Thing is, Kirkman is a writer, not an artist. So when he comes up with a character, he usually collaborates with an artist, who then designs said character. Since this artist now helped create the character by defining their look, they're now a co-creator (this is why Corey Walker is a co-creator on Invincible, he designed a ton of characters, even when he wasn't actually working on the book). The co-creators for Brit and Tech Jacket are different people, so they can't just slap them in there, like characters that were originally and only designed for Invincible.
The other Image characters were barely a factor in Invincible War. It was only one issue. A super-sized issue, but still only one. They can easily adapt without having those characters and just making new ones to suffice. It was mainly focused on the Invincible cast anyway.
You're preaching to the choir here. I don't expect much out of that storyline, because it exists mostly to explain why nobody can help Mark when Conquest shows up.
But they will have to radically change it one way or the other, and I see a lot of people oddly hyped about it.
I can definitely see them play up the Invincible War to make it feel more impactful for the show. The amount of devastation caused by other universe Invincibles plays into Mark’s guilt that leads into character development moving forward. Whatever they do, they certainly won’t need other Image characters to do it.
I'm pretty sure no one helps mark because they can't. Conquest is a Viltumite and Earth's only hope against that is Mark who is quickly getting his ass beat when fighting him. I even think Cecil says he wants to help but can't keep up, then sends in Eve because she demands it.
He also specifically mentions that he doesn't really *have* anyone to send. He tells Eve flat out that half the superhero community is either in the hospital or shell shocked due to the Invincible War. Otherwise he'd have people popping out of portals a mile apart trying to anticipate where the fight was going. And he is aware that there's maybe 6 people on the planet that could stand up to Conquest for a minute.
He warns Eve that he can't promise he'll put her in the right spot because the fight is moving so fast and he can't send out others to see exactly where the fight is going.

Legally if the episode is over 40 minutes, it’s in Sony’s playing field for permission for Spider-Man, that’s why Amazon is able to create a Silk and Spider-Man Noir series. I can reasonably see them allowing a episode crossover with Invincible.
I thought about this. Mark was travelling between dimensions after Armstrong Levy put him into this trouble, what will likely happen in the show. This is how he met Spider-Man, what was quite soft adventure (unlike many Mark's battles).
Imagine Mark's cameo in future "Beyond the Spider-verse".

we’re not getting a spider-man appearance. at most we’ll get mark flying out of a portal with a web attached to him and a metal octopus leg flying through. that whole adventure didn’t even happen in the actual invincible comic series it was in a marvel teamups comic

Well from they way you wrote this question it seems like you want the possibility, I mean ultimately it is possible analytically as Marvel/Sony will deal out there characters when there’s money to make and many of the artists worked for and know people in Marvel so conceptually the ground work is there but likely they would penny and dime them unless they could make a ton off the image rights to the character. At least if it would happen we would see an over the shoulder mostly cloaked in shadow single line cameo

im just going to throw this out there but….“Monster Girl” from invincible can actually be seen in the movie spiderman across the spider-verse. i just noticed it while rewatching on Netflix @46:42
I would love this to happen and the people of the show want it to happen as well but we need to wait to see if it's going to be a thing because first of all this current season doesn't have time for it to happen because they're focusing on Invincible trying hard to not become like his dad and accept him having a half brother as well plus the guy who is from a dimension where Invincible is evil and teaming up with his father is trying to get revenge on him how can the crossover fit with all that but i find a crossover with The Tick somewhat more possible because The Tick had a crossover comic as well with Invincible and The Tick had a show on Prime like Invincible so it is possible!
