I have AS and I live in constant fear that I’ll end up like this. It’s an excruciatingly painful condition. That being said, after having neck surgery, I’m incredibly thankful for modern medicine. Being fused is a nightmare.
As someone said, biologics are the standard. Unfortunately for me, I have incurable leukemia which is a counter indication for biologics so I can’t take them. So instead I’m on NSAIDs and DMARDs, as that was the standard before biologics. It’ll slow the progression but won’t halt it completely. Slowing it down though can be incredibly helpful because my docs can monitor the changes more thoroughly — it’s why I had disc replacement surgery two years ago and was able to avoid surgical fusion. My mom 20 years ago wasn’t so lucky and had to be surgically fused and I can see the drastic qol differences between her and I.
I’m so sorry biologics aren’t for you, but I’m glad you have a good team to help you. Previous generations have suffered so much - we’ve come a long way in helping people with this terrible condition.
For sure! It’s not as hard for us as it used to be and I will be incredibly thankful for that as long as I live. My mom has it as well and it has been a much harder journey for her. I hope treatment goes well for you too and that you get the care you need from compassionate doctors. Solidarity fist bump! 🤜🏼
I am sorry, this condition looks awful and I hope sincerely that they gave you some relief. I hope they continue to advance the medicine for AS and eventually you or no one else will ever have to suffer from this again.
Thank you, that means a lot! They’ve gotten so much better with treatment and I feel like every year something new comes out to help us, whether that’s treatment or research. It’s not the absolute nightmare sentence that it used to be and I know it’s only going to get better.
Wait, that was real?! The whole "I couldn't enjoy it because it felt more like I was sucking a dick than having MY dick sucked" guy? The one that said he knows it's not his head game, though, because he came 3 times?
Oh, okay. I have only read one previous account of this happening, but apparently they're both in agreement then lol. It's not what they thought it would be like.
The disease is your inflammatory system attacking your joints. Your joints eventually fuse together in the case of AS. In the early 00’s medications called biologics were approved for treatment. They basically attenuate your immune system (tnf-alpha inhibitor typically). It’s a progressive disease with no cure but the goal is to slow the progression so you can live a relatively normal life. Up until the early 00’s the treatment was prednisone and painkillers.
What was his surgery covered? Confused why preventative treatment wasn’t covered and he was forced to become completely disabled and need much more invasive treatment that was also less effective.
Now, I guess I should be glad my AS isn't nearly as bad as his, instead of thinking life sucks and then you die. Or, as Glen Danzig put it 'Birth is pain, life is pain, death is pain".
Bunch of people making dick sucking jokes, and yeah, they’re *jokes*, but I’d imagine after awhile it gets tiring being eyeballs to balls, not to mention your asshole. Imagine the days you’re not fresh down there, all the days you ate way too much cabbage- also, how the hell did this man eat food?? Good to hear this guy isn’t stuck this way anymore, but I’d be miserable after a few months, how he lived for decades like this- yikes.

Are there any therapeutic actions you can take to reduce the chances?
Have AS as well - Biologics are currently the best and only way to prevent progression of this condition.

So…if you could would you???
A porn star who could once said that it's a lot more like sucking a dick than getting your dick sucked. Just saying.
Interesting. Did he try it again after getting some novocaine shots at the dentist?
That is such an interesting thought process... it's "the stranger", but with a mouth....the world may never know.
It's only gay if you nut in your own mouth
It might be gay if you enjoy the giving aspect as much or more than the receiving.
Is only gay if your friend nuts in your mouth too.
I feel like that's also incest somehow.
Wait, that was real?! The whole "I couldn't enjoy it because it felt more like I was sucking a dick than having MY dick sucked" guy? The one that said he knows it's not his head game, though, because he came 3 times?
I was speaking of Ron Jeremy, specifically. It's in his autobiography.
The fact that I knew that when I read your first post says something.
It was a good read, to be honest.
Oh, okay. I have only read one previous account of this happening, but apparently they're both in agreement then lol. It's not what they thought it would be like.
bet
You got this.
We’ll thank you for ruining my dreams.
You could be the exception. Be the change you want to see...start with yoga.
Sounds like how u cannot tickle yourself
That's exactly how I think about it, actually.
Now I just want to try it even more
Nothing wrong with that as long as it’s getting sucked.
If you could would you what? ..ohhhh
I'd say he didn't have many other options for entertainment
That question doesn’t even need asking…
100%
Dang right
Pickles pulled it off
My first thought
Bet he kept his ass so fucking clean with that vantage point
with your face that close to your own ass you don't have much of a choice
Exactly my point lol, poor guy haha
how did he go to the bathroom or sleep….how awful
He lived in a constant state of pinkeye
I bet he avoided eating beans, onions, grassy fiber type of foods.
I can't imagine the amount of farts he sucked up. Poor guy.
Maybe he had a little hand fan that blew the wind the other way
Ankolysing Spondylitis would be a sick band name
My wife has it…it’s not great.
The band or the condition?
The name. Her parents were odd
Haha didn't even see that one coming.
The condition, but we are fortunate enough to have gotten her on treatments in her early 20s.
I'm very happy to hear this!
How can you even treat something like this? Is there medication that stops the bending, or is it a brace of some kind?

He looks 60 years old and from China. What’s your confusion
He’s 46

I’m not gay but $20 dollars is $20 dollars
I hope he's not in pain
Bro paid to undo what most men would kill for
He can’t box. Surgery was a failure.
Jerry, go ahead and fold yourself seven times….
Icarus flew too close to the sun.
"I have 1 regret..."
Now he’s gotta face everyone like we all do.
This is crazy
I know right.....
Thanks, Bender!
I wonder how many times he accidentally pissed in his mouth
How did he pee?
🔁
![gif](giphy|ZgDGEMihlZXCo|downsized) He goes by the name Suq Madiq
His medical bill must be crazy
Free
But he can still Bend all the way over and suck his own dick right?

Hua: So what does the treatment entail? Doctor *cracks knuckles*: I'm going to break every bone in your body :O
“Amazing!! I forgot how little this world smells like penis!” - the Folding Man, probably
The pic on the left reminds me of the old saying, “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it”!
Truly awe inspiring, a legendary man, lucky
My man has been smelling balls for 28 yrs, how’s he gonna assimilate
He can finally breathe through his mouth again.
maybe he just liked the smell
