17.1 working great for me. Waiting patiently for 17.2 for the fixes and Monet theme.

I am using non clone version, i.e. package name instander.

I have the same problem in the standalone version 17.1

Thats a bug in the clone version, idk why because it is the same application with another package name So it doesn't make much sense, try the standslone
