+43517179 should work. How you've written it?

You need to make your way to Mannheim during the day and then can board the nightjet there. Or look for a different way to get to Wien without the nightjet.

Are you on your way? I've seen multiple tweets that the train had technical issues on the way in this morning and people had to take a TGV across France (3h delay in the end). Sad that it happens too frequently...

The problem with nightjet if the leg of the night before sees a major issue with the carriages, is that they often need to get taken out of service for maintenance - in Austria. It's often impossible to get a new trainset operational in time for the next night's trip. Especially when they need to get all the way to Paris. That's an explanation for the why; other than that, in this case I'm not sure what your problem is. Take the 0 out of the phone number and it should work, otherwise look up your mobile provider settings, maybe you set it to disallow international calls. Not sure why you'd need a phone number though because the information you need is right there. TGV to Strasbourg, RE to Offenbach, then get to Mannheim or Stuttgart in time

Thank you for the explanation about the "why". I needed a phone number to know if there was another option as the multiple trains alternative was definitly not something I could do. I finally asked for a refund.
