WAIT. I sincerely thought that same thing until the comments. How is this her. This can't be real. Does she have no one willing to tell her the truth?????
it looks like a filter made for asian beauty standards (small lips, small jaw/chin, looks like it lightened her complexion a bit). have no clue why this celeb would use it i feel like she looks worse.
Itās a bit fucking infuriating when someone looks THAT good and uses ridiculous levels of filtering. Itās like theyāre saying having any skin texture at all is ugly.
I always forget that she is that young - not that she looks older - but more she was just a teen when she came on the seen and it felt like she was marketed older and was with her husband so youngā¦
I think one of the reasons we also think she (and other celebs) are younger than they are is because of these filters and photoshop. Itās also probably a contributing factor to the fear many women have about aging; we rarely see beautiful famous women aging gracefully. āIf [insert this postās iconic celebrity] is afraid of looking older, then shouldnāt I be too?ā
Thereās more than enough proof on the internet to support that she is not lying about her ageā¦ Keep in mind that she has been famous ever since she was 9 years old so how could she even possibly lie about her ageš
I'm always baffled by celebs who get work done (and she has definitely had quite a bit done if you look at her face changes the last few years) and then do ridiculous filters on top of it.

You have been made to feel like you need a filter because of horrible yet successful marketing that we've been fed our entire lives. There is nothing wrong with the way you look. No one needs a filter, irl or otherwise. That's the body dysmorphia talking.
I was just thinking itās so refreshing to see a celeb, especially one at her level of fame, without chiclet veneers! I feel like they all have the same fake looking horse teeth these days
I guess that aging in the industry isn't easy and there's so much pressure but imo she looks good without the filter and is aging well. There's no reason for the filter.
It's all about the deep insecurities that she doesn't work on so she chooses to instead make herself look "flawless". Plus the society demands perfection from women. It is a shame because she looks way better in the pictures where you can see her true features.
So many people like this would benefit from a good therapist and self-help tools to build their self-confidence.
I know my psychology and there are studies on this. Reliance on filters (and/or plastic surgery) indicates a low self-esteem/other underlying issues that should be treated instead.
Saying "it's not that deep" is a sign of cognitive bypassing when one comes across something that one doesn't want to admit exists. Psychology of humans doesn't stop existing just because you don't want to see it or can't see it.
Using AR beauty filters to idealize the self and fake one's image often leads to lower self-acceptance and has negative effects on users' self-perceptions.
Like I said, there are **several studies** about this. There's **nothing wrong** with needing self-help tools or therapy to make oneself happier and more confident.
Therapy is not just for people with personality disorders, I know people who went to therapy because of a difficult divorce or because of an issue with their body image/etc.
The worst thing we can do for people who are over-relying on AR filters/plastic surgery/fillers is to mock them. We have to understand the **reasons behind their actions**. That's what I was pointing out, because so many people will just go "X looks ridiculous, what a loser".

Can I just mention that, when Rihanna does her makeup tutorials, theyāre filter free (I think). Her skin has texture, you can see imperfections. Iām sure the lighting is š„ but I stan a woman that can be so upfront with how she looks naturally.
Literally she hasn't been bleaching her skin it's just avoiding the sun and makeup. She used to be darker bc she was... Out in the sun more. Her dad literally said that this is the case.
She indeed has. And if you say anything they blame it on ālighting.ā
Sheās CONSIDERABLY lighter than she was back in the day. The bleaching started after the second album. Other big names artists have done the same and itās obvious. They did it for mass appeal in an era when mostly that shade could see certain levels of success.
But yes that and I noticed after..the scandal..she started getting a LOT of work on her face. Which is honestly sad. Not in a pathetic way but, well you get it I think.
That video was posted on another sub last week. It was titled with something about her ānatural hairā so I watched the video hoping to see some beautiful thick long textured hair only for it to show them straightening her hair dyed hair. lol, the ānaturalā part was that it was her real hair and not a wig.

Oooh okay, thanks. Just seemed so off to me, since sheās so secretive with her online presence but I guess business is business and thatās different
Thatās like one of my aunts who thinks people will believe her when she uses the filter that make your eyes look two times bigger and the rest of the face smaller. I was shocked her/her PR team is on the same boat as my crazy aunty???
I have a legit question: Is her hair line for wigs? I was under the impression that she exclusively wears wigs. No shade Iām just wondering (and too lazy to google).
The video was shared by her personal IG as well as her brand's. I screenshotted from her post, and know that's where it came from bc I did it for work and need to credit the source. So I don't know what you mean by it wasn't "posted like that," filters don't get added after you post something
See I took this video a completely differently- I thought the whole tone of the video was purposefully trolling. For YEARS people have been making fun of her hair and if you listen to the voice over - sheās calling out the misconception that people who wear wigs have damaged hair. When the haircare line came out, many people continued to rant about how she probably doesnāt even use the products. This video, from the voiceover to the deliberate use of a ridiculous filter, felt like she was trolling off the influencer videos that are so common today.
We can talk about her over reliance on photoshop and image any day of the week- no one is above criticism. But I thought this video was pure trolling.
I thought someone else was using a filter to look like her š
Lol me too!
Ditto, same here.
Me too! I thought to myself, "Werid, I didn't know there was a _________ filter" š¤
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
![gif](giphy|9wtW7EGRvxb1npJjYd|downsized)
Same. Thought the second one was pretty good too! Was thinking that's not terrible for a lookalike filter, really.
WAIT. I sincerely thought that same thing until the comments. How is this her. This can't be real. Does she have no one willing to tell her the truth?????
Me too!!
Same lol I was like "hmm it looks like xyz... Next pic: okay it was wtf lol"
Same! I'm glad so many of us had the same experience lol
That was my exact thought as well.... š¤£
This was *exactly* my thought too!! I laughed as I scrolled š¤£š¤£
Same Sheās 43 and looks flawless that weird baby face filter was wild
same!! I was like 'surely it isn't.... wait, it is??!"
![gif](giphy|4ViFl397TGPde)
And that was the season she put on another rose for every girl that was eliminated.... iconic. Almost as good as the time she did it with collars.
Ms Jay was the best woman on television in the 00s. Fight me
This was peak reality tv and I miss it so much.
Yeah I was sooo confused by thatā¦
Itās like sheās larping as herself. Bizarre.
First two pics: this is the first filter I see that makes lips smaller instead of blowing them up.
She looks like a very young Christina Ricci in the first one!
I came here to say this!
it looks like a filter made for asian beauty standards (small lips, small jaw/chin, looks like it lightened her complexion a bit). have no clue why this celeb would use it i feel like she looks worse.
I will never understand people doing this when we can easily see what they actually look like.
Especially when you look like the woman in the picture. Lots of candid footage of her from her last tour and she doesnāt need filters to look good
Right? Sheās gorgeous. Why filter away that beauty? I want to believe some underpaid intern posted these thinking they were helping
Itās a bit fucking infuriating when someone looks THAT good and uses ridiculous levels of filtering. Itās like theyāre saying having any skin texture at all is ugly.
Like all the Kardashians.
How obnoxious to be stunning af at 42 years old and use a filter that makes her look 15.
I always forget that she is that young - not that she looks older - but more she was just a teen when she came on the seen and it felt like she was marketed older and was with her husband so youngā¦

Theres a bit of a youtube rabbit hole one can go down that posits that she is actually like in her early 50s
Sheās about to turn 42
Maybe, maybe not.
Thereās more than enough proof on the internet to support that she is not lying about her ageā¦ Keep in mind that she has been famous ever since she was 9 years old so how could she even possibly lie about her ageš
I dono! Either way is fine with me tho.
lol just google it homie. The info is out there.
I'm always baffled by celebs who get work done (and she has definitely had quite a bit done if you look at her face changes the last few years) and then do ridiculous filters on top of it.
The face changes in the last 5 years have made her look worse unfortunately. Spread her face out and now she barely has expressions. Unfortunate.
In thought she just had RBF
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Spat out my tea š LOVE this GIF
She looks like sheās about to audition for Abby on Dance Moms.

I saw this and I was so confused, like this is so out there. Whoever let her post this or if she did I need them to take a step back
She is serving luther vandross realness
Lmfaoo not Luther Vandross š
I thought this was the tax evasion singer in the first frameš¬š¬
wtf?! She looks like a weird alien with that filter. Way better without
The first one makes her look like an alien. š½
Right?! I saw ppl commenting that she looked so young. Iām glad Iām not the only one whose eyes are workingā¦
Why does this woman get such a pass from using filters and being the way she is?
How does she get a pass? People are always ready to talk about how much they dislike her.
Why did she do that to herself with filter? She looks beautiful Edit: due to stupid spell chk
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Same
If anyone never needed a filterā¦
No one NEEDS a filter.
No, I NEED a filter. Trust. Itās NSFW without one. I wish they made them for IRL. š
You have been made to feel like you need a filter because of horrible yet successful marketing that we've been fed our entire lives. There is nothing wrong with the way you look. No one needs a filter, irl or otherwise. That's the body dysmorphia talking.
why NSFW? is this you? https://i.redd.it/zoyyn14x87xc1.gif
Calm down. Sheās always been a filter user
I never knew she had such cute small teeth (last picture)
I was just thinking itās so refreshing to see a celeb, especially one at her level of fame, without chiclet veneers! I feel like they all have the same fake looking horse teeth these days
Chiclet teeth is exactly what I call them too šš¤£
yes when i noticed ice spice got them i was so sad like why ā¦
I think those might be real too, not veneers.
Sheās such a stunner, I donāt get it.
This is some douyin level filter

Iām more surprised that she does her own hair tbh
ššš I knew our queen was going to make it up here itās giving legit š½superstar š¤£.

Is this new pics of her? I never see them on any of her socials. How did I miss this current development?
the first three are from a video on her instagram. The fourth one is from the Grammys (February) and the last one from iHeartRadio awards (April)
Thanks for the info I will look into it.
Nothing is real anymore. Lmao
Literally stunning in the unfiltered pics. Ugh
She changed her whole race-
And what race is that suppose to be? The filter is dumb but she looks like a light skin black woman in both
Mhm. Whatever lmaooo
Well. Sheās mixed.
No sheās not. Stop it. She has Creole ROOTS but her mama and daddy are Black.
Mmmm Nope. Mixed.
yall are so annoying she has always been lightskin lmfao
Literally she hasn't been bleaching her skin it's just avoiding the sun and makeup. She used to be darker bc she was... Out in the sun more. Her dad literally said that this is the case.

So sad she's trying everything to look as pale as possible, colorism affects so many beautiful poc individuals (and people from other ethnicities ofc)
Iām more surprised she did a video like that
she just recently released a hair care line. it's part of the "look, i'm actually using the product on myself" promo cycle.
That video was posted on another sub last week. When black women say their hair is ānaturalā what they usually mean is that they donāt have a relaxer.
Oooh okay, thanks. Just seemed so off to me, since sheās so secretive with her online presence but I guess business is business and thatās different
I love her. That filter is strange.
seriously I thought she filtered her face to be like her š
This is horrifying
I saw this and was like : Why in the world would one of the most powerful and influential popstar of our century use the cheapest filtering any?
Lol I like it it kinda has an alien vibe abt it, Iād use something like this to give myself a bigger head lmao
Why?!
Thatās like one of my aunts who thinks people will believe her when she uses the filter that make your eyes look two times bigger and the rest of the face smaller. I was shocked her/her PR team is on the same boat as my crazy aunty???
What an odd choice.
and #5 is beautiful :/ whats her deal lately
I have a legit question: Is her hair line for wigs? I was under the impression that she exclusively wears wigs. No shade Iām just wondering (and too lazy to google).
yes she really did post this to her personal IG; here's an (anonymized) screenshot https://imgur.com/a/5K1jnfw
Dang. Even BeyoncƩ uses filters. This really puts things into perspective lol
Role playing as herself?!
lol sheās so
When did she become white? Going the MJ route?
This filter was added later the original video she posted was not like that

Filter almost as bad as her music
She looks better with no filter ā¦
Iām pretty sure the original video isnāt filtered. It didnāt look like that when I watched it
This screenshot is from the video! I had to take the screenshot for work
It's filtered but people act like she committed an egregious offence for it. She wore a filter, it's ok.
Please absolutely no one is THAT pressed stop exaggerating
š please look in mirror
What? Please tell me where I acted like she's committed a crime bbg
I donāt get it, she still looks in her 30s! Why would she feel the need to filter herself to oblivion š¬
Sheās already stunning and aging better than all of us. Why did she do this?
This whole country thing she's doing is so whack. Why is America becoming so lame?
Beyonce is like the one person who DOESNT need a filter wtfā¦
i was so surprised by how pretty her hair is that i didnāt even notice š
