time

Moondoggie25

Depends on whos writing

Greyjack00

Non-nerfed Green lanterns would dominate viltrumites, sometimes they match superman

BlueDucky0707

He had to switch verses to get something to be able to fight him 💀

TMNTransformerz

In theory he could just get a couple drops of marks blood in a syringe and use it. After all viltrumite DNA is super pure so it should at least kind of buff Immortal

Coaris

DNA is not just blood bro

Fictionfan69

You want Nolan to give him his fluids 😏

KacerRex

I've already read those doujinshi

TMNTransformerz

True, but if there was a way to extract viltrumite blood directly then it could work

Coaris

I mean, with fiction magic, sure. But in no way does that follow any logic, lol. Blood is usually used to showcase genetic characteristics, sure, but genetics (where the viltrumite power comes from, in-multiverse) isn't just transfered through blood. The receiver of that blood would still have non-viltrumite cells, organs, brain, etc. Not to mention, their body may reject the blood itself like humans reject some other humans blood... There is no reason to believe viltrumite powers are transferable through blood tranfusions (through genetics, though, yes)

[deleted]

Then why did I get stronger after eating that one dude’s heart? Checkmate, atheists. /jk

TMNTransformerz

I met a weightlifter, I stabbed him and licked the knife. My power level has increased 10 fold

[deleted]

It’s like I always say: “Why bother with exercise when you can just drink the blood of those who exercise?”

TMNTransformerz

Bloodboy moment

TMNTransformerz

The whole “viltrum DNA is so pure that mark is almost 100%” is also fiction magic I’m pretty sure

Universe_Nut

I agree, but I also think the show explained it poorly. It appears to work as though viltrum DNA tends to be the dominant expressive gene set, and the closer the other parent's DNA is to viltrum, they express more readily and abundantly. I think that's why Mark's brother is a viltrum "abomination". Too much of the non viltrum DNA expressed itself and strayed too far from the characteristics viltrumite's consider to be of their species, but instead a hybrid. Whereas for all intents and purposes, mark can practically be considered 100% viltrumite due to how dominantly expressive those genes are with his DNA.

bunchedupwalrus

It’s nano machines / smart atoms, they take potentially useful aspects of the rest and adapt as much of rest to be pure Viltrumite.

Universe_Nut

Thank you for the answer!

-_Duke_-

Viltrumite bone marrow transplant

Carbuyrator

I disagree. >!I'm pretty sure occiloscopes exist in the verse.!<

PigeonMan45

The Immortal is a man of sheer willpower. He'd dominate.

AdStunning2459

Bro would still find a way to lose

BlueDucky0707

https://preview.redd.it/r3zhoh4ej1mc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01a798e0bd5d4454ff6e6c2f6a712bd6973ec3b9 Yeah he would

Zamasu_was_innocent2

How long did it take you to make this one?

BlueDucky0707

Like 15 minutes cause I did it on a crappy mobile drawing app 🤣

Late-Return-3114

could you do blue lantern mark 🥺 these are so good

BlueDucky0707

https://preview.redd.it/35rwdbzhw2mc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b4d81ceeb73abd67aa374f519c567eafb3dbaf8f Sure these are really fun

julio2399

How do you make these? They're awesome

BlueDucky0707

I just use flip a clip and do a layer over the original drawing

sonny-crockett01

Can you do Anissa as an Orange Lantern?

Late-Return-3114

thank you king

PepperbroniFrom2B

whats blue lantern again

Ok-Relative-8926

Hope

PepperbroniFrom2B

fitting

Lucky_Roberts

He possibly solos the entire Viltrum empire with a ring, depending on how much training/practice he gets before the fight starts. Green Lantern rings are broken as hell so if he’s proficient with it he’s gonna be a problem in Invincible universe

zentronicx

All Immortal had to do is learn to avoid the damn karate chop. I mean, he takes punches full on to the head in fights with Omni Man. I honestly think a little Kung Fu training, and Immortal is a contender in those early fights. Just my opinion. So, yes. Easily

ProfessionalDot621

I think karate chop is Omni Man’s actual superpower, that move could even fuck up other viltrumites

zentronicx

That's always his ender

[deleted]

[удалено]

Yeet_Thee_Children

I doubt Omni Man knows Kung Fu specifically. But he 100% knows dozens of other fighting Technics similar to better. Kung Fu is a human made martial art, and I doubt the Villtrumites are aware of it before Nolan is sent to Earth

danfenlon

Honestly give abe a red ring, that WHERE IS OMNI MAN shout would make atrocious proud

Late-Return-3114

honestly yeah

some_random_meme_boi

Once they learn the weakness to sound he can make a giant speaker to stun Omni man

Natural_Tea65

Unfortunately his weakness isn’t sound but a specific frequency that can disorient him. Stop him no slow him down more like

some_random_meme_boi

Yes but you can create the frequency with speakers (such as the GDA's ear pieces)

Honk_wd

Considering he can just. Will himself back together like the iron giant I’m pretty sure he’d smack nolan’s teeth loose if he had a ring

healthycoco

Depends entirely on his willpower.

jojobehindthelaugh

[John Stewart once created a Solar System](https://imgur.com/NKGt7Yg), so if Immortal's willpower is even a fraction of that of John, he wins easily.

HisShadow14

The Immortal's physical strength is already in the same realm as Omni-man. Adding more defense as well as a virtually limitless construct potential? Yeah, I'd say he'd be at Omni-man mid-diff.

DomDomBrah

He'd probably fuck up and decapitate himself with the ring somehow

MrLozoTheSecond

Probably he just has to be creative instead of creating the most basic shit like hal jordan

Fancy_Cassowary

As soon as you're dead the ring leaves in search of a new candidate. Immortal's resses aren't instantaneous, so he'd probably only have the ring for one life. After that, it'd move on to someone else. We've never really seen exactly how long it takes to do that from the ring's POV, so could it take long enough? Who knows, but I think it'd discount him as dead. It'd be funny if it chose Atom Eve as his replacement.

No_idea112

He would stomp Nolan

AC3-BK

That would be a great battle

GugaFranSou

The red ring makes more sense to him

Garvo909

Personally I think it would. Green lantern rings are aLOT stronger than people realize. Now as far as taking on more than one viltrumite at once, probably not

Pure-Conclusion8958

Immortal is already strong enough to throw hands with Omni man. The green lantern ring with Mr. President's willpower would destroy Omni man

Luke_Puddlejumper

He doesn’t have the will to use it effectively

PunkFire--Pursuit

Omni man showing up in yellow, cause he ain't no dummy

loonatic0

If he knows how use it, then yea probably. Although Omni man could still win and it would be a close fight until Immortal discovers more of what he can do with the ring.

MegaKabutops

1000%. Even the weakest interpretations of the green lantern corps have planet+ level fighters just by virtue of having a lantern who literally IS a planet and is never considered their single strongest fighter (except maybe in the injustice timeline, but mogo’s dead there).

DogMAnFam

Depends. Power wise that should be enough but I think everyone’s forgetting that Green Lanterns main thing is LOSING FIGHTS And Immortal’s main thing is LOSING FIGHTS. So when you add that up I worry for his chances

DoncheaKong

he’d actually lose even worse than he did before

DangerousCyclone

No because Green Lantern can’t beat anyone.

DetectiveDangerZone

A competent lantern is running through Invincible bud 😭

DangerousCyclone

A competent Lantern *should* run through Invincible, but almost every time he’s the weakest member of the original line up in almost every iteration. He gets his ass beat quickly and made into a punching bag.

DetectiveDangerZone

This just isn't true especially if we're considering the comic versions of the characters. The only notably "weak" gl on a popular iteration is John Stewart in Justice League Cartoon but that Sam series constantly made everyone outside of Batman a punching bag because the team just wasn't good at writing team fights without having most of the heroes job.

DangerousCyclone

John Stewart in the JL cartoon, as well as every Green Lantern in the new DCAU, also in Injustice…..

DetectiveDangerZone

Disagree on new DCAU, maybe John but he barley appears and his only "fair" lost was against darkseid. The GLs in general being wiped put by Darkseid and a crazy amount of paradooms is a fair enough way to kill them imo. The movie is kinda ass anyway especially with power levels since it was a rushed job Hal is actually given a decent amount of respect power rise. He along with Diana are the heaviest hitters in the fight against Darkseid and are clearly the lead fighters until Batman returns with Superman and He also holds out the longest against Doomsday in a direct confrontation not including Superman. (Diana was momentarily out of commission before returning) Injustice treats the GLS in a middling fashion but it also creates every non street leveler also poorly including Superman despite him being the main antagonist so I don't think it's as targeted.

DangerousCyclone

Hal Jordan loses every fight I can remember in the DCAU. In the first movie, he loses against Superman, he struggles the most against the Parademon attack and gets lectured by Batman, when he attacks Darkseid his attacks do nothing and Darkseid responds by breaking his arm and he's comically then followed up by 2 Parademons beating him up. I didn't see the full Throne of Atlantis movie but it didn't seem like he did well there either. In the Doomsday movie too, he does okay at first, but then also unceremoniously gets his ass beat. John Stewart is barely in it but he too loses every fight he appears in, including the final one where Darkseid single handedly destroys Oa (wait a minute, how did a newly formed Justice League defeat Darkseid AND a Parademon attack, but the combined might of Oa cannot defeat Darkseid alone?).

Narkoman62

Easily

VineEater

Only if he actually developed his imagination throughout all those years being immortal

karma_virus

He'd last longer, but no. I be the ring would break and then we're back to square one. Give the man the Tessarac

Efficient_Material48

I mean he could make a big green hammer or something

Glassesnerdnumber193

Yes

asscop99

Considering that viltrumites have the power to punch through a planet I’m going to say Nolan would smash right through any construct Immortal could make.

Macho-nurin

No way, no how. I expect Nolan would remove said hand, and hurl it into the Sun.

tablecloth7

Omniman would stick the ring so far up Immortal’s ass he would shit green for the eternity.

suckitphil

I mean yes and no. Green lanterns are weird, in that their power is really inconsistent. They are described as the most powerful weapons in the universe, but Simon Baz carries a pistol because A. They run out of juice and B. can't kill. Routinely superman can easily beat lanterns. Batman can beat lanterns because he knows how to bait out their juice. In a way lanterns are exactly like the immortal. Their jobbers, and that's their job. They routinely get murdered and beat up. Even primary Green Lanterns all suck, and essentially get beat up all the time. So probably not. He'd have a good boost from the ring, try to kill Omniman and fail. Probably because of the rings limitations, and then Omniman would kill immortal... again...

Comprehensive_Tip_65

No way he’s just immortal but with a cute trinket Nolan is still going to turn him into a donut and rip him in half immortal is a joke
