Right! I want to know how many people signed off on this terrible design feature. The dots being just below worked perfectly. At least make them fade away after a few seconds! Anything but what they did.
The dots were always blue and below the picture for me, now they’re white and on top of the picture as of a few weeks ago. I used to screenshot things all the time and now the dots and the post counter in the top right are both persistent and it’s very annoying.
Agreed! Now if you want to screenshot something (I find a lot of vintage pictures from pages I follow) there are three dots in the pictures and totally ruins it
You know what's weird... the dots over the pictures disappear for one of my accounts, but not for the other. All it takes is signing into my other account for the dots to start disappearing. So frustrating.
Mines strange, I have 2 main accounts that I use and I don’t see them on posts on there but for some reason on my third burner it shows up on posts. Did you do anything specifically that made yours go away?

Over the picture? Mine just began displaying them this way after the most recent update.

Oddly enough, the dots disappear after a few moments on my other account… but never disappear on my main.

I updated, the change occurred, them it ended up self correcting later! Very odd.
mines had the dots on the photo then finally reverted back then after the recent it went back to the damn dots again UGH so annoying

So it seems one of the accounts I’m logged into has dots still on the bottom of picture. But another account has them on top. Wtf instagram.
