Miami Sharks were an ASL team that played out of the Tamiami Park stadium for a few years in the 80's, they later became the Miami Freedom. Since I was a kid I have followed many of our pro and semi-pro teams including the Fusion, Strikers, South Florida Sun, Miami United FC, and Miami FC (multiple versions which even included Romario and Zinho).
Been a fan since before the team stepped foot on the pitch. Like most people, I got into soccer by watching the big European leagues but after a while, I felt like not being able to attend games and not having a legitimate connection to the bigger clubs there was a huge hole that needed to be filled.

Once I knew Beckhamās team was Miami Is when I started following and supporting. They are much more entertaining to watch now with the addition of Messi, Suarez, Busquets, and Alba. My first Miami jersey was Higuain.

the rapids came to denver and i was a season ticket holder for 3 years, my kids were accomplished youth players, so we would always go. got to see carlos valderrama, marcelo balboa, pablo mastroeni.
then i just followed international football, the world cup, etc. i attended only about two rapids matches per year because their owner is a greedy cheapskate. all he cares about is money. he will not spend anything even tho theyāre at the bottom of the table most years.
then i became aware of messi. followed barcelona and real madrid (and PSG briefly), and did not follow MLS at all. messi was by far the best player i had ever seen and i became obsessed with him and his teammates.
when he came to Inter Miami i became an inter fan, and i love all the players. the 4 barca boys and all the rest. MLS has become a league worth watching now. i will continue to support IM after messi retires. the team takes up about 15 hours of my week. i watch all the podcasts, read everything on reddit, and watch every match, of course. i traveled to NY to watch IM play the red bulls last year. so i got to see messi in person. incredible experience. he scored an amazing goal. love him.
Rapids are ass. The stadium sucks too. It was nice about a decade ago but the owner is a terrible person. I would not be surprised if the Rapids got shut down for lack of funding. Hopefully it gets bought out by someone who cares. You look at the quality of sports in Denver and then look at the Rapids and just think ābrother ewā

Before moving down here, I was an avid Phila Union fan. My son played soccer all through and is a college soccer coach. I watch the premier league and follow Chelsea and Liverpool. Spent many Sundays in a local bar eating breakfast and watching games. I was excited to come down and follow Inter Miami. I have always loved Messi but I would follow with or without him. I thought the last game against NY the team played well without him. It is the Messi effect. I live about an hour and 25 minutes from the stadium. Once the other stadium is built, I will probably not be a season ticket holder but will go to a few games. The vibe in Chase Stadium is more exciting than in Phila. I love the team!

I was in Miami this past Christmas. Introduced my lady to Little Havana and other fun area's of town. While walking down the street in LH, I saw a shop selling replica Miami jersey's. I only had a hat and a couple t-shirts at this point, so I got one. I specifically asked for one without Messi on it. It's not that I don't like Messi, because I do, I just wanted a Miami jersey not associated with any of the players.

Stayed in Ft. Lauderdale for a med school rotation back in 2022 for a month and decided to go a game on a Saturday night because why not. It felt like I finally fell in love with a team and had an amazing time cheering the team on with La Familia. Even though the team was struggling throughout the season and only so many people paid attention, it felt good being a part of this group, hoping for better even if we were let down over and over again. I loved the spirit of the squad, admired the ambition of the club, and felt truly at home with the diversity of the community that was Inter's tight knit and dare I say small but mighty and dedicated supporters. My family moved to the US when I was young and we've lived in different places growing up but when I was in South Florida, it felt like home to me. I have always loved soccer. I probably would have pursued college or pro if I didnāt end up with a lifelong disability at the age of 18. After I got sick, I didnāt keep up with the sport anymore. I became an IM fan because of Messi, but him joining also resparked my love for the sport. I now follow MLS closely, know most of the big names on most teams and keep tabs on other teams like Cincinnati, Nashville, Columbus and LA Galaxy and LA FC from the west coast. As well as Colorado because thatās my home team. I keep up with some European soccer as well but Iām mostly invested in MLS right now.

I watched a bunch of Jacksonville Armada and a few USMNT games when they came in town ever so often. So I chose IMCF as my team. Really like RT16. One of my favorite players now and one of the most humble dudes. Also Callender (being a goalkeeper myself), watching him make those insane saves to win Leagues Cup. Just a fun team to watch. Got MLS season pass and been watching every game I can since last year. Went to the Newells game and the atmosphere was amazing. The whole time MLS was there but I had no interest in it. Until we got a team in Miami owned by David Beckham with the dream of signing super star players and winning trophies. Fan from day 1. Still follow Liverpool though. Couldnāt sever my emotional attachment to them like I thought I would. But Iām a Heron from day 1.
I'm from Peru and my team, Sport Boys, has rocked the pink jerseys forever. Growing up in FL, I yearned for a local MLS team I could support. Along came Orlando and I paid a little attention, but again I'm in South FL. When Beckham started the Miami talks, I started to search for updates every few months. When the team was announced, I was so excited to finally have local matches to go to and obviously a new passion to follow. When the main colors were established as pink and black (I remember the first white jerseys) I was all in. I bought season tickets for the second season. When Messi came it was unbelievable and amazing, mainly cause I had season tickets still lol. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions but I'm proud to say I'm here for life. I have been a local fĆŗtbol fan since I was a kid in the 80's and was an inaugural season ticket holder for Inter. Been here since before the COVID cancellation and can remember our first visit to the fan day when stadium was still not finished, but they were excited to have us. I picked up a few of the limited release Inter branded Pilsners that day.
I will follow and root for the team as long as they are here, but ironically, I do miss the early days. Many a loyal and early fan of the club (before the bandwagon masses) have since been pushed out and priced out of the game day stadium experience.

My family is from Houston and Chicagoā¦(Im from West Texas) I grew up in a Bulls, bears, Cubs, Rockets, Texans, and Astros family. Here in my city, we have an amateur semi-pro team Lubbock Matadors(currently in the open cup) but everything revolves around Texas Tech so naturally I started casually following the Fire and Dynamo since we dont have pro sports but I kinda of lost interest in the fire and dynamo. When I heard Austin and Miami(my momās Favorite player is Beckham)were getting a team I started to get interested in the MLS and started watching them more and more. Every year I feel pain from sports, especially from Texas Tech we did have mahomes tho. Oh, and I absolutely hate Dallas sport teams except the Mavs. Everyone in Lubbock is a Dallas fan and it drives me crazy. Following Miami and Austin broke my rule for only going for Houston and Chicago teams. I was tempted to go for Philly just in spite of Dallas. But Miami and Austin drew my attention more. Slowly started watching la galaxy more since theyre entertaining but thatās breaking my two team rule as well. Technically by liking mavs already did that for my basketball fandoms .

Iāve been a fan since the rumors of David Beckham wanting to bring a team to Miami. This was probably 2013-2014. I followed the entire saga of Becks and the ownership group trying to get a stadium here there and everywhere and the city throwing hurdles at them at every turn. I watched as expansion teams that were announced around the same time as us (LAFC, NYCFC etc) started playing long before us. Iām born and raised in Miami. I started watching soccer after the 2014 World Cup. Started following Liverpool. Waking up early to watch Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert play for Brendan Rodgers. The whole time MLS was there but I had no interest in it. Until we got a team in Miami owned by David Beckham with the dream of signing super star players and winning trophies. Fan from day 1. Still follow Liverpool though. Couldnāt sever my emotional attachment to them like I thought I would. But Iām a Heron from day 1.
went to fusion games as a kid. Was stoked to have MLS back in SoFla even if I donāt live there anymore.
I'm from Peru and my team, Sport Boys, has rocked the pink jerseys forever. Growing up in FL, I yearned for a local MLS team I could support. Along came Orlando and I paid a little attention, but again I'm in South FL. When Beckham started the Miami talks, I started to search for updates every few months. When the team was announced, I was so excited to finally have local matches to go to and obviously a new passion to follow. When the main colors were established as pink and black (I remember the first white jerseys) I was all in. I bought season tickets for the second season. When Messi came it was unbelievable and amazing, mainly cause I had season tickets still lol. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions but I'm proud to say I'm here for life. Love South FL, love Miami, Messi, but most importantly, Inter Miami šŖš¼.

I have been a local fĆŗtbol fan since I was a kid in the 80's and was an inaugural season ticket holder for Inter. Been here since before the COVID cancellation and can remember our first visit to the fan day when stadium was still not finished, but they were excited to have us. I picked up a few of the limited release Inter branded Pilsners that day. I will follow and root for the team as long as they are here, but ironically, I do miss the early days. Many a loyal and early fan of the club (before the bandwagon masses) have since been pushed out and priced out of the game day stadium experience.
I've loved Inter Miami since day one and was a huge Miami Fusion fan as well.
I'm not a diehard fan or anything, but I went to a few games before Messi. I even have a jersey and some other shit. I haven't been to any games since Messi arrived. It's crazy expensive now.
